He licked her cheek, his claw sliding in and out in his anticipation, "Other cats don't trust you because of your," he paused trying to think of a propper word, "Because of your outbursts, and the fact the you killed Flameridge when he was exiled. Now don't take this the wrong way, I would have loved to do that myself, but I don't approve of killing but I still rreally like you."

Leopardheart lurched away from the she-cat that seemed all too close. “I haven’t seen you in over ten moons! I’ve claimed a mate, one for life, and had kits with her.” He scrambled out, “I know that I loved you at a point but I don’t love you like that anymore…” Knowing that the words sounded harsh, Leopardheart clarified, “I still have a place in my heart for you but I don’t love you like I did before.” He stood there, less than a cat length from Gentletouch and realized what she had just said. I-I had kits. And you probably don't know. I named them Graykit and Mintkit...A small tremor built from his paws and slowly crept up his legs to start a full body shake. Graypaw and Mintpaw are my kin? They are my kits? I never thought of what happened that night. Ashfoot was so angry with me but he understood why I was acting so, like always. The sun finally creased the horizon, bathing Leopardheart’s pelt in hues of tawny-gold, ash-cream, and ivory-sand. Looking into the blinding rays he thought, I don’t deserve to be deputy. I have made far too many mistakes, and this cannot be ignored. “Gentletouch, I think you should come to the camp with me,” he mewed, “I need to explain what is going on to the clan.” Though, I will do that after naming Mintpaw’s mentor, as well as Dreampaw’s. After that I will announce Cheetahpaw, Graypaw and Emeraldpaw as warrior. Then I will tell the clan about my mistakes, even if means getting exiled. Motioning for Gentlepaw to follow, Leopardheart lead the way back to the camp. When he entered, Leopardheart didn’t even hesitate, he leapt to the top of the Highrock in a single bound. Calling out in a meow that range with power, Leopardheart repeated the tradition, “All cats old enough to catch their own prey gather beneath the Highrock for a clan meeting.” Watching them gather beneath the rock, he felt no fear. He was a proud cat, and he knew that is was a fault. He would never back down, he would always take responsibility for his actions but most importantly he would think of the clan first.

Rainfeather left Raveneyes and walked toward the rock that Leopardheart was standing on.  She turned to see Jayflight emerge from the medicine cat den. Emeraldpaw sanding beside her. Redstorm stood beside quailfoot who had her head drooped probley because of the loss of her brother. Ivynose came out of the warrior den. Rainfeather seen her walk up and stan beside Leopardheart. Robinwing guiding her. I wish I fit in like the other cats here, I wish that other cats would sit beside me..... But I have know cats to blame but myself...

"Leopardheat, before you do this, I would like it if you gave me the honor of becoming a elder. There isn't much I could do for this clan... Now that I am blind.." she meowed quietly. Robinwing leaped down off the rock before her mother and guided her too the side of the gathered cats. Shatteredkit ran out of the medicine cat den, along with poisonkit. They sat beside there mother and starred at the sky.
