Jay kept silent and wouldn't look at Trish. "When I said for us to run away, I meant together...." He mumbled to himself. He stared into the night sky. Jay tucked he knees to his chest and clenched his hand into a fist, causing the boat to go a little faster. He was brain dead. He couldn't think of a plan to convince her. Maybe saving her life? He thought then denied that idea. She was to stubborn.
