"I'm fine Heronstrike." Crystalstar replied, trying to sound like she was okay.  It was getting rather tempting to go mess around with Duskclan's leader, and if she hadn't knew better she would've already crossed the Duskclan border by now.  She walked away, trying to put on a brave face.  "Forget it." She mumbled, now she was going to be her normal self.

Crystal walked over to Fernheart, smiling at the sight of newborn kits.  "Congratulations on the new kits!" Crystalstar exclaimed.  "Just look at them, so sweet!  They shall grow up to be wonderful cats of our clan."

Ashflight chuckled. "He is" she agreed, smiling at Frostpaw. "Did Dogstrike ever teach you about surprise attacks?" she inquired.

Minnowfoot growled and twirled in a complicated circle, like a dog chasing its tail, to prevent Lionpaw from actually landing on him. Lionpaw thudded to the ground, but regained his balance too soon for Minnowfoot to strike. His tail lashed several times as the two toms stared each other down, then, Minnowfoot pounced again, his paws driving into Lionpaw's side, but not too hard as to knock him over.

Hailtwist snarled, but he didn't move. His mind switched from shy and careful to protective and angry. The fox began to chase after Dragonfly. "Oh no you don't!" Hailtwist grunted, leaping forward just in time to slash the fox's face. He pushed back with his hind paws, the bright orange fur from the fox's face wedged between his claws. "Run back to camp Dragonfly!" he yowled. "Warn the others! I'll fend it off until you come back with help!" he added. He stared at the fox as it circled him, its beady black eyes blazing with fury. The fox sprang. Hailtwist ran. He weaved expertly between the trees, keeping the fox occupied so it wouldn't chase Dragonfly on her way back to camp. Every now and then he'd stop and wait for the fox to catch up, then weave between its legs and slash at tender areas along the belly, taking more and more fur- and sometimes blood. 

She heard Hailtwist's yowl, andturned around. The fox wasn't following. Se ran back, yowling. Soon, she was at Hailtwist's side. "I- won't- let- you- fight-- alone!" She growled, slipping under the fox and scratching it's belly. The fox whelped and bit her ruff, missing her important neck-parts by a hair. She scrambled out from under the foxes' belly, and scratched the foxin the butt. Hard. The foxyelped, and ran, tail tucked.  Dragonfly was covered in blood, but most of it was the foxes. Dragonfly managed to pant, "I'll fight with you untill the end of the world if I had to." She started licking hailtwist, licking all the blood off. "We better get back." She said softly. "And tell the Clan to watch for foxes."

Lionpaw swished his tail when Minnowfoot bowled him. He growled playfully. "You won't beat me!" He yowled, using all the force he could muster to push Minnowfoot off him. He completed this task, and pushed Minnowfoot down. His muscles where screaming, but he ignored the pain, and pawed Minnowfoot claws, sheathed.

Dragonfly's ears went down, and she yelled at him, "Fine, I won't help you again!" She hissed, and swished her tail. "Uraghh!" She cried. When she saw Hailtwisthad gone, she sat down, and started crying. (In a cat-way) She was angry at Hailtwist, but then why was she crying, not clawing something? Her heart felt heavy, as if she had seen three Clanmates die in front of her. She had though Haitwist wouldn't react like that... She slowly got up and steadily walk to camp, making sure she would run into Hailtwist.When she got into camp, then she realized they hadn't brought any prey back. She went instantly to the warriors den, not bothering to get something to eat, even though she was hungry. (Aww, poor Dragonfly... D;) 

((:P Hailtwist is the harsher brother. Do't blame him, he was mad from the heat of battle, and frustrated that Dragonfly didn't save herself. That's what worries him. He wants a mate who knows to put herself before him))

Hailtwist stopped at the camp entrance, then slowly continued to the edge of the apprentice's den. He slipped into the gap between the apprentice den wall and the elder's den, barely enough room to turn around. He laid down, resting his head on his paws, leaning against the rock, thinking of his actions.

Applesong watched Dragonfly enter camp, blood streaming down her pelt still as she sulked her way into the warriors den. She trotted out of the nursery, waving her tail in farewell to the clan's newest mother. She sat in the dim light of the warriors den. "Dragonfly" she said, her voice crisp, but smooth as clean linens at the same time. "Come to my den, that neck wound is deep." she said. She didn't know what had attacked Dragonfly on her hunting trip with Hailtwist. After all, Hailtwist was unharmed, she noticed. Then it hit her... did Hailtwist attack Dragonfly?!

((Hrmmm... I still think you should make a Duskclan charrie. I own all the warriors in that clan... and the leader. O.o I could interact with you then.

With Crystalstar... I dun really know. Maybe have her ask Hailtwist why he's sulking in a corner?))

Hailtwist avoided Dragonfly's gaze. His eyes closing and ears flat. He let out a soft growl, not audible from so far away.  He opened his eyes, staring at his paws. Nothing more, nothing less.

"Come along" Applesong said, oblivious to the tension.

Applesong spread herbs over the open wound gently, trying not to further hurt the she-cat. "What happened dear?" she asked gently, not prying. Her tail flicked calmly.
