Shadow smiled and replied,"No,I'm half wolf and half german shepherd. I guess you can't smell good,can you?" She shook her head and licked a wound on his neck. "Why did they tear you up like this? You do somethin' they don't like?",she asked and continued to lick his wounds.
I\'m extremely sorry for my absence. I\'ve been very busy and was recently attacked by 3 dogs and am currently recovering.

Shadow sighed and replied,"Oh,I see." She then laid down beside him and added,"I always wished I could get my paws on them and take one of their ranks. If I ever did I would give you credit,then you may get one of their ranks too." Her eyes then looked off towards the area of the city that was more ruined and had falling buildings everywhere. That was her territory and she loved it,maybe she could share it with Hercules.

Alieda padded through the back roads and alleys of the city. She had been on her own since she was a pup and was a very independent female. She never really had a problem with the mofia but that was because they didn't know about her. She was like a ghost to this town, never staying in one place for very long she constantly moved homes and sleep corrters

Navion nodded obediently. "So, uh, are we gonna do it?" Raeyura asked him. "Of course. He's the boss, we have to follow his orders, whether we are told why or not. I'm sure he has his reasons." Navion replied, trying to justify Nerezz as much to himself as he was to Raeyura. Raeyura nodded an 'okay', and they set out. They saw a big grey dog first, ranked number 8, and they followed her through the streets, being careful to keep a wide distance between them, and to keep to the shadows.
Ambrosia continued to follow Amanda. She was used to the pungent smells of the city, so it didn't bother her much when she had to go through an alleyway with at least five bins in it. She decided that if she didn't make her move now, Amanda would be off her turf and she wouldn't have any excuse, so she neared the gap between them, keeping her pawsteps silent. "And what do you think you're doing here?" she purred as she moved up next to Amanda. |

Hercules looked up at Shadow in surprise. "You would really let me?" he asked, more of a rhetorical question than a straight one. he leapt up, forgetting about his wounds. when Shadow mentioned them again, he imediately replied. "I'll be fine." Hercules lokoed up at shadow with his dark eyes, gleaming full of admiration. "Thank you." he added.

Alieda laid down behind a dumpster where she would sleep for the time being untill it was time to leave. her ears folded back agains her head and she closed her eyes wishing to run off in the dreams that normally swept her away.

Amanda looked up at the dog who approached, being careful not to jump despite her surprise. Being jumpy made other dogs think you were weak. With a few more sniffs she identified this dog as the one she had been tracking. " I'm walking. I do apologize, did I break some kind of law by strolling through the area? " she asked. She couldn't help but be sarcastic, considering the fact that she was right by mafia territory. Even if her mouth got her into trouble, she could bolt back to safety in a heartbeat and get back up. There wasn't really anything to worry about.

Ambrosia muffled a growl; How dare this runty stranger talk to her like that? She regained her composure and puffed out her chest so she was looking down at the smaller dog. "Oh, nothing," Ambrosia replied, in an equally sarcastic tone, "You're just on my turf, is all." Her voice hardened at the last few words, and her eyes narrowed.

Hercules bowed his head then set off at a slow trot after Shadow. After a while, Shadow had gone completely out of his sight. Another bad thing about having no sense of smell. He looked around desperately, looking for the dark shape of Shadow. He had not ventured into this part of the Mafia territory before. Hercules found himself lost.

" Barely. Don't you have something better to do with your time than to hang around trying to intimidate me? " Amanda said as she stared up at the larger dog. Generally non-mafia dogs would rather slink away into the shadows to seek food than bother mafia members. It just wasn't worth the effort of trying to chase them off, especially since most dogs didn't know who was on top in the mafia. No one wanted to lose a limb for bothering the wrong dog. |

Shadow got worried after a while,since Hercules had not been seen and sniffed the air. She picked up his scent and ran towards it. Soon she saw him and went up to him. "Sorry. I forgot you were hurting and ran a bit to fast,didn't I?",she apologized and her ears laid down on her head as her tail drooped.

Ambrosia didn't even try to reduce her growl this time. "You'd better watch your tongue, you little rat!" she hissed, raising a paw irritably, "Now scram, before I break your pretty little neck!" She spat the last word, and advanced more towards Amanda to scare her off.

Shadow straightened up and nodded before saying,"Ok,then. Lets go." She then began to walk towards her territory,making sure not to go to fast so her new friend could keep up and not get lost.

(lol. my last post made it sound like hercy lied about not being a puppy xD)
Hercules trotted after Shadow, more closely this time, and tried to memorize this route and this new turf. he looked around, as sight was the only way he could possibly know where he was. he was glad that he now had the trust of a tough wolfdog- he hoped- and he would not get bullied much any more.
