Thanks, Det, Whit, all. So that settles it. I can view the first and the third, not the second at all, no matter what. Dx Can everyone copy & paste their posts from the second page onto here? I'm so sorry for putting everyone through all this trouble, really. DXXX

((Bubbles? :O Yeah, I'm totally copying you guys with this double parentheses thing. I hardly know a thing about RPing, but this sounds fun. And thus. I will post a bio and just write. Let me know if I'm not doing something right. x3)) Name- Elijah (Eli, Jijah) Kershaw Age- 16 Gender- Male Personality- Elijah is usually quiet and timid, afraid to challenge those bigger than him. He longs to be bigger and stronger, to have some way to make life better for his family. He is incredibly pas.sionate about his family and breaks out of his fear to protect them any way he can if they are threatened. He wants the best for his family and is afraid of letting them down. Looks- Something like this. Eli is very small for his age - only 5'1" - and in the midst of poverty has found work as a chimney sweep (more info below). He has blond hair, freckled cheeks, and dull gray eyes that are usually blended together with soot. He always has various scrapes, scabs and burns, some worse than others. Some come from his job, some from his abusive boss. Status/Cla.ss- Eli and his family are very much in poverty. His father has died of disease and his mother is barely strong enough to stand, let alone to find any sort of job. Eli has three little sisters: Patience (10), Lissa (6) and Catherine (3 1/2). (Catherine calls Eli "Jijah" and Eli calls her "Catty.") The three girls sell small things like roses on the streets, which worries Eli to no end. Eli himself is, as stated before, a chimney sweep. He works with 7 other boys (even though this exceeds the legal limit) for a sly and cruel man that works them hard for little pay, sometimes docking them for false reasons. Still, Eli's small income is the main source for his family to scrape by on. Eli's family lives crowded in a single room with three other families, in an even more crowded part of the city. He often finds himself in the homes of the wealthy due to his work. Dress - Wears the same thin, worn shirt and trousers all the time, along with a patched sweep's cap. They are filthy as he rarely has a chance to even rinse them out with water. He usually carries his chimney brush on the chance that someone will see him and he can work for a bit of extra money.

Dear Diary, I arrived in the town I wrote about weeks ago today. The weather was sweltering hot and I debated removing my tunic all day. I wasn't able to sell much today. Likely because of this horrid heat. I am hopefull that tomorrow will bring more customers to my cart, but if this heat persists through tomorrow that seems unlikely. A carrage pas.sed me in town not long after I'd arrived and set up shop. I'd be willing to hazard a guess that the owner of said carrage were some sort of nobility. Possibly a duke or a lord? The night is getting on now and I'm beginning to run low on lamp oil, so I shall have to leave off there for the night. If tomorrow is as slow as today, I'll likely find time to write between customers. As little as I like this heat, it does make for warmer nights. A fact I'm thankful for. - Signed Frederick ((Dear Diary, This thread hates Froggeh so much. :c It makes me a sad Lath. Also, The Plagues/Let My People Go is really really catchy. Like wow. - Signed Googly Foogly Sure thing, Froggeh. c: All you missed from me was my character post though. xD))

Dear Diary, Today I went for a carriage ride with mother. Of course, as usual it was absolutely horrible. It was a very hot day today, so of course I got to spend it bundled up in layers of dresses and shawls. The carriage was hot and musty, and honestly the only good that came from it was that I was allowed to see the country side. The scenery was beautiful, but I still wished I could have been riding Cloud Dancer (my horse in case you didn’t know, Diary). But mother insisted and so here I am, writing in my diary in a stuffy enclosed space rather than enjoying the fresh country air. I ought to tell mother that Mr. Phillips (A famous doctor) has recently said that breathing air that comes not from the cities, but from out in the country-side where the air is fresh is much, much better for you. Well, I’ve said my piece and mother tells me that I must get my nose out of a book long enough to speak to her about my upcoming marriage to John Smithson. Yours, Rowena ript'">

((Froggies blow bubbles! ;D
Name- Frederick Ashdown
Age- 16
Gender- Male
Personality- Cheerful enough, sarcastic and prone to snapping at people. Overly protective of his wares and money, and honest to the point of being brutal (lol. we'll see how long I can keep that up :B)
Looks- Brown hair that goes down to the nape of his neck and flops into his face, silver eyes, freckled from all the sun he gets... all around he looks sort of rough at the edges and is obviously a traveller at first glance.
Status/Cla.ss- Lower middleclas.s/peasant, I think. Traveling merchant/peddler and all.
Dress- A mix of new clothing and clothing sliding towards 'rags.' Loose gray breaches, an off-white shirt frayed at the edges and patched in a few places, and a light brown tunic. He also has a faded plum colored hat he wear during cold weather, along with a rough, worn leather jacket. I imagine that he hides a knife somewhere on his person, in case of thieves and all.
Be warned. I've been firmly planted in the medieval ages for years now. o_o Never done Victorian before. So I may keep straying into the dark ages frame of mind.))

Dear Diary, I found out that my brother wanted to be a peasant, though he still wants to be wealthy. It confuses me. I might need to go soon. Mother wants me to clean up and go downstairs for supper. She's forcing me to get married, I'm not rady yet. No man has fell inlove with me yet. I'll never find some one. My mother is making me mad. Se's not understanding want I need or want. I don't need to get married yet. I think it's wrong of her to tell me to do things like that. Well, mother's calling for me. Goodbye Dairy. I shall come back after supper. -Penelope Dear Journal, It's me again. William Sanders. Today, I'm leaving the palace and live my life as a peasant. I know, I know, why must I want to be a peasant, when I'm very wealthy. I've been poor all my life. Now that I'm wealthy, I want to choose to be a peasant. I don't have to be one, I want to be one. I must go now. Goodbye Journal. Goodbye. ~William

Dear Journal, Today was tiring. After working the fields, hoeing peas and vegetables, my hands are beginning to blister. My mother is pestering to choose a gal and settle down, but I refuse. I do not love them, I argue, I'm sure the young ladies feel the same, I say. But nothing works. Many girls have tried to capture my attention, but I feel more at home reading the few books and newspapers I can get my callused hands on. But I know I must make a choice soon, though I shall delay it for as long as I can. One of my best friends, James, spotted me sitting under a tree with this, and he laughed at me, calling me a girl. I pay no heed to such things, my family is on my mind. They are depending on a good harvest to get them through a harsh winter. My mother is a bitter lady, after my father died, she took over the household, and despises those who live in the palace, free of worries and pressing matters. I plan on getting a job working for the royal family, in their gardens. Maybe then I'd get paid enough to make my mother smile. Until another time, your author, ~Nathaniel Walters

(( He sounds so educated for a peasant....maybe I'll say that when his dad was alive, working as a merchant, they put a lot of money towards him so that he can write like that...only one in the family that is educated. Yes, I will do that. -nods- Thank you, Tri. <3))

Dear Diary, I am very frustrated with mother. I told her my head hurt while we were holding our conversation about my marriage, but her only answer was that I was only complaining and I ought to think harder about the future. ‘Be more thoughtful Wena dear, think about the opportunity,’ she had trilled in her ridiculously high-pitched voice. ‘You have captured the heart of John Smithson.’ I just murmured a sorry and turned away, and luckily my mother decided to stop pressing the issue further. I write this after the ride, so after a while we found ourselves by the peasants’ fields. And I saw the most shocking sight! A peasant boy reading! The thought! Of course, I now sound like mother and I must remind myself to not be so prejudiced. But honestly, I was surprised. Where would a peasant boy learn to read? But my question remains unanswered for now. Perhaps I will seek him out again and ask him. Yours, Rowena

Dear Diary, I was walking through town with my brother. I saw a boy reading. He seemed smarter then any peasant. I thought he was cute, but not too much intrest. Atleast I don't think so....... William sighed at me, as I sighed back. I came home, my mother, of course, asked me if I met a guy I wanted to marry. I sighed and shook my head. Then, I went to my bedroom and layed down. Goodbye now. ~Penelope
