Luoke nodded, keeping his paw off the ground and settling a little deeper into the nest. He wished he had a small stick or something to stick between his teeth to keep from yowling with pain as she seemed to think he would do. In truth he was not all that brave, but the tiny cat did not want to seem like a whimpering kit next to these m*censored*ive silent warriors. I wish mother was here to curl up beside me. He thought sadly, trying not to remember the blood and the wails as the fox attacked. I know I sound young and pathetic thinking that, and I really don't care. Sighing quietly, he closed his eyes to hide the tears that made them swirl. "I'm really when ever you are." He whispered.

Glancing over to where Luoke disappeared into the den with the she-cat that reeked of herbs, Alcarié shuffled his large paws back and forth, stopping himself from bolting over and protecting him from what ever was going on. I cannot believe i'm so whipped by a kit. He thought in slight humor. When I found the kit beside his family I was only going to keep him long enough to teach to hunt then leave him on his own. I'v always been a bit of a loner. He glanced around for a second, trying not to shiver at the close proximity of all the cats. But one look in those blind looking eyes and I was hooked. He was sweet and gentle, not like a loner should be and with his weakness I could not leave him on his own to die. And I'm not about to leave him now. Huffing slightly, he looked over to Brightleaf. "Your medicine cat, as you call them, is she pretty easy on kits?" He asked, slightly worried.

Padding back towards camp, his shoulder bleeding slightly where he'd scrapped it on a abnormally jutting rock, Sunflare was beaming with pride. Poisonpaw, even with her damaged limb, had nearly beaten him to a pulp. Even thought he was not as strong as fighter as he was a hunter, he could deliver a good blow or two. But Poisonpaw was fast and she never seemed to give up, making her formidable. And her sheer aggressiveness gave her a heck of a advantage. "You'll be a warrior before you know it Poisonpaw. You did excellent during training. Keep going this way and you won't have to worry about Shatteredpaw becoming a warrior before you." He meowed happily, leaning over to give his shoulder a lick. It was already crusted over, he did not need to see Fernseed, she seemed busy enough.

Padding from the warriors den after a quick nap, Falconwing looked around the camp for the patrol she had organized. She was beginning to find the job as deputy easier, knowing which cats did what the best and who worked well with who. Always thinking of the patrols before she slept, it made everything much less difficult. Looking around, she was glad that the loner, Alcarié was not creating and trouble and the two newest she-cats seemed to be getting along with clan life well. She looked around for a certain black pelt though, and her heart fell as she did not see Swiftdarkness among the cats. She missed the closeness they once shared before everything happened, and prayed to Starclan that Midnightpaw's death did not cause some sort of rift. The very thought of losing her mate sent shivers of dread through her, almost rattling her heart. Trying not to think of such thoughts, and knowing next time she saw him she'd have a talk, the deputy padded over to Kestrelheart and smiled slightly. "Good afternoon Kestrelheart." She meowed. "Would you mind to lead a border patrol along the nearest clans boarders?" She meowed, hating to order any cat around. "Take Hawkmask and Bluepaw with you, it would be good for Bluepaw to see more of the territory and really explore it." She told him lightly, then padded off towards the next cats she'd like to patrol. Along the way she almost ran flat out into Shadowpaw, who had bounded up to her with his unlimited energy. "Hey mother," He asked, "Mind to send me on a patrol? Patchpelt as disappeared again, and i'm bored." Falconwing felt sorry for her son, knowing Patchpelt always seemed to leave her apprentice behind, but she could not fault Patchpelt for it. She was still young and had things to learn. "Of course, come along and i'll place you in a hunting patrol." Slinking over to Berrypool, and Blazewing the she-cat dipped her head slightly. "I'd like you two to go on a hunting patrol, take Shadowpaw with you and," She looked around, and uneasily spotted Copperfire. She still did not trust that cat. "Copperfire." Grinning at Shadowpaw, she turned towards the camp entrance, wanting to be alone for a bit.

Watching Mistsoul with Cardinalkit, Silentheart could not help but smile slightly, glad she seemed at ease with some cat. It hurt him to watch her awkwardly try and be a warrior, when it almost seemed like, to him, she would love nothing more then to be a medicine cat again. He cared for her, sure. Probably more then he should, but she seemed more interested in healing then anything else, and he was not going to try and change that. Sighing, he wondered where Patchpelt was and hoped she was alright. He stilled cared her her, but not in the same way as Cheetahwind did though. Shaking his head to rid himself of the troubling thoughts, ones he really hated thinking of, Silentheart glanced over when Falconwing called his new name. The mere mention of Copperfire made him cringe. Falconwing still seemed the distrust him, even hate him from the look in her eyes, and he itched to wail like a kit, missing the easy way it used to be. All these lies and mistrust was getting to his head. Padding slowly over, he nodded as she told him he was going on patrol.

ooc; 0-0, Wow stray :p

Brightleaf looked at Alcarié, "Yes, she is," she meowed, "But sometimes she gets frustrated by them." She pointed out, she flicked her tail to the nursery, "Featherkit is a kit you should keep Luoke away from, Cardinalkit, another kit, got a nasty scratch from her." she warned, "But as long as Luoke stay out of her way... he should be Fine." she meowed.

Poisonpaw looked at her mentor, basking in his praise, "Thank you Sunflare." she meowed, " Could I go back to the camp now?" she asked, "I think it has been enough for my foot..." she meowed, then sat there waiting for an answer, flicking her black and white tail back and fourth.

((I got a little carried away, *blushes* Hopefully it won't happen again.))

Alcarié chuckled slightly, still on edge. "Featherkit sounds like a pawful. I'll be sure to Keep Luoke away from her claws." He mused, getting up to pace anxiously. Perhaps I can hunt, at least it will give me something to do with my paws. He looked towards the den. Then again I really don't want to leave Luoke alone, and I don't know this territory. Blast it all! He cursed, sitting back down ungracefully. "Then again Luoke can handle himself, not matter how weak he looks." He finished. "What is this Starclan cats seem to go on about? Is it some kit story?"

Sunflare nodded, getting up and padding back towards the camp, glad when he could finally lay down in his soft nest before next patrol. "Lets not weak your paw out to much, more training tomorrow, but I think we'll do some hunting practice. Your well enough with fighting other cats, but you tend to put to much weight on your paws." He grinned cheekily. "But that can wait." Spotting the camp entrance, he flicked his tail towards the small fresh-kill pile. "You probably need to eat something then rest.

Hawkmask padded out of the medicine cats den and headed to Falconwing. "Hello Falconwing how are you?" she asked nodding her head in respect. "I hope I'm not intruding on anything."

ooc; NO!! Lol, it is okay Stray, I actually enjoy reading it!

Brightleaf stared at him in shock "A kit's story!" she spat repeating him, "It is what holds all the Clans together, its.." she paused and let her neck fur lie flat again. "StarClan is all the clan cats that fall dead, they go to StarClan you see. StarClan also communicates with Our medicine cats and sometimes our leaders, that is how our leaders get there nine lives." she finished, Then looked at the loner, waiting to see his next ex
pression.

Poisonpaw nodded and grabbed a scrawny vole from the pile.

OoC: Stray, I love your posts! They are really inspiring, and I hope that I can compete with them. I try my best to write as creatively as you, and Eklipse! Oh, and Eklipse, a senior warrior is just an older warrior. Patchpelt looks up to all of the warriors because she is the youngest, about. =) I hope that helps.

((I actually feel the same about your posts Siri, their so detailed and you can almost feel what your characters are feeling. Amazing really. I'm glad Eklipse, it's good to know someone reads those 30 minutes worth of typing.))

Falconwing smiled towards Hawkmask. "Oh no! Your not intruding on anything. I'm just organizing patrols. Or at least trying." She muttered the last part darkly, still a little self conscious about the whole being deputy and being able to order cats around. All except Eaglestar. "I'm fine, better then i'v been in a long while." The calico she-cat meowed happily, the sparkle in her eyes back after losing Midnightpaw. I would never wish any cat that sort of pain. First Silentheart then her. A slight shiver ran up her spine, forcing her to claw into the ground. Looking back at Hawkmask, she suddenly realized she did not know the she-cat very well. A shame really, she seems kind. And as deputy I'd better learn to start getting along with every cat. Particularly if something catastrophic happens to Eaglestar. Pray Starclan it does not! "How are you Hawkmask? I'v not seen a lot of you." Tipping her head to the side, she waited for a response.

Alcarié blinked a few times at her words, taking a quick step back at her sudden rage in case she decided to try and take a chunk out of his ear. This Starclan sounds like some sort of deity these cats worship. Unhealthy if you ask me. No cat should look to something dead for all their answers and to look after them. Only their claws, wits, and friends can do that. He shook his head slightly, deciding not to say anything to upset the she-cat any more. "Alright alright, I did not know it was such a touchy subject." He meowed lightly, a small smile playing on his muzzle. "So their the ones who you all tends to worship, who you look to for support?" He asked, suddenly curious as to how much these cats seemed to like this 'Starclan.'

Hawkmask nodded. "I'm good. I'm not really noticed cause like Blackfeather we're both rather quiet. But I will talk to someone occasionally." noticing her dark tone Hawkmask purred."You're doing a wonderful job as deputy." laying her tail across her shoulders she smiled re*censored*uringly.

I just wanted to tell you guys.

ooc; Yea, I do Stray!!, and the epic thing about me reading those 30 min of typing is I read all the details!! And don't skim through them!!

Brightleaf sat down beside Alcarié, I did get a little worked up there... She thought to herself, then turned to his yellow gaze,. "Yes, StarClan, is what makes The Clans us. Our leader, Eaglestar has received 9 live from them, so that she can live her life of Clan leadership to the fullest." She finished, then looked at her black paws. "If we didn't have StarClan, we would  be just a group of loners and rouges." She explained, her light silver tail flicked back and fourth, "Medicine cats also have special healing powers.... and connect with StarClan." She meowed, "They hold Secrets Eaglestar doesn't even know."

Alcarié tipped his head to the side slightly, still confused. And yet the sheer faith the cats seemed to put into Starclan was interesting and something to be looked up to. But nine lives? Cats did not really get nine lives, did they? The very thought of being able to die nine times was beyond amazing, and these Starclan cats could grant it. Perhaps the power these cats held was what made the clan follow them. But it still seemed more of a kit's tale to the loner, he'd never heard of spirits talking to any cats, and did not believe they could. But he would not say anything of the such. "Nine lives eh? So being leader is worth it, to rule cats and have everyone look up to you." He grinned to himself. "I must agree with the special healing powers, after all if a loner hears about something like that then it really must be something." He mused, lifting one paw and cleaning out his sharp claws, still lost in thought. "But what about you Brightleaf? Were you born in this clan?" He asked.

Falconwing nodded, touched by the faith the she-cat had in her abilities as deputy. "I'm glad, we need more cats like you." She meowed happily, tail twitching. "Someone who is sweet yet knows how to hold their tongue and not create a ruckus." She told Hawkmask, getting to her paws and stretching. "Would you mind to lead a patrol around the borders?" She asked hopefully. "Any cat will do, as long as they know what their doing." She stopped and thought for a second. "And perhaps one of them be a apprentice, they need to get out of camp a little more." Nodding again, the deputy padded over to Shadowpaw once more and licked his ear, asking if he wanted to hunt with her. She missed being so close to her kits, and decided she wanted to be a larger part of their lives, even if she was deputy now.

With a brief nod to Luoke, Fernseed scampered around her den another time, looking for some bark. Alder bark would be the best, she thought to herself. Spotting her stash, which was getting too low for her comfort, Fernseed nabbed a thick, smooth piece and brought it back to Luoke. “Take this,” she mewed as she plopped it down in front of him, “Bite into that instead of your tongue.” Placing her deep silver-gray paw on him uninjured wrist, Fernseed looked at him with solemn jade eyes, “I really hope this hurts for only a moment.” Fernseed had practice now, and on one of her trips to the other medicine cats, she had gotten more information from the TreeClan medicine cat. I really hope that this helps, she silently prayed to StarClan. The moment the words left her mind, Fernseed could feel the presence of other cats with her, even if she couldn’t see them. Their outer most feelings were courage, strength, and faith. These emotions flared through her, and Fernseed suddenly knew what she had to do. Placing her right forepaw hovering over the swollen lump, were the two bones where overlapping, she then did a quick pull with her mouth on his toes, and when the bones stretched straight, Fernseed gently placed her paw on the top la
yer of fur so that the bones couldn’t go back to their wrong place. The medicine cats of StarClan left her slowly, and Fernseed felt a sort of emptiness in her that she hadn’t even known they had filled. What am I missing? she wondered, but most of her thoughts were on Luoke. I know that this still hurt, but StarClan guided me into an easier method. Less pain came from this technique. Fernseed put in a mental note to teach this to her apprentices’ and the other medicine cats, next time she met with them under the crescent moon. Quickly smoothing the goldenrod poultice and broom bud juice onto the already less swollen paw, Fernseed asked nervously, “Are you still with me?” The memory of poor Poisonoaw fainting was still fresh in her mind. “Those two seeds on that leaf,” flicking her tail to the leaf next to his side, “Will help with the pain.” Finally finishing with chervil leaves, to keep infection gone, Fernseed left his paw to heal itself. Her eyes sparkled with tears as she mewed, “Move that paw a little as possible, I will get you whatever you need. So don’t hesitate to ask.” Sniffing, Fernseed couldn’t believe she was the one crying, but she couldn’t help it. I want to heal my clan, not hurt them. I am going to get you some prey to eat though, so please excuse me.” Dashing from the den, Fernseed felt burdened again by the rough fixing of broken bones. I’m not meant to do this!

The night sky was thick with gray storm clouds and Eaglestar knew that more snow would come. She could taste it on her tongue. I need to name these new clan cats, she thought to herself. Bounding to the Highrock, Eaglestar bunched her powerful legs, and leapt to the top on the great rocks. “All cats old enough to catch their own prey gather beneath the Highrock for a clan meeting.” Feeling life flow through her, even as death seemed right on her clan’s tail, Eaglestar watched all of her clan mates come forward. Glancing at the camp entrance, she saw Swiftdarkness trot straight to the Highrock and sit beside Patchpelt, who had come from the fresh-kill pile. The array of pelt colors became apparent as she looked down at them. What a beautiful clan, she thought, no clan has ever been better. Though IceClan’s prey seems to have vanished, we still prosper with the amount of warriors!” Fiercely proud, Eaglestar continued, “And we have some loners that will join with us.” Gazing down at Phantasme, Robin, and Alcarié, Eaglestar wondered about their warrior names. “Alcarié, with a pelt like the night and eyes like the sun, you seem silent and willful, from this time on you will be known as Panthergaze.” Looking back at Phantasme and Robin, she meowed, “I will watch you both some more, to see if you are worthy of a warrior name.” Looking back at her clan with warm red eyes, Eaglestar yowled, “That is all, so let us greet our new clan mate! Panthergaze!I will have to go see Luoke, and give him an apprentice name along with a mentor.

OoC: Um, Det, what do you want their names to be?

BiC

Shivering from excitement, Patchpelt could hardly sit still enough for the naming of the loners. I can’t wait until Rainfeather teaches me this new hunting move! Remembering her apprenticeship, Patchpelt flushed. She has never been a good hunter, too loud on her paws. This will change it though! I just know it. Glancing around, Patchpelt saw Shadowpaw. A twinge of guilt wiggled through her. She was not meant to be a mentor. I am only two moons a warrior; I don’t think I was ready for this. Jumping when Eaglestar roared like a cat from LionClan, the calico she-cat yowled along with her, chanting, “Panthergaze! Panthergaze!” Peering around, she noticed that all the clan cats were distracted, so she slipped over to her apprentice and whispered in his ear, “Let’s get to the Basking Rocks.” Catching Rainfeather’s blue eyed gaze, Patchpelt flicked her tail in a come on motion. Graypaw seemed like he saw the motion too, so Patchpelt looked around her Littlepaw and Lostfoot. Seeing the two looking at her, she flicked her ear at the entrance. I think it’s time we get moving.

Luoke picked up the bark between his teeth as she placed a paw over the spot where the bones had snapped. Even at the slight touch pain flared through the limb as if it were fire, hot and scorching, eating it's way through the muscles until he was afraid nothing would be left. Closing his eyes to hide the distress he knew must be swimming in them, he mentally wondered how well Fernseed was holding up. She did not seem like she really wanted to do this, to cause more pain. But he had faith in her, and knew if any cat could help him it would be the Iceclan medicine cat. About to tell her so he opened his mouth to speak, not realizing she was about to pull on his paw. Of course at the same moment the bark left his mouth so he could talk a bolt of agony so great it nearly knocked him into blackness ran up his injured limb and seemed to swamp his very being. Unable to help himself the tiny cat yowled at the top of his lungs, the scream ripping from his throat and hurt even his own ears. He knew it would hurt, a lot. But this was unimaginable, agony in new form making his head swim and a dizzying darkness flash across his eyes. Jerking away from her grasp, Luoke reared up on his hind legs for a split second in shock, mouth still open from his yowl, and toppled back to the ground in a heap of fur and flesh. Curling himself into a small ball, leg tucked safely away he whimpered a few times in shock and pain. The clan probably probably thinks i'm weak now, but I really don't care as long as this pain goes away. Finally opening his eyes tears streaked down his muzzle, leaving small creases in his already scraggly fur. Luoke finally realized that Fernseed was gone, which was probably for the better considering he did not want any cat to see him in such a pathetic state. Licking the swollen area, fresh waves of pain and nausea threatened to swamp him with every lick. But the motion was comforting, and at least he could still groom himself. A blessing.

Alcarié blinked in confusion as Eaglestar jumped up to the Highrock, wondering what she wanted with the entire clan. I really hope it's not to cast me and Luoke out, the kit needs help still. He shivered at the vision of him carrying the tiny cat through the forest with a bunch of wild cats on their tails. His jaw dropped slightly when she mentioned loners joining the clan, so they were not going to rid themselves of them, instead they would allow them to join! Eyes shinning with relief, and the fond thought of actually being accepted somewhere, Alcarié smiled brightly at Eaglestar. Listening to her words, he dipped his head as he received his new name, heart soaring with delight. We have a home now, I cannot believe it. But a dark thought raced though his happiness, cutting if off abruptly. I'v always been a loner, and with so many cats around I'm not really sure how well I can adapt to these new surroundings. And I'm not clan born, so how well will everyone accept the fact that a loner joined the clan? Shaking off those thoughts, Alcarié dipped his head to Eaglestar, keeping it there for a second before looking back up. When the others called out his name thought, he flushed slightly and kept his eyes down cast. No cat had ever acknowledged him. So I guess Alcarié is gone, thought I will always remember and honor the name my mother gave me. Now I am Panthergaze.

Shadowpaw watched from the background as Eaglestar yowled out the loners new name, lifting himself onto his tip toes every now and then so he could look over the taller cats heads. When the time came to yowl out the new warriors names he joined in happily, throwing his head back and calling with the best of them. Though he did not know the loner, if Eaglestar thought highly enough of him to let him stay in the camp, then that was enough fore the easy-going Shadowpaw. He watched though as Patchpelt padded up to him and said something about Basking Rocks, remembrance of the dreams came flashing back. Some of his joy dimmed, and he followed his mentor quietly. He felt to young, to unnerved about the whole thing. I wish I was just a apprentice like my sister again. He thoughts sadly, tail dragging the ground.

Hawkmask nodded and padded towards Panthergaze. "Panthergaze. Congradulations. You'll have to stay vigil tonight to watch over the clan from the entrance. Also...don't worry. You're not the first loner or rouge to come into the camp and become a warrior." purring with amusement she nodded and looked about. Padding up to Redpaw she nodded to him. "Would you like to go on a border partol today?" smilling at him she knew he had a disrespect for females in the sense he thought toms were stronger. But she knew he might of wanted to do something for sometime.

ooc; My last pst till that date :P I had a bet with one of my freinds that I cant go onto the computer till the 25th.

Bic;

Brightleaf looked up at her, sorrow flooded through her bright yellow eyes, "I was not born here. " she meowed, every word an effort. "I was Born in another Clan, CaveClan. Overtaken by a cruel leader, he killed the leader before him to become the source of Power for the Clan. He also killed my mother... I seen him do it you see, and " she swallowed, "He tried to kill me, but Lostfoot took me here." she explained, then shuffled her black paws, "I still miss the glow of the sunlight in the caves..." she confessed, "It never felt like home here... But StarClan spared me." She looked up at him, "Where were you born?"  she asked.

"Panthergaze!" Brightleaf called into the chanting, proud of the loner that will soon become a fill warrior of IceClan.

Rainfeather looked at the young warrior, "Good Idea," She agreed. " I am a little exited about this meeting.." she confessed.  Padding with Patchpelt Beside her, she and the other chosen cats walked toward basking rocks. "I... I could teach you the hunting move soon, maybe tomorrow night?" Rainfeather murmured to Patchpelt, I haven't had an apprentice for a bit. Maybe this will be fun. She flicked her feathery white tail. "Is that alright with you?" she asked, the moon was almost in its spot, they were doing well for the timing.  Her white spotted silver pelt was dappled in the frozen leaves that cling to some of the bushes branches. What will this meeting be like? And will it go well? She silently asked StarClan, Will I be a good member to this team? She looked to the stars, her ice blue eyes glowed like a pale fire of determination. Only time will tell...
