Stifling a laugh Sweetpaw trotted after her denmate, her eyes sparkling now that she was in a better mood again. Though Silentpaw's last words had left a sour note for that moment, it was hard to stay upset when the prospect of filling her belly lay on the horizon. Pausing to arch her back to work out the kinks Sweetpaw yawned and dashed after Silentpaw, realizing he'd gotten quite far ahead while she had stopped. Giving out a small mew of surprise she caught up to her friend, pumping her short legs as fast as she could. There was always a bad side to being small (not to mention adorable). 

"I wonder what they're going to bring back," she meowed excitedly, turning her eyes on Silentpaw. "I'd be happy with even a scrawny water vole, but I don't think we're near any rivers." Stilling her mouth Sweetpaw snorted aloud at a recent thought. "Though, it is wet enough out here for them to live," she mewed in amusement.

Spider paused for a moment, letting the offer sink in fully. "Wait, a try?" he meowed in a voice filled with disbelief, thought it being bad or good shock not yet determined. Blinking his eyes a few times the tom struggled to get his next words out, feeling his pride swirling down the river the entire time. "I guess..." he started uncomfortably, "I wouldn't mind. You guys seem to be so connected...it's something I've always wondered what it felt like." Realizing he was being a bit sentimental Spider coughed and shook his head in wonderment.

"If your leader is really that fair, and I hope I don't sound like a braggart, but I might have a chance. Of course, I can't seeing your two friends being happy with me coming along, however." Giving the black clancat a pointed look while glancing at the ginger tom in evident annoyance.

Leopardwind hissed but stayed silent, knowing that Panthergaze was being quite fair with the rogue. And besides, in these times, they needed every able-bodied cat they could find. Especially if they knew the territory. "You'd best be good," she growled in warning, keeping hooded eyes on the rogue. "Otherwise first chance I get you'll find yourself tumbling head over tail right down into a raging river, you understand me?" Turning she brushed past Panthergaze roughly and started back towards their prey cache. "We should hurry back then," she meowed loudly, waving her tail in the air.

Robinstar trudged back to camp, aws heavy with mud. He sighed as he lept onto a large tree stump. "StreamClan!" he called, "Come my clan, gather around."

Jadewing gave Brokentail a half smile, "Then perhaps we should do somewhere less wet?" she giggled, "Well, Robinstar is calling" she said flicking his cheek with her tail, "We shuold go aand see whats up."

Troutsplash was light on his feet as he watched the ground closely in search for prey. Seeing a blackbird he was shocked. He hadn't seen a small bird since greenleaf. Perhaps StarClan were in good Spirits today. Creeping slowly but quickly after the bird he lept; killing it with one swipe of his quick and deadly paws. Bird in his mouth he pranced back to his group and set it down, "Robinstar will be thrilled with our catch!" he mewed, "I hope the other patrol was just as lucky"

Chuckling softly as Sweetpaw caught up to him, Silentpaw licked his lips in anticipation of finally eating. His stomach felt hollow and crampy. "If it's meat and not rotten i'll eat it." He meowed swiftly, stretching in the weak sunlight. He felt tired and weaker then normal, and he hated the feeling. "We should let the voles have the territroy then, cats don't belong here." He grumbled, twitching an ear.

Panthergaze sighed as Leopardwind brushed by, clearly agitated. But as he turned around he grunted in surprise and pain as Fallenbane's right forepaw caught his ear, sending a burning pain through the appendage. The ginger tom though did not say another word as he grabbed his prey and apdded off as well, broad shoulders jutting from his skinny pelt. Growling lowly, Panthergaze shot Spider a apologetic look. "Do not mind them to much; this journey has taken it's toll on all of us. And we lost clan members, family." He blinked sadly, remembering. "But it does not mean we are weak, if anything we are stronger for it. It's what makes us a clan. The close ties." Shaking his head the ebony tom started back towards the camp, flicking his tail for Spider to follow. Once the camp came into view he looked around for Robinstar. After he spotted the leader he padded swiftly over. "May I speak with you?" He asked, not surprised to see his former mentor glaring at him.

BiC; Robinstar looked at Panthergaze, "Pf corse." he meowed quite softly, "But quickly, I have called the clan for a quick meeting"

"If only we could subsist on berries," Sweetpaw muttered under her breath, growling as they approached the nigh empty fresh-kill pile. Tapping her paw irritably she shrugged and chuckled at Silentpaw's reproachful mew. "Now, if only we could find those voles. Then I would be happy." Flicking her tail she tilted her head upwards and licked up a few droplets of water the landed on her face, purring the while. The rain wasn't half-bad when it was pelting down on her like a hail of rocks.

Leopardwind scowled heavily, though her eyes were visibly less guarded, and flicked her tail. "Come along then," she meowed in a flinty voice, giving Spide a good glare before standing to the side to allow him through. "I'll follow and make sure no...mischief...happens," she grumbled under her breath, flexing her claws for good measure. It was strange, allowing a strange cat into their Clan so soon after their escape from their own territory. Waiting for the black tom to pad off in front of her Leopardwind set off in a slow lope, keeping her eyes straight ahead on the rogue.

Spider shook his head ruefully and slipped ahead of the ornery she-cat, letting out an amused purr when he felt Leopardwind's eyes settle on his back. Flicking his tail teasingly he slunk ahead, taking comfort in the dark silence of the forest. After a few moments of travel a gorse barrier came in view, towering high above the tom. Keeping back a meow of shock at the sight he forged ahead and crept into the camp cautiously, shivering when he felt a multitude of eyes land him. He felt especially shaken by a pair of cold blue eyes belonging to a cream and gold she-cat sitting next to the cat Panthergaze was speaking to, her bearing suggesting she had a high placement in the Clan.

Dawnrush nodded distractedly, feeling proud of their haul. It was pitiful compared to the amounts of prey they could catch back at their old home, but that could be a sign that this was not to be their home. Shivering as more rain pelted down on her she trotted back a few foxlengths and dug up her shrew and squirrel, purring at the delicious scent that wafted up from them. "We shoul' ge' t'camp," she meowed in a muffled voice.

Chuckling softly at Sweetpaw's antic's, Silentpaw sat down in the mud. A flash of ginger made his fur brlistle slightly, but if his fur was only prickling  then Fallenbane's was as spiky as if he'd been battling some cat. His father looked down right furious. Ears flat against his small skull, Silentpaw glanced towards the main entrance of the camp and hissed in surprise. His mentor had walked in with an unknown cat; some rouge. Standing up swiftly with a warning hiss to Sweetpaw, the tabby tom-cat stared between the rouge and Robinstar.

Looking over his broad shoulder towards where Wavepelt was looking, Panthergaze sighed softly. This would be harder then it looked if so many cats already disliked Spider. "Er, the patrol I was on this morning came across a rouge," He flicked his thin tail towards Spider. "who I deemed had the qualities of a warrior born." Looking at his paws, he suddenly felt like a kit again. "I know it was not my place, but with so many mouths to feed another set of claws could not hurt." Or at least he hoped not. Silently he prayed to Starclan to have made the right decision. He doubted that Spider would teach him the basic's of becoming a rouge if Robinstar had the other cats chase them both out. Shooting a apologetic look at Leopardwind for having drug her into this he waited for Robinstar's decision.

OoC: Seadragon has not posted once either, and they are medicine cat. Has anyone r-mailed them yet? If not then I will do so.

Brokentail nodded in agreement. He was just begging to raise himself up when he noticed that some of the warriors were back from the hunt, only they weren't walking in with a bounty of prey, they had brought a rouge. "Well, well, well..."He murmered looking over at them before turning his orange eyes towards Jadewing to see her reaction.

Midnightflower looked up when she noticed the cats around her freeze midstep. She turned her blue eyes around her until they rested on Panthergaze, Leopardwind and Fallenbane. They had left earlier that morning to go hunting, but she didn't see prey anywhere. Instead she saw a scrawny looking rouge trailing behind Panthergaze. "I hope the don't expect us to eat him..." She muttered as she watched the rouge, her cold blue eyes watching him. She noticed Fallenbane away from the the cats. She padded over to him, bowing her head as she neared. "So, who's bright idea was this?" purred as she watched Panthergaze approach the leader. "I trust it wasn't yours."

((Wait, is Panthergaze talking to Robinstar privately? Or like can everyone hear?))

BiC: Amber eyes boring into Spider's back as if he was nothing but a pelt full of flea's, Fallenbane prayed to whoever that Robinstar would send the spineless rouge packing. Flicking his ears as Midnightflower interuppted his glaring, the ginger warrior tipped his head to the side so he could peer at the she-cat as she spoke. Listening, he scoffed; tail tip twitching. "If it were up to me that hopeless scrap of fur would be laying in the forest somewhere licking his wounds." He muttered contemptuously, lifting one mud soaked paw and licking it. "Tell me, what do you think of our newest visitor?" He asked, wondering what the normally anti-social she-cat would say. 

"If it were up to me that hopeless scrap of fur would be laying in the forest somewhere licking his wounds." Fallenbane scoffed, causing Midnightflower to smile slightly, she shook her head slightly and began licking her paw absent mindedly. "Tell me, what do you think of our newest visitor?"

She raised her paw to her ear and wiped it. "I think, that we don't need anymore mouths to feed." she said her eyes glaring at Panthergaze, then at the other cat. She licked her paw once more. "I was quite hoping for a vole or something." She said flicking her tail. "But imagine my surprise, when I see you guys wallacing in with him." She looked at the black cat next to Panthergaze. "Well at least we don't have to eat him." She said licking her paw once more.

Spider flicked his ears and turned his head, turning flat gray eyes on the ginge warrior and another she-cat, watching them silently. Blinking once he shrugged coolly and padded up to Panthergaze, chuckling to himself when Leopardwind hugged his pawsteps fanatically. Settling down next to the ebony warrior he copied the tom's movements and dipped his head at the beige tom in front of him. The cat in front of him was large and clearly dominated the clearing. Tail twitching he awaited the tom's verdict, keeping his head ducked and eyes in front of him.

"If we had to eat him I think i'd rather starve. Starclan knows what kind of sicknesses that creature harbors." Fallenbane mused, causing Midnightflower to chuckle slightly. She focus over at the conversation, wondering what Robinstars verdict would be, knowing him, she was sure he was going to let the runt stay.

She heard Fallenbane mutter something to himself beside her. Then she noticed he started say something about food and she flicked her ear and turned her eyes to him. "...but I did not want to let him know that lest he thinks we should share because this is 'his' territory. We could go get it and perhaps split a peice so Robinstar and the queen could get some. No use us warriors starving in case danger arises." 

Midnightflower nodded at that. "True, true." She purred, she scanned the area for a moment. "So, wanna go get it now? No one would noticed if we slipped out for a couple of seconds. Plus, we know what Robinstar will say anyways, being the caring cat he is."

"A rogue?" the startled leader asked shocked, "Whats your name Rogue?"
