Duskpaw looked up at Cougarclaw andd mewled, "I won't tell Birdpaw or Ravenpaw: she swalloed a lu,p in her thrat, "I'll let father tell them." Tears streaming don her face she dashed away when her sisters came into the camp from the pspprentices den.

Eaglestar looked at her deputy and mewoed, "I know. It wasn't wise, but i have loved him since I was a warrior" She became confused when she heard a low rasp, "Your time is up" Eaglestar lifted her head and surveyed the chaos looking for who might have said that. "Who wa that?" she asked alarmed

((in Rainfeather's dream)) 

Rainfeather..... meowed Iceheart. "Rainfeather.." Rainfeather stood up and looked at him. "This is your fault.. You-" "I was controlling you while you faught." he interupted. "That was at a gathering !!" she spat.  "It is your fault.... I woldn't eb trusted in this clan AGAIN  if you-" she cut off. "When you are in deep fights I will mentor you.." he rasped. "No." She meowed strongley"I won't let you!" she hissed. "You have caused trouble for me too often.. never again." She Ran forward and sliced the image with her claws, "You are not worthy of my mentoring!" he spat. as he disappeared in the black sky.

(At camp)

Cougarclaw looked at Duskpaw. The she-cat looked so vulnerable, curled up with Falconwing. Me and my big trap, I should have told Falconwing quieter. Though, how was I to know this kit was listening? With a sigh, Cougarclaw left the queens den, knowing that they were safe. The foxes must have scented all the cats joining together for the gathering, she thought. Would things have turned out differently if Eaglestar and Leopardheart had let Kestrelheart and I go with? Could I have saved Jadewing? Shaking her head furiously, Cougarclaw ordered thoughts like that from her mind. It’s done now, StarClan has chosen. Her pelt was ruffled from her erratic emotions, so she busied herself by licking it flat and whipping a paw over her still damp eyes.

Patchpaw found Cheetahpaw in the apprentice den. I haven’t talked to him much lately. Walking over to him, she found that he was already asleep. Her tail drooped in disappointment. Of course, now that I have something to talk about he’s asleep. Patchpaw laid her ears back in frustration. Taking in a deep breath she held if for a moment before letting it out slowly. With that breath she let out all her frustration. No use getting mad at him for getting some shut eye, more of the clan should be resting. Her thoughts traveled back to Leopardheart and how he wasn’t sleeping well lately. Now it’s only going to get worse. Suddenly feeling lonely, Patchpaw walked over to Cheetahpaw and lay down next to him. Her back to his, she nestled into his warmth, finally feeling safe Patchpaw slept.

(At the Gathering)

Leopardheart followed Eaglestar’s gaze, not knowing who said those words. “I think we should gather the clan and head back to camp.” He mewed, “StarClan obviously doesn’t want this Gathering to continue.” I need to find Swiftdarkness. Looking sadly at Jadewing he thought, she needs to be brought home. “But Eaglestar, you can’t go back in time. So live with the choices you have made because in the future you will laugh and love them. I have never regretted taking Jadewing as a mate.” With a small smile he added, “Though she was the one with the burden of carrying the kits. But I love them each and everyday.” Standing a bit taller he continued, “And I’m sure that any she-cat would willingly take your kits if you really feel the decision was wrong. But if you really love Redstorm then I have no doubt that you will love these kits.” With a flick of his tail Leopardheart dashed and quickly called out for IceClan cats to gather. Spotting a distressed Emeraldpaw, he asked Ravenfeather to go over to her and see what was wrong while he got Swiftdarkness to help him lift Jadewing onto his back. Fernseed hovered around, her fear-scent strong. We need to get back to camp. I will send a patrol out immediately and come sun-high tomorrow I will announce Mintpaw's new mentor along with Dreampaw's. Then when dusk comes I will make warriors. For this night we will mourn Jadewing in a third day of death but tomorrow I will attempt to bring joy back to this clan. A last solemn thought wiggled into his mind, a clan that should be named Death.

((I don't feel right using Silentheart much, because he's dead, but he's so hard to get rid of. Hope you don't mind me using him so much East. By the way, me and Eklipse came to the agreement on Silentheart training Shatteredkit, just in case that seemed random (: ))

About to once more visit Shatteredkit, Silentheart decided to see how his other friends were doing, and almost purred as he spotted Patchpaw asleep. Slinking into her dreams, he looked wearily around. "Patchpaw?" He asked softly, suddenly feeling stupid and selfish. "This is a bad idea." He murmured to the ground. She's suffered enough, and does not need me around to make it worse.

The moonlight filled the water that Shatteredkit was standing on. "Hello?" her voise echoed through the clear space.

"Leopardheart, Rainfeather is nocked out and I don't know how to get her back to camp. She is such a tall cat and..." Emeraldpaw cutt off.

 "How will I become a warrior?" meowed Nightkit. you could hear the anger and frustration in her voice. "I wish I could see." she murmured. 

((Fullmoon: A whole eagle?! O^O Gentletouch doesn't sound so gentle...lol))

(At the Gathering)

Leopardheart looked at Emeraldpaw, who was obviously distressed, and hissed, "Ask Raveneyes to carry Rainfeather." The dead weight of Jadewing making Leopardheart remember just how many moons he had lived. I can't let her go though, not yet. With a flick of his tail Leopardheart motioned for Swiftdarkness to get Rainfeather.

(At Camp)

Patchpaw was restless in her attempt to sleep.

Silentheart? Deep in a hazy land that was unfamiliar, Patchpaw realized that she was dreaming. Treading forward with sluggish movements that seemed to not move her in any direction, Patchpaw cried out, "Silentheart!" It's so odd that I feel like I have been here before when I know I haven't. Shivering slightly, Patchpaw looked around again and felt so alone. I know that I sleep by Cheetahpaw but I feel so vulnerable. "Silentheart?" she cried again, not understanding her desire to do so. He's in a better place now. I should just leave him be, he knows his mothers loving touch and can boast to his litter mates that he is a warrior now. Slightly trembling, Patchpaw stood and looked around. Suddenly she heard her name being called, "Patchpaw! Please! Come over here! I want to talk to you!" Looking around, trying to pin-point the voices locations, she meowed, "Cheetahpaw?" But it was carried away by a frightening breeze. Walking again to keep the chill away, she heard, "Don't leave me! Please! I just want to be your friend!" Stopping again she looked around, and yowled out, "Where are you?" But she got the feeling of loneliness again. I don't understand...

With a hiss, Patchpaw startled awake. Her head surveyed the den only to find Cheetahpaw smiling at her. Before she could stop herself, she smiled in response then a great yawn cause her to purr with laughter. "What was it you said?" she asked, timidly. "I was...uh...sleeping." Patchpaw shuffled her paws as she looked at them guiltily, like she ate before feeding the elders. "I hope you don't mind that I slept so close," she mewed, "I've just been so lonely and you were so warm..."

Duskpaw curled up and tried to sleep.

Eaglestar thought about what Leopardheart had said while she pushed through the current chaaos in the clearing. "Cats f IceClan!" she yowled, "Gather our fallen and bring them back to camp" She turned and led the patrol away, towards their camp/

Jadewing ran over to her mother and father and nuzzled them for the first time in moons. She looked down at the destruction that was her clan, "wait Rainfeather isn't dead is she?" she asked mewling, "I can't feel her prescence or scent her body" She continued looking down and saw her daughter Duskpaw curled up with Falconwing crying. Looking at Rosestar who nodded approvingly she "jumped" out of the sky and walked up to her daughter, who was now deep in sleep and meowed, "Peace dear one. It will be better soon"

Silentheart, watched as Patchpaw spoke with Cheetahpaw, and the same bitter feeling when he was among Iceclan returned. No, I cannot think of that now. If Cheetahpaw is what makes her happy, then I will understand and be happy for them. Shaking his head in confusion and slight grief, he did as his mother asked and entered Shatteredkit's dream once more, and felt better to know he was doing something helpful for his clan. "Shatteredkit?" He meowed gently, and touched the kits pelt his his nose.

Falconwing watched Duskpaw bound off and felt tears enter her eyes once more. What is happening to our clan! They all seem to be joining Starclan! She wailed in her mind bitterly. Getting up, she licked each of her kits gently and followed after the distressed apprentice. Seeing Duskpaw sitting around, the queen padded up and placed her tail over the apprentices shoulders. "It will be alright." She purred softly. "She will be proud of you."

"Yes, Silentheart?" meowed shatterekit.

Dingofang looked at Rainfeather, quailfoot and falconeyes. Rainfeather's body lay limp, Raveneyes approaching her to carry her back to camp, while Quialfoot and falconeyes fought off a pair of foxes. Stupid mangy dogs. He though t to hiomself, he yowled as one of the foxes grabbed Falconeyes' back and threw her aside. He jumped in the way of the fox as it lunged for his sister Quailfoot. "NOOO!"  he shreeked as he jumped infront of her, The fox kicked him away he lay off to the side, dazed but still alive. Barely. Emeraldpaw walked up and cried, "Dingofang!?" He looked at her solemnly, "tell Rainfeather I love her" he meowed, then he layed his head on the ground. "Dingofang no!" emeraldpaw meowed sadly, she pressed her nose in his fur.  "Quailfoot, I am soo sorry." Eemeraldpaw meowed. " Ddingofang." she murmured in the sight of her brother's neck beeding. "I am so sorry, You shouldn't have jumped." Quailfoot meowed. Emeraldpaw left Quailfoot to greive when she came across another cat lying on the ground limp. It was Falconeyes, "Emeraldpaw, "she heard her moean. "Yes?" she meowed quietly. "Tell Eaglestar that Rainfeather is a good warrior and should be trusted even though her father was Evil," she rasped. "What did she do to change your mind?" she meowed softley. "She saved me from an earleyer attack, but I still will go to join starclan." she rasped. "Tell her, Thank you; she will make a great leader." she meowed. Then let her head fall rest on the ground. "She has joined starclan now." meowed Quailfoot.

"Uh.. ok." she meowed. She stedied herself on the ground and lifted her injuted paw, she tried to walk forward and fell on her stomach. "Silentheart how will thiss be posible?" Shatteredkit meowed quietly.
