Trish looked up "You think i cant take care of myself?!" she yelled angrily. She shoved him out of the way and climbed onto the moutain stopping in the middle of it. "Just go away and leave me alone i can handle myself!" she yelled down to him

Jay just stood there as she walked away. He dropped to his knees. "Why is she so complicated?! Why do I even bother? Why do I keep going after her?!" He said to himself. Jay sighed and sat there and looked over the edge of the mountain. It looked as if there was no bottom. He was always terrified of heights. He tried to get up, but he slipped on the edge. "Damn it!" He yelled as he started to fall. Just before he fell he grabbed the edge of the path with one hand. Maybe it was him who needed someone to depend on.

Trish heard him yell and thinking again that she was on a mountain he could have gotten seriously hurt. She then ran back to where Jay was and it looked like he was nearly falling of the edge. Trish gasped "Hold on Jay!" she said as she scurried to him and grabbed his hand. And with a blow of her breath she yanked him back up.

Jay kept smiling as he followed her. "So what if I don't want to go back to my camp?" He asked with a bit of flirt in his voice. He didn't just like her for her looks. The fact the she was the only girl besides Aminta who didn't flock over him. Jay didn't know why, but it made him want her more then any other girl he has flirted with. And her denying of wanting to be with him, her personality.
