((I might but not now. :P *tries to make Crystalstar do something*)) Crystalstar was glad that Dragonfly would be all right (or at least she hoped so). Right now she was in mood to fight. Maybe she could sneak into Duskclan....? But maybe not, there was risk to that action. But it might be fun to mess around with the cats there. Still deciding what to do, Crystalstar slowly walked away, her paws lightly touching the ground and her tail swishing back and forth. Walking to the border, Crystalstar was about to cross it, but she knew better than to cross it just because she was bored. She walked away, tracing the sand with her tail as she walked. She found it rather amusing to trace her tracks in the sand and then follow them. But of course she gets bored of doing it after a while, for she mostly seeks adventure and fighting rather than quiet activities. That just wasn't her.

Frostpaw stared at him, tense. "Don't call my effort a waste of time, Dogstrike. I don't care if you're my mentor, I won't have you bullying me around like this." Her voice had turned into a half-growl. There was no hint of the kit that she had started out with. Moons of training with Dogstrike had hardened her into the fierce, stubborn cat she was right then.
She still sat in between him and the fresh kill pile, as if daring him to refuse her again and come closer.

((*group hug Sea and full*)) Duskclan: Gladestar growled softly. She sat in the tall oak tree that stretched above the border. Though the branch itself was across the border, the trunk was on her territory, so she supposed it was okay. No one had ever objected before. The low growl escaped just as Crystalstar was walking away. what was the Dawnclan leader doing so close to the border, all by herself? She wondered this curiously as she climbed down to her territory. "We will see" she whispered with a growl, padding smoothly back to camp. She watched Dogstrike and noticed Frostpaw. She padded up gazing at the eggs. "These smell delightful Dogstrike," she said "Did your apprentice get these on her as.sessment?" Gladestar asked, Dogstrike's tail twitched, his fur prickling angrily. "I told her it was a waste of time to be climbing trees and risking her life-" "Oh hush" Gladestar interupted. "Frostpaw, Dogstrike is right about one thing, you should not put yourself in danger, the clan needs you, but taking these eggs was very clever, I might like to take one for myself if the imaginary elders and kits don't want any." Gladestar chuckled and walked away, Dogstrike's coat bristling with rage. Ashflight purred at Lionpaw. He was always so sweet. "We'll train near the banks of our part of the river, no worries, its shallow, but its sandy there, better to cushion your fall, if you fall." Ashflight said. "Let this be your first test Lionpaw, lead the way" she said. "Pretend that you are my mentor, and show me the way to the river." ~ [Dawnclan] Hailtwist smiled at Dragonfly nervously, not acknowledging a word she said. "Oh, sorry, I wasn't listening" he said. He realised how stupid this sounded and turned bright red under his fur. "I'm sorry" he said again, softer. "I'm not myself today, maybe we should go back...." Heronstrike noticed Crystalstar pacing the camp. "Are you alright Crystalstar" he asked, somewhat worried. "You seem agitated." Applesong sighed, grooming the last kit, careful to avoid its mishapped leg. "Your kits are beautiful" she purred to Fernheart, her voice sweet as honey and full of awe. She twitched her ears, as if she heard something. "Starclan is asking for their names"

Dragonfly raised her eyebrow. "We should at least catch something first! This is a hunting exibition!" She sniffed, the air, pinpointed mouse, and quickly went after it. She pounced on the little creature, and came back to Hailtwist. "We can go now." Although, with the mouse in her mouth, it sounded more like, "Wh cnwhu gro nuiw." Lionpaw nodded. "Yes Ashpaw!" He joked. He went at a quick pace, looking back to make sure Ashflight followed. Soon they were there. "Here we are, Ashflight!" He announced proudly. |

Frostpaw watched Gladestar, not bothering to cover her surprise. Finally she shrugged, though not meekly or sheepishly. "I was just challenging myself. Seeing what I was capable of." She said honestly.
When the leader left, chuckling under her breath, Frostpaw shot a glance at Dogstrike. Her ex
pression wasn't smug. Instead, it was appreciative. She was glad to see someone so openly angry at the leader. Me and him- we're not like the other cats. We don't live like mice. She looked away. "You don't have to eat them." She said. "I just wanted you to stop criticizing me. I knew it was dangerous, even before you told me another five times." She stood, burying the remains of her prey, and left, tail flicking.
(( Hey, d'you suppose we should post in our Clan's colour? Like, the colour code on the first few posts? Might make life easier. o3o ))

"I will inform Crystalstar right away, would you like me to send an apprentice in with fresh-kill?" she asked. Hailtwist shrugged. "No, no, perhaps we should go on, I want to catch something too, Fernheart's kits will be hungry when they're born, right?" he said. Of course, Fernheart wasn't his actual concern. Fernheart wasn't due for another few days, right? But there was no way he was going back to camp without food when Dragonfly had that handsome mouse. He needed to stop being so flea-brained himself. He might never get more time alone with Drgaonfly. -- Dogstrike forced his fur to smooth and sighed, watching as Frostpaw walked away. Hesighed again, looking at the eggs. He rolled on out of the nest and smashed it, eating its gooey and juicy contents. He had to admit, it wasn't bad. He just didn't want his first apprentice to be his last if she hurt herself by being reckless. He trotted back into his den and laid down in his nest. Ashflight chuckled at Lionpaw light-heartedly. "Nicely done Lionpaw, now you remember the last lesson don't you?" she asked. Something lurked silently in the bushes behind Lionpaw.... "Always be prepared for-" but Ashflight was interrupted. "Surprise attacks!" Minnowfoot yowled, leaping from the bushes and tackling Lionpaw.
