Place in plot: She knows that Mathias is depressed and is trying to help him get out of it. Prolly fails :P
Family?: None- she was abandoned at a young age where nobody was there for her. Looks: Rain is rather tall and pale, and has jet-black hair and golden eyes. However, she doesn't drink blood, only occasional sips every fortnight or so, when she loses control. She thinks that this is why people stay away from her, and tries to convince them that she's safe to be with, but they seem to ignore her, which makes her quite antisocial.
