Alcarié tried not to bristle in anger, and fear. Something about this she-cat, though she was female, made him sure that she could fight, and probably win if it became a battle. Flicking his tail, he did not allow his head to drop any or show his fear at the prospect of any cat drawing blood. "Greetings Hawkmask, I mean no harm to you or any one in this place." He told her, keeping his voice calm and collected. "I'v heard stories about you clan cats, and promise you that if this was not some sort of emergency I would stay far from this place." He told her, placing a comforting paw on the terrified kit. Placing his nose under Luoke's side he pushed the whimpering kit forward gently, though not far enough from him that if attacked he could not reach him. "This kit has been hurt, and i'v heard you have a cat that might be able to help him. Why would I risk the life of my son for no reason?" He lied about to son part, but they did not need to know that. "I will not fight, so if you take care of him I will lay down here and let you kill me if you wish it." He met her eyes, dead serious. He'd lived as much of life as he'd ever wanted to, yet Luoke had not and if not helped he would die. "Are you really cruel enough to let a kit die?" He asked.

Hawkmask narrowed her eyes at the older tom. "I am not a killer. The do not kill if not given a good reason." Then looking to Luoke she purred. "Come with me little one. I shall take you to our medicine cat." Her eyes soft as fur. She smiled softy letting him know she wasn't going to hurt him. "As soon as I take him to the medicine cat I will take you to our leader to explain the situation."

Alcarié kept his fur from bristling, not wanting to let the kit be alone in this strange place. Swallowing his fear, he nodded and sat down, watching with defeated eyes as Luoke limped over to the she-cat. In a way it felt like he was losing the only cat he really cared about to a bunch of savages. "Alright, just make sure he does not get hurt." He meowed calmly, letting none of his inter turmoil show. Watching like a hawk as Luoke tipped his head back and asked with his eyes if it was alright. "Go on little one, Hawkmask will take care of you." I hope. He added in his mind. But she seemed kind enough towards the kit. Tail quivering with all of the new scents and sounds of the new cats, Luoke itched to hide behind Alcarié for protection. But the prospect of losing the pain in his sprained paw won over. Looking down at the blood that now coated his fur, he tried to lick it, only to cause a agonizing jolt. He refused to tell his father figure that the paw was broke, though he pretty well knew it from the odd scrapping sensation inside his paw the memory of his last broken bone. Looking up at the she-cat, Hawkmask, with large soulful eyes, he wished his mother was here to comfort him. "Your not going to eat me are you?" He asked in a scared tone, fur fluffing up. "Like those foxes ate momma."

Hawkmask looked at the kit with wide horrified eyes. "E-eaten? That must have been terrifying. I'm sorry of your mother. And no I will not eat you. I don't eat other cats." laying her tail lightly on his shoulder she tried to comfort him. When they got to the medicine cats den she meowed out "Fernseed? Nightpaw? Gentlepaw? Are either of you here?" poking her head in she popped back out offering the younger one to go first. "Go on. None of us will hurt you. But be careful. There are some herbs in there that are fowl to the taste. So don't eat anything unless given it."

ooc; That would be Great Stray! Nightpaw poked her black head out of the den, she drank in the scent of the cats that stood near her. "Hi Hawkmask.... uhh... Who is with you?" she asked confused. Her sightless blue eyes wide. "Are there loners in the camp?" She flicked her tail then padded out of the den.

Luoke sniffed the air coming from the den curiously, surprised at all the different scents coming from such a tiny place. "No need to be sorry miss." He meowed softly, looking over his shoulder at Hawkmask, a small smile on his face. "Alcarié takes good care of me now." He finished, taking a limping step forward, trying not to hiss in pain as his paw jolted. He nearly fell on his backside as another head poked form the den, and strangled yip bursting from his mouth. He'd thought there were a lot of cats already, but more seemed to be popping out of know where. Looking at the new cat, his eyes stretched wide as he noticed her sightless ones. "Are you blind?" He asked curiously. He chose to ignore the loners comment.

ooc; Just finished editing my first post on page 11, I needed to keep track of mah characters better... BIC: She narrowed her eyes. "Yes.... I am . " she meowed then tasted the air. "But I can still do things. Are you hurt?" She circled him then sat down, her black pelt pad little snow flakes on it. She shook them off. The breeze was running swiftly through her fur. "Hurry..."

"If I wasn't, Alcarié would not have brought me to such a hostile place." He commented sharply, lifting his blood soaked paw. He was not sure why, but this place, all these cats with the scent of blood on their fur, gave him the creeps. He itched to bolt through the forest and back to the safety of the two-leg dwellings and take his chances with the rouges there. At least they did not smell like death. Without thinking he backed up, away from the cold she-cat and sat back beside Hawkmask, not finding her near as hostile at the blind one. "But I don't need your help, your no older then I am." He snapped, hating his tiny size that got him the nickname 'Kit' from Alcarié. He'd claw anyone else who called him that.

With a great yawn, Fernseed stretched in her moss bed. Something, or some cats call had awoken her, and she was anything but surprised. Though, I got the most sleep of late last night, she thought gleefully. Standing smoothly, Fernseed arched her back and shivered with pleasure at the sensation of loose muscles. Swiping the air before her with a raised forepaw she switched to do the other, and when that routine was done, she kicked out her back legs. Feeling more limber than yesterday or even further back than that, Fernseed felt her face soften into a pleasant look, and her eyes glowed with the warming personality that she always held but had escaped from during the hard trials that the clan had been through of late. Padding into the main part of the medicine den, Fernseed sniffed and curiously perked her ears towards the new scent of cat. It wasn’t very strong, as if it could not, or had not the time to, decide what the cats individual scent would hold. Must be a kit, she thought to herself. When she caught sight of the kit, though, Fernseed became breathless. Thin and leggy were the only words that came to her mind, which seemed to have stopped functioning properly at the moment because he was all she could think about. Her clan was lethally thin, but this tom was emaciated it seemed. As he swayed into the den ribs showed, back bones rose and fell like hills, and one of his forepaws looked atrociously swollen, like a pregnant queen about to kit. Glancing at Nightpaw, who was leading the kit into the den, she again noted the difference in height and weight. StarClan wills it, I hope he does have worms or worse. Brushing through the entrance between her den and the medicine den, Fernseed asked, “Nightpaw, can you smell his pain-scent?” Directly looking at the blind apprentice Fernseed didn’t feel awkward around her anymore and that pleased Fernseed. “Would you get him a poppy seed,” she ordered, but added kindly, “Please?”

Blinking as yet another cat padded from the den, Luoke wondered just how many would pop out of such a small hole. Whiskers twitching in slight humor, he almost instantly like this she-cat. Though he was probably not the best judge in character, bright and gentle seemed to fit her, which reminded him a lot of his mother. Maybe that was the connection. He noticed her horrified look as she gazed at him though, and he looked at the ground, ashamed from some unknown reason. Mostly he brushed it off when cats gave him that look, but it all came back to the point that she reminded him way to much of his deceased mother. She'd probably scold him severely while licking his pelt clean until he probably had no hair left. "Poppy seed?" He asked himself, wondering again if they really were not going to kill him.

Looking more closely at the young tom, Fernseed took in his sharp violet eyes and gray hued pelt. He looked as if the stars themselves had come down and swarmed him in shimmering silvers and grays, he is absolutely handsome for a young one. She must have been looking harder than she thought because the tom looked sullenly at his paws before asking in a worried tone, “Poppy seeds?” Gentling her ex pression, and suppressing her inset shock at his appearance, Fernseed purred a warming laugh. “You should worried…little one, no cat here will eat you,” she mewed smoothly, and teased, “But be ware those cats of CaveClan, they like kits small and leggy.” Realizing that he might spook more than a normal clan kit, for he looked like no kit a clan cat would have, Fernseed quickly informed, “Poppy seeds are plants around the territories, and they relieve pain and help you sleep through troubled nights.” Padding up to the little one she mewed to Hawkmask, “Thank you for escorting such an honored guest.” Before either could deny he was an honored guest, Fernseed scrutinized the little tom with a thorough once over. “StarClan wills me to heal any and all cats, no matter where they are from. So tell me, what is your name, and how badly do you think that paw is hurt?” Fernseed knew her opal eyes were tinged with fear because she knew that his paw was more swollen than a mere sprain.

Having trained in battle with Falconwing for the whole morning, Redpaw felt like he couldn’t even make it back to the clan clearing. His paws felt like kit legs again, and from nose to tail tip he was sore. My mentor is a wonderful teacher. She is more powerful than any other she-cat I have ever met; too bad she wasn’t a tom though. His fiery, red-orange pelt was damp from sweat and snow, and he shivered slightly. When he reached the camp entrance, Redpaw dashed for the apprentice den, not caring if any other apprentice was there or not. “All I want to do is sleep until the next moon!” he yowled gruffly to himself. Then he realized that the next Gathering was, indeed, tomorrow. Wow, where did all of the days go, he wondered. OoC: Sorry, I forgot about him Stray. ^.^’ My bad. BiC When Cheetahwind kept giving her the silent shoulder, Patchpelt huffed and turned away from him. Two can play that game, she thought angrily. Dashing through the forest, slipping on the slushy ground, Patchpelt finally felt alone. Glancing around, the calico she-cat whispered. “Larkwing?” No cat answered her, so she called out a bit louder, “Larkwing, are you here?” Pausing, Patchpelt determined she would give the other cat some time. I wonder how long it takes for a StarClan cat to travel. Patchpelt decided she would ask when Larkwing next appeared. Meanwhile, Mistsoul started to feel the world come back to her. The feeling of one soul slipped from her clawed grasp, and she knew that Silentheart and she should get back to camp. But with her renewed feelings, Mistsoul didn’t mind. She knew that Silentheart would be there for her. “Let us get back to camp before the others think a monster got us.”

Tipping his head to the side, Luoke watched the interaction between the two-she cats with interest. He'd never seen two cats who were not related be so calm and friendly. Was this the way of the clans? He thought curiously. "Thank you for escorting such an honored guest." He'd never been called anything like that before, puny and weak sure. He flushed under his fur, muttering how he was not. "My names Luoke. As for my paw," He looked down at the oddly hanging limb with annoyance. "I think it's broke, from the odd scrapping feeling it gives off when it moves." He mused, rather light heartedly. "Would not be the first time, with my cursed weak bones, but at least I tend to heal fast." Shrugging nonchalantly, he really hoped her eyes did not tell a whole other story.

((Thats alright (: )) Padding back into camp after Redpaw, Falconwing huffed as the chilling wind ruffled her fur the wrong direction. Breath leaving her mouth in puffs of shimmering white, the deputy watched as her apprentice disappeared into the apprentices den. He'll make a good warrior, he's strong and willed. She ached a bit from all the training, and having been buffeted every which way by her apprentice, but was happy he seemed to be adjusting well to clan life. A new scent, one she did not recognize caught her attention. Glancing around, she nearly yowled in surprise as a pelt she did not recognize sat only a few tail lengths from her. Great Starclan! I'm so out of it I can't even tell when a loner enters the camp. She thought furiously, stalking over so she could look the tom in the face. "What are you doing in Iceclan camp?" She demanded, trying not to shiver under his cold look. "My kit has been hurt, and I knew you clan cats could perhaps help him. He's with, er, the blind one and gentle one." He meowed, clearly flustered. She tried not to laugh, letting herself relax slightly. He clearly was not here to hurt any cat, and was just worried for a kit's safety. That alone put him on her good side. "Well, we can't have you sitting around here listening in on everything we say." She beckoned him to follow her with a flick of her tail. "Come, you need to speak with Eagelstar." Bounding over to her leaders den, looking back to make sure ht loner was following, she poked her head into the den. "Eagelstar. Theres a loner here, what should we do?" She asked.

ooc; 0-0 That is alot of reading... Nightpaw let out a long hiss, Rainfeather had told her who her mother was. Blackfang. Anger surged through her, "Well at least I am smarter that you!" then she padded off into the medicine cat den, desperate not to walk into something on her way in. When Fernseed asked her the question, she answered"Yes I can. He was just being a mouse-brain so I thought I would act like him!" She padded into the den and dropped 3 poppy seeds at Fernseed's paws. This is really bugging me!! I am even starting to act like Blackfang! Nightpaw shook her head, what if I will never be the same? "Yes Patchpelrt, I am here." she re-appeared beside her. "I am here to tell you that everything will be fine. Have Faith in your warrior ancestors." She meowed then stared off into space, her head ringed with the eary sound of monsters. Everything will be okay...

Hawkmask nodded to Fernseed in respect. "I must head off to see Eaglestar and tell her about the situation. We have two loners here. He is not alone." With another nod she smiled at Luoke and headed off to Alcarie. He better still be there.
