Kestrealheart chuckled at the little kit. He swayed his tail away from her whenever she got near it, turning it into a tiring game.

Eaglestar heaed back towards camp after a beast long afternoon walk. She padded into the camp and walked over to her den where she saw Cheetahwind standing and Kestrelheart playing, while Pacthpelt lay dozing .

Eaglestar looked down at the kit who was batting around with her tail and placed her paw down on Jadekit's tail.

Larkkit awoke to the scent of her mother, "Mrowri" she mewed and scuttle over to he. The world was blurry as always as she cuddled up to Jadekit.

Thump! Hmm, I wonder what that was…Patchpelt’s mind was groggy. Working so slowly that it took a moment to realize that the pressure on her head had left. Peeking one emerald eye open Patchpelt gazed up at Eaglestar, the she-cat had come back from her leisurely afternoon. I hope she doesn’t mind that I took a nap. It’s just so comforting, and it was the only way to keep the kits from fighting. Her eye drooped close again, and Patchpelt returned to her deep slumber.

Ravenpaw looked at Rainfeather in amazement, "Wow" she mewed.

When Ravenfeather nodded in agreement, Leopardheart stood and looked around camp. Eaglestar had come back and most of the cats were wandering, napping, or sharing tongues around camp. I think Rainfeather is working with Ravenpaw, but I would like to get this announced. Trotting up to the Highrock, Leopardheart took calming breathes. For some reason he was a bit anxious. Leaping onto the perch, he called out in a meow that range about the camp, “All cats old enough to catch their own prey gather beneath the Highrock for a clan meeting.” He watched them gather around, his heart beating erratically, his tail twitching to and fro, and his paws felt slick with sweat. Leopardheart watched Swiftdarkness shuffle Littlekit, Midnightkit, and Shadowkit toward the gathering. When Fernseed lead Nightkit, and Gentlekit forward, Leopardheart noticed that their soon to be mentor was tense also. Poisonkit, and Shatteredkit walked up with Falconwing, and Whisperwind. “This is a proud day for IceClan,” Leopardheart meowed, “by naming apprentices we show IceClan will survive and remain strong.” Motioning with his tail, Leopardheart got Shatteredkit to come forward. “Shatteredkit, from now on until you receive your warrior name you will be known as Shatteredpaw.” Looking into the crowd, Leopardheart meowed, “Berrypool, you are ready for an apprentice, you will be Shatteredpaw’s mentor. I know you will pa.ss on your loyalty, and wisdom to Shatteredpaw, and teach her the skills that will make her a brave warrior of IceClan.”

The former kittypet looked surprised but extremely happy, as the two touched noses.

Looking into Poisonkit’s eyes, Leopardheart motioned her forward. “Poisonkit, from now on until you receive your warrior name you will be know as Poisonpaw.” Lifting his eyes from the new apprentice, Leopardheart called out, “Whisperwind, you are ready for an apprentice, you will be Poisonpaw’s mentor. I know you will pa.ss on your stealth, and patience to Poisonpaw, and teach her the skills that will make her a brave warrior of IceClan.”

The warrior bowed her head and touched noses with Poisonkit.

With just a glance at Midnightkit, Leopardheart got her to come forward. From where he stood on the Highrock he could plainly see excitement. “Midnightkit, from now on until you receive your warrior name you will be known as Midnightpaw.” Leopardheart easily spotted Cheetahwind, and the tom stepped forward. “Cheetahwind, you are ready for your first apprentice, you will be Midnightpaw’s mentor. I know you will pa.ss on your agility, and coningness to Midnightkit, and teach her the skills that will make her a brave warrior of IceClan.”

As excited as both of them were, Midnightpaw accidentally smashed their noses together.

With a silent chuckle, Leopardheart called for Littlekit, “Littlekit, from now on until you receive your warrior name you will be known as Littlepaw.” Jumping down from the Highrock, Leopardheart meowed, “I, Leopardheart, will be mentor to Littlepaw. I will pa.ss on my strength and wisdom to Littlepaw, and teach her the skills that will make her a brave warrior of IceClan.” With his words ceasing, Leopardheart dipped his nose to Littlepaw’s and touched hers ever so gently. When he stood back up, Leopradheart realized that Shadowkit still didn’t have a mentor. Lifting his head up, Leopardheart grinned warmly at the tom. “Shadowkit,” he meowed, and the tom came forward, “Shadowkit, from now on until you receive your warrior name you will be known as Shadowpaw.” Do I smell lilacs and strawberries? After a moments pause, Leopardheart looked over at Patchpelt. “Patchpelt, you are ready for an apprentice, you will be Shadowpaw’s mentor.” He could see the shock on her sweet face as she came forward. “I know you will pa.ss on your enthusiasm and determination, and teach him the skills that will make him a brave warrior of IceClan.”

Rainfeather appeared in the middle of the ceremony with Ravenpaw, "I remember my apprentice ceremony." she meowed to her.

Poisonpaw looked at her mentor,  Come on! Be at least a little happy you are an apprentice now!  "What can we do first?" she meowed trying to sound Exited.

Shatteredpaw starred at here new mentor.  I am finally an apprentice! she though as she starred at Berrypool's blue tail. "Why do you have a blue tail?" meowed Shatteredpaw, "What will we do first?!" she shrieked.  

 When will I get my apprentice name? She though for a moment and followed Fernseed and Gentlekit out of the den.
