((Badger defence, against a fox? XD PS: Hope your mom'll be okay soon. :D))
Lionpaw nodded, and set to work. Oe of the most important thing about foxes was don't go near the jaws! Foxes mostly used their teeth to attack. Lionpaw puffed himself up and hissed, swishing his tail angrily. He unsheathed his claws and ripped the foxes back legs, making them bleed horribly.
"No, no!" Dogstrike said with a little frustration, trying to remain calm, even as the fox reared wildly, trying to snap up Lionpaw's petite form. "Be the badger, a lot of the fighting tactics that badgers use are good against foxes!" Dogstrike yowled, rolling to the side to avoid one of the fox's falling paws. He took the opportunity and raked the fox's belly.
"Oh, okay!" Lionpaw whizzed around, steering clear of the foxes' menacing teeth. He leaned forward and slashed the foxes' face with as much vigour as he could. He pranced away, so the fox couldn't hurt him.
Lionpaw reared, and bit downon the foxes tail. Hard. He danced away again. The fox was real slow. He went beside Dogstrike, and repeatedly slashed at the fox.
The fox screeched in agony. He reared, barely able to throw off the cats as he sprinted away, tail between his legs. He was going towards twoleg territory. They would take care of him... hopefully in a way that hurt.
Dogstrike landed on the ground panting. He smiled at the two apprentices. "You two did really well" he said, his eyes shining. "Frostpaw, I will be talking to Gladestar about you becoming a warrior."
