Miranda wandered around the suburb, her already badly stained white dress was covered in dirt and blood in her scarred hands she held her rusted scissors, her tangled black hair fell around her knees covered in bits of leaves dirt and mattered with blood.

Merlin nodded and burst into dust. He reappeared outside and scooped up a large drift of snow with several tendrils of shadow. He then rematerialised in Lilly's room, spread a large sheet of shadow over the floor and dropped the snow on it. "Snow." he said.

A tendril of shadow snapped around Miranda's neck and slammed her against the window. "Do you know this person?" Merlin asked, jabbing a thumb over his shoulder.
