((THE RUMORS OF WAR SPREAD

(Okay great...Sorry if this mucks up a bit.)

I walked slowly down the trail through the forest, looking around every now and again to see what was happening around me. Nothing that’s what was happening, a whole lot of nothing. I ran a hand through my crimson red hair with a slight yawn. To tell the truth I had no idea where I was going or why I was going there ,I just knew that I wasn’t about to turn back and walk to where I had just come from.

 “I wonder if apples are in season this time of year.” I muttered closing my eyes, “There’s nothing worse then an out of season apple.” It was at this point that I heard movement and my eyes almost immediately snapped open. I looked around to find that I was still alone on the trail Just some birds I thought But I better keep my eyes open just in case. As I continued to walk I got a slightly uneasy feeling in my stomach Maybe there is something I thought but continued on anyway I was always told not to go in here wasn’t I? I really couldn’t remember anymore.

I looked across into a clearing just a few feet further down the path and spotted a small pond. I slowly but surely walked over to the pond and peered into the cold water. No reflection looking back at me, just the small fish who seemed to all swim back into their little hiding places. I sat down beside the pond with a slight frown I miss my reflection I thought closing my eyes I don’t have a clue if I’ve got blood on my face. All I knew about my appearance I got from a picture I had found in the pocket of my pants ,although how long ago it was taken I couldn’t be sure ,Well obviously before I turned because…vampires don’t show up in pictures.

I pulled the picture out of my pants pocket and stared at the girl. I was smiling back then with what seemed to be perfect teeth, but now I’m scared to show my teeth when I smile because all anyone ever sees is the fangs. My hair was a lighter shade of red back then too but I wasn’t sure if that was due to bad lighting or due to the amount of blood I’d probably gotten in my hair…I think it was the first. My hair was just past my shoulders in the picture and I thought it would be good to keep it that way. I closed my eyes yet again before laying down on the grass My eyes I thought In the picture they’re a deep blue but……has that changed?. I let out a slight sigh What have you gotten yourself into Lilac? I thought opening my eyes and looking up into the sky.

I soon started fiddling with the charm on my neck; it was a strange ob
ject to say the least. A pair of almost demonic silver claws wrapped around a small round clear sphere which was filled with what could only be described as blood ,although from what I do not know. But I did know this, when I took off the necklace that sun burnt me, and I mean burnt.

 I looked back to see what could only be described as a big cat of some sort. I quickly got to my feet ,making sure to face the large mammal. "W-what do you want?" I asked feeling slightly stupid when I actually thought about my words It can't understand me.

Anna slowly walked into the village ,her cat like tail flickering ever so slightly as she went. "Well..." she muttered running a hand through her long black hair as her violet eyes scanned her surroundings ,"This should be fun.".

I looked at the big cat "Y-you just talked." I stuttered feeling slightly scared.

"B-but why?" I asked looking at the thing,"Normal animals can't talk.". I started to play with my necklace feeling a bit uneasy in the beasts presence I must be the only vampire out there that's afraid of a big cat I thought looking into it's eyes.

"Chore?" I asked cocking my head What is this witch on about? "What do you mean by that?".
