Lionpaw burst into the forest,flinching at every movement. He then realized Frostpaw was supposed to go with him. "Mousedung!" He cursed himself. He sat down, hoping Frostpaws' head would appear out of the brush. lionpaw fidgeted, trying to keep control. He was so quiet, a mouse scittered right by him. His insticts told him to chase, so he did. He pounced, killingthe mouse with a swift bit6e. He quickly went back to where he origonally was, with the mouse dangling from his jaws.

Frostpaw bristled slightly, then followed after Lionpaw. "Where in Starclan are you going?" She asked, a growl tinting her voice. "We need to get warriors! Not-" She was cut off by a growl, deeper than her own. A flash of russet fur could be seen through dark leaves.
The fox.
Frostpaw turned to Lionpaw, but kept her eye on the advancing form. "I'll lead it away! Go get warriors, and tell them to go to the stream." She choked before leaping forward, closer to the fox.
The beast moved to bite her, but she ran right past it, streaking through the woods. It followed. Frostpaw could feel it's breath on her tail, which only urged her to go faster. You can beat it! Almost at the river. Once you're there...
She broke through the trees, only to be met by the rushing stream. The fox was on top of her in an instant. Frostpaw hissed and rolled over, slashing it's muzzle on the turn. It swiped at her, managing to nick her ear. She leapt for it, but slid through it's paws and up a tree behind it.
This is where my skill comes in handy.
She sat on a lower branch, taunting it and hoping Lionpaw would bring the other warriors soon.

Lionpaw growled. The fox didn't need to be distracted.But he stared at Frostpaw in the tree, and felt a giant fireballof energy, fueled by fear. He raced off, heading towards camp. As soon as he got there, he yowled, "Fox! There's a fox! Frostpaws' in danger!" |

The first time was fine because it's one charrie, and it helped characterize both Hailtwist and Dragonfly, but now its just unoriginal and annoying. Grayfangs' ears perked. "Whatr?" He barked. "A fox?" Lionpaw nodded. "Oh damn..." Grayfang called everyone towards him. "Everyone! We have to go!" He was almost in panic mode. He'd just been made deputy! What should he do? "We need at least one warrior to stay in camp."*Fail*

"Wait" Gladestar said. "Grayfang, there is no need to panic the camp," she said, trying to be kind. "Iceblink, you, Dogstrike and Lionpaw are to go and find Frostpaw, kill the fox. Grayfang, you had best go as well." she said.

Grayfangs' muscles relax. "Okay, troops! Follow Lionpaw, he knows where to go." Lionpaw tartedtrotting fast-paced out of camp. Please let Frostpaw be alright. He willed. They raced across the territory. He headed towards where the fox was last- seen, hoping it was still there.

Frostpaw sent a menacing hiss right at the fox, who yipped relentlessly, saliva flying from it's jaws. She glanced east, in the direction of the camp. I hope they come soon. She thought. She was getting sick of this beast and it's high-pitched barks.
Just then, she heard footfalls against the well-trodden, if slightly damp, ground. The fox heard them too, and immediately ceased it's yelping, perking up and turning in the direction of the noise.
"Watch out!" Frostpaw exclaimed to whoever was behind those bushes. "The fox is right behind the bush!"

((SORRY SORRY!!!! I couldn't get on the forums because of my mom. D: She's having surgery next week)) Iceblink jumped out into the open just in time to hear Frostpaw's warning, leaping right into the fox's jaws... Dogstrike gasped as the fox took Iceblink in his teeth, shaking him around as if he weighed no more than a mouse. Angry, he sprang out of the bush and dug his claws into the fox's hide, trying to loosen his grip on the warrior. The fox yelped in surprise, letting go of Iceblink, sending the snow-white warrior flying into the tall branches of a tree. He growled, licking the blood off his teeth as he turned to Dogstrike, Lionpaw and Grayfang. Dogstrike bristled in a queer combination of fear and fury. "Frostpaw, climb up and check on Iceblink!" he ordered urgently, his tail lashing as he stared down the fox. "Lionpaw, has Ashflight taught you badger defense?" he asked. --- Heronstrike nodded obediently. "Dragonfly, forget guarding the nursery, Hailtwist can handle it" he ordered. "We are chasing away the fox." he said.
