Lilac waved the rudeness away dissmissivly. "Oh, so you don't trust your little friend here? I'm not doing anything to you, and what's the point, eating my own relatives? We're basically the same, exept you have a long tail, and you're -er, smaller." Littlepaw sighed. "I'm the smallest in this group, and I'm the only one who trusts this cat? Oh, and I thought she could guide us through here. She saws she knows everything about here." Lilac sighed. "Wandering and hunting is the only things that keep me sane."

((This fails xD >Look down< )) Featherpaw nodded and padded back to the camp, I like his praise. she thought as she padded away. The soft snow was turning slowly to a slippery ice, making her pads hurt. After she had dropped off her crow she came back to Blackwolf and sat down, her eyes curious to see what her mentor would get her to do next. Nightfall breathed in the a tangy scent first, "Okay, you have Marigold..." she scented the other herbs, "Cat mint, and.... Parsley." she looked at her friend hopefully, even though she couldn't see her, I really hope I got them right.. she thought and sat down.

"Nice! You've got these ones down!" Gentleheart smiled. "Do you think we should bring these back to camp? You were in the storeroom last."

ooc; Yepp, that would be good to have the gathering two days, we epic failed when we actually skipped it last time...... Nightfall tried to remember the piles of herbs she sorted. "I think we should bring back the cat-mint, and the parsley," she meowed, "It is leafbare, so you never know when you will need cat-mint, and the parsley we just need to stalk up on. " Padding toward the twoleg den, she scented the air, little scents flowed through her, but she recognized the Burdock plant scent. Pulling the plant out with her teeth, she padded over to Gentleheart and set the plant down, "Okay, since Emeraldrain has had her kits, and Echovoice will be having them soon..." she continued, thinking out loud more than she ment to, "I think that Honey would be good to get," she meowed, "You know," she continued, "For there sore throats, if or when they get them." There is a oddly active bee nest outside the camp, maybe we could get some from there. she thought, as she stood up brushing her black fur against a leafless bush. Hopefully we can get there. >>Journeying cats<< Brightleaf stared at the large cat, This is different... Why is she calling us Longtails? she asked herself but knew she could not reach the answer with-ought asking her. "What are Longtails...?" she asked, her soft voice quivering, she kept her claws sheathed though, I don't want to start a fight with her.. she reminded herself, a fight with a m*censored*ive cat like this could possibly mean death for this whole group of cats, or if they even did get away, some nasty injuries that would cost them more than a few drops of blood. Plucking the image of her and her friends dead out of her mind, she kept her hectic yellow gaze attached to the large cat.

"Why you are, sillies!" Lilac smiled. "look at your tails, and look at mine! Different, no?" Littlepaw looked at the group. "At first, I had thought she was calling me a warrior!" She stared at the group, frustrated. "Can you not trust my judgement? She could be a good part of our team, nobody would try to hurt us..."

Shadowpaw padded stiffly towards Littlepaw and Lilac, forcing himself to keep from jumping away with a hiss of fear. He'd never seen a cat so large and powerful looking. Sure Cheetahwind was large, but Lilac would have scared Hawkstar and all of his clan back to their camps with their tails tucked with one piercing look. To be standing next to her was sending the much smaller apprentice's heart racing with terror. But what he hated more then his own fear was the fact that none of the other warriors were looking to Littlepaw's judgement with any sort of sense. It made him angry and he wanted to stand up for his smaller sister. "I agree with Littlepaw." He forced himself to meow, smiling towards his litter mate. It took a lot for him to sit with Lilac to his back. "Who's going to try and stop us with her on our side? I mean she seems friendly." He meet his mentors eyes, pleading to her with his blue orbs to help. He wondered how to two of them looked, like pathetic apprentices begging for something stupid, or actual clan cats fighting for their survival. Someone how he pictured the first one. Starpaw smiled calmly at the older cat, turning to rub the juices a bit deeper into the wound on his shoulder. He hissed slightly, not able to hold it in as the throbbing turned to a sharp pain that made his teeth jar. But it was infected, that much he could scent, and he wanted to be up and training with Windprint as soon as possible. "You can sleep there." He smiled, knowing her problem himself. Though he had a clan name he still felt a little out of place in the clan. He wanted to become a warrior, but something was nagging in the back of him mind telling him it would never be, and his own reasoning confirmed it. He was to weak, a burden. But he was not about to give up. "Why are you out of place?" He asked suddenly, curling up in his earlier position, leg splayed out awkwardly. "Everyone seems to adore you here, look up to you. But," He added. "I have to ask. Are you a medicine cat, or are you a warrior?" He could see it in her eyes the p*censored*ion she had for herbs and healing her clan mates, and was not sure why she was not medicine cat instead of Nightfall and Gentleheart. Don't get him wrong, he really though the two medicine cat did fine, but Mistsoul seemed to fit in the medicine cat den so well. But he'd seen the looks she gave a certain cat, the red one who's name he could not care to remember. Was it not a rule that medicine cats could not fall in love? Was that the reason Mistsoul seemed to out of place. He purred softly and curled up beside her, her reminding him again of his mother who he lost when he was young. He could never really remember the soft caress of a mother tongue over his fur, of the gentle words she spoke. Only Panthergaze's quips and shoves. Though his foster father never hurt him nor really raised his voice, he was not gentle either. Sighing tiredly, he lay his head on his paws and listened to Mistsoul's heartbeat, the thumping calming him.

"Thanks."Littlepaw smiled at Shadowpaw, even though she knew he was doing it for her sake. Lilac frowned. "W-why won't you guys trust me? If none of you guys agree, I'll go....." She looked forlornly at her small friend. She smiled to herself. The two smallest believed she wouldn't hurt them.

Shifting uncomfortably under Starpaw's observations Mistsoul thought he is very sensitive about fitting into clan life. Having taken into notice so quickly that she too wasn't quite in the clan. Licking her forepaw the silver she-cat swiped it over her ear twice to buy her some time before responding softly, "Long before you came to IceClan, I was the medicine cat apprentice of Fernseed." Her limbs filled with unease at the taste of the former medicine cats name on her tongue. She still wasn't sure how she felt about her leaving because of the love she felt for the other cat. She was my mother when Jadewing first pa.ssed on. "It was a decision I made at a young age," Mistsoul licked her dry lips as she stood up to release some of the pent-up energy that suddenly filled her legs. Walking around so that she was face to face with the slight, silver tom, Mistsoul sat. "I don't think you understand the full meaning of being a medicine cat," Mistsoul began, "for once you are named before StarClan, you may never participate in clan siding. That is easier than you would think, it is the other burden that held me down..." Shifting so that her thin tail covered her paws, Mistsoul looked down at the shadows. "You may never chose a mate," she meowed, so simply. How unfair it is that it can be said so simply, yet drag you down so hard. "When you are young, it's easy to accept this," Mistsoul mewed solemnly, "but I aged. As I aged, I began to understand what I took away from my life. No mate means no kits, no kits." A tear trailed down her cheek and her eyes widened with shock. I've become so weak that I'm crying again! Dashing the tear away, Mistsoul looked at Starpaw with a wistful gaze. "IceClan, our clan, was enough to satisfy me I thought, but I grew close to one cat and StarClan grew distant." Dipping her head, Mistsoul knew that she should stop because Starpaw didn't need to know this, but the words kept flowing. "I fell in love and StarClan knew it, so they sent me away." Her brow was creased with sorrow at the memories. I thought I had failed not only my clan, but Silentheart too. In a way, she still thought she had, leaving the way she did. "When StarClan sent me a.." she had almost told him about her companion "dream to come back, to go back home I was over joyed, but it was short-lived. I don't belong because I am neither a medicine cat nor a warrior now." There was longing in her voice as she continued, "There are two medicine cats to replace me, yet I can't be a warrior because I was never taught. I'm stuck between and I can't get out." Closing her honey eyes that had darkened to gold because of unshed tears, Mistsoul pressed her nose to Starpaw's crown. More tears wet her cheeks but she didn't mind. I can only hope that StarClan won't be so cruel as to hinder this cats fate as badly as they have mind. He's already cursed no to be a leader. Nuzzling his soft fur Mistsoul imagined him as if he was her own kit, looking so much like herself. Realizing that the tom and herself were hardly acquainted Mistsoul pulled away slowly, longing for the comfort and closeness of kin. "As for being adore," she purred softly, coming back to her stronger self, "that is because I am normally to listener to problems. I put a lot of trust in you, Starpaw, you can talk about anything you like with me, just I have with you. I will never belittle your thoughts or questions."

OoC: =3 Thank you, Mistsoul was very, well, emotional. x3 Oh, and don't be offended by Patchpelt. She's just got issues with tall cats because she is so small...well, a problem with strange tall cats. =3 Absorbing what Shadowpaw and Littlepaw said, Patchpelt felt guilt redden her cheeks. So quickly Patchpelt had turned hostile, but she is so huge! Patchpelt thought to herself, and she saw it in the other cats eyes as well. Shaking her head, Patchpelt felt more guilt because she was judging this cat simply by her size. Forcing herself to take in deep breathes, Patchpelt slowly got her pelt to lie flat, and her claws retracted, though they would come out at the slightest notice if provoked. Her emerald eyes were fiercely protective as she gazed up at Lilac. "You know all of this land?" Patchpelt asked, and was extremely pleased that her voice came out pleasant and calm. Unlike my quaking on the inside, she admitted. Looking at Littlepaw and Shadowpaw, Patchpelt realized that she needed to apologize to the two of them. They were being brave and very smart in choosing to accept Lilac. If she doesn't eat us for warrior-snacks, Lilac will certainly scare off any sane cat, fox, or badger. With an exasperated sigh, Patchpelt relaxed even further and mewed, "I owe you two an apology. I wasn't thinking about the possitives of having Lilac along, only the fact that she might eat us. But is we truly are related and you really won't eat us, I can see that you would be a great a.sset to our group." Dipping her head at the two apprentices' Patchpelt meowed, "You were thinking like warriors." But she still makes my pelt crawl as if spiders were on me. I don't trust her, Patchpelt thought to herself. Though, she decided to keep that to herself. "We should get moving to that tree, the others are to meet us there...I just hope you don't scare them away," Patchpelt grumbled the last bit and impishly ducked her head, trotting off in the direction of the lone, tall tree. Meanwhile, Redpaw was grumbling about Kestrelheart being as slow as a slug. How the prey tasted like crowfood, and how he wanted to be sleeping. "Why did I even bother finding you guys. This is no fun at all, and it's not like I can go back now." With a half hiss, half huff the ginger tom loped off after another mouse. His stomach was overwhelmed by the prey-scent and he couldn't seem to eat enough. The prey is so abundant too! Glancing over his shoulder, Redpaw fumed that Kestrelheart had gotten distracted again! Or maybe I'm just impatient... Denying the thought Redpaw scowled when the older tom approached with what might be another mouse. With a great pretense of frustration, Redpaw growled, "I'll be a warrior by the time we get to that tree! Hurry up!"

ooc; Thank you Siri! I don't really know what is wrong with it..... Oh well.. I will find out soon. And also Siri, I love thje emotion in your posts, >Cries< They make me happy and sad! And others, If my post confuses you, I am confused presently, so I am sorry about that :P >>Journeying cats<< "You will become a warrior? Oh I didn't think new born Kits were aloud to do that!" spat Kesteralheart at the apprentice, Bearly an apprentice and he is treating me like the kit. Running down to the tree with his catches, he lay his catch on the tiny fresh-kill pile, then lay down. I think I deserve a rest. Away from Redpaw..... Brightleaf felt mini beside the tall she cat. How would she be so stable with a small tail like that? she asked herself, knowing that this she cat would be a very valuable cat to the team, she still didn't feel comfortable near or around her. I could learn from her though. she thought. Surly this cat would help them for a good reason? Or would she come with them so that she could find the Clans? More fears spiked at Brightleaf as she padded beside Lilac. Hoping she would not see those scenes in real life, she just kept padding onward. >>In the Clan<< Shatteredrose woke up with a drowsy feeling, she could barley see clearly. Flicking her torn ears, she steadied herself onto her good paws and took some clumsy steps out of her new den. She flicked some of the moss of her dark ginger tabby pelt, still feeling the hollow desperate feeling in her stomach. Her bright blue eyes were coated with tire and exhaustion, and she felt as if she could fall over at this very moment. Parting her jaws for a large yawn, she padded over to the tiny fresh-kill pile to find crow-food on the bottom, and a couple fresh animals on the top. Letting her shoulders droop, she reached down to grab a tiny snake on top. Then padded to the shelter of overhanging cliff for shelter.

OoC: I swear Mistsoul and Starpaw remind me so much of a mother and her kit ^^ I think it's cute. BiC: Shadowpaw felt his pelt warm as Patchpelt seemed to accept Lilac, which meant she respect his sisters and his decision. Though he did wonder if her words were for show to keep the group together, or if she really meant she trusted the m*censored*ive cat. He knew full well he did not exactly trust Lilac, she could practically eat his sister in one bite and himself in two. We could end up as warrior-bites! The very thought sent shivers running down his spine and he quickly padded back over to his mentor, taking comfort in her familiar scent. "Are you sure we made the right decision?" He decided to ask, completely contradicting his earlier words, and he knew it. But he did not want to be the reason blood was spilled, or Littlepaw. Starting off towards the meeting tree, tail held stiffly behind him and prey kept firmly in his jaws, Shadowpaw looked towards the sky, about to pray to Starclan for their safety. But he quickly changed his mind, blue eyes turning to chips of sapphire and a rumbled protruded from his throat. Why should I pray to them!? He thought bitterly, eyes now down cast towards the ground. It's not like they have done anything to deserve hearing me ask them for anything. Throwing his catch down beside the tree that had rapidly approached while he was lost in hos own thoughts, he plopped down roughly and began devouring a small mouse, pretending it was all the Starclan cats rolled into one. Starpaw looked up as Mistsoul, eyes stretched wide in wonder. No wonder she seems so lost. He thoughts, itching to comfort her in some way. Yet at the same time he wanted to be comforted like a kit as well, and limping to his feet he plopped back down beside the darker grey she-cat and purred comfortingly. "Thats really sad." He whispered, voice smooth. "I...I never would have guessed that you were really in so much pain. Mental I mean. Because if you were hurt you could take care of yourself yet the whole clan would be right there at the same time." He smiled, whiskers twitching. "Why don't you tell this addle-brained tom you like him?" He inquired, tipping his tiny head to the side. "I;m sure he would not mind to teach you the ways of a warrior, after all he's a lucky cat to be able to have you there." He purred, curling into a ball. "You know who you remind me of?" He whispered, heart thudding painfully at the sudden memory. "My mother. You sound a lot like her, when she used to cuddle us and meow how much she loved us." He shut his eyes, hiding his face in his tail in shame. Apprentice were not supposed to cry over their mothers, but he missed her so much, the warmth and care she brought. Mistsoul was so much like her that it was not hard to remember. "Perhaps one day you'll have kits, and they'll be lucky as well. Don't let this trivial thinking that your neither warrior nor medicine cat stop you from doing what you want most. Which ever side you chose." Looking down in a small pool that stood at her tiny paws, a calico she-cat watched the figure in the water with sadness, itching to be there to guide it in these troubled time. She sighed, and curled her fluffy tail over her paws, wondering what she could do. Nothing now,m except watch and perhaps guide. As she watched the red cat, she could not help but flinch at his harsh words directed at his companion, and wanted to rebuke him. Closing her green eyes, she touched her delicate nose to the shimmering water over top the figure, her mind wondering to exactly where he was. Patience, young one. She whispered, knowing full well he could perhaps hear her in the wind. Things are hard, and will get more difficult in the future. Keep your clan mates close, and Starclan closer and it will all work out no matter what you lose. Falconwing whispered to her former apprentice, wishing, not for the first time, Redpaw could have been her own kit.
