Midnight said and started eating her food, and when finished she leaped onto Leanna's shoulder. She kept watch for other dangerous pokemon until it was time to go, then when they were not even halfway there, Midnight jumped off Leanna's shoulder and sprinted into the woods, obviously pointing out a shortcut.

She held up three pokeballs, and Dream, Sparkle, and Snivy disappeared in red light.
Did you guys know that there is a gym in town up there? I am thinking of entering, you guys would seriously rock the gym leader's world.
She smiled and started to follow Midnight when she realized how dark it was.
Sparkle, come on out and use flash!
Her tiny pichu flashed the forest, illuminating a large orb around Leanna.
Thank you little one, return. Ok Midnight, now I am ready, lead the way! But make sure you stay inside the light, I don't want to lose you.
She hugged Sapphire and chased after Midnight in the gloom.

Danny had heard some commotion not too far away, and whatever it was he decided to go and investigate. He set his Pichu on his shoulder and walked off in the direction of what he had heard. His Pokemon followed him, and he quickly came to a person and their Buizel. Danny had not met the person before, but thought it polite to be of some help.
"What's wrong with your Buizel?"
Danny took a few steps towards them and then stopped a few metres away from the stranger. Danny did his best to look friendly, which wasn't hard for him; he just smiled, politely.
"Chuuuuuuuu?" Chu Chu squeaked from Danny's shoulder, her ears twitching a little. All of Danny's other Pokemon were silent, except for Joy the Skitty, who had started to chase her tail again.
Meanwhile, elsewhere, Donna-Marie was still taking a forest stroll with Steelix and Pandora.

Leanna had been walking for a while in the forest, and soon it had become lighter. She called back to Sapphire who was starting to fall behind.
If you don't hurry I am going to have to call you back into your pokeball!
Suddenly, she ran into something hard, and instinctively reached up to her head, which was shooting with pain. Blood was all over her forehead and in her hair. She looked up and saw a large Steelix looming above her. Why was she running into pokemon so much today?
Sapphire, do something, please.
She could barely get the words out. Her head had hit a sharp part of Steelix's body, and she was losing blood extremely quickly. She thought she saw a flash of light. Maybe it was Sapphire or Midnight coming to save her. In front of her eyes swirled nothing but darkness. The logical part of her mind gave her two options: embrace the darkness, or keep the pain.
Darkness, please darkness.
She passed out and fell onto the soft grass.

"Oh- um- he..." Kyle stuttered, before sighing. "He doesn't really like me much; his power is too high and he doesn't listen. Most of my pokemon are like that. They'll help me if my life is in danger, but..."
"Jig jig?" Jingle cooed, jumping from Kyle's arms and walking over to the Skitty, watching the cat-like pokemon bounce around and chase itself.

Rosie walked through the forest, kicking at pine cones angrily. Lord, she was bored. There was nothing to do here, the pokemon were weird, and her grandmother wasn't up to much conversation these days. A few hours earlier, she had left the house, grabbing her bag and poke-balls, and yelling across the house 'Grandma I'm going!'. Now, she was her, walking with BB, her torchic, and Charley, her moody cinccino.
Rosie kicked a particularly large pine cone, and it flew into the air. She then watched in surprise as a grey blur shot past her, straight into the air, and grabbed the cone. she laughed when she saw the creature that had grabbed the cone. It had been Charley. Charley was now holding the pine cone, and handing it to Rosie with a loud, 'cin, cin!' he gathered up his scarf-like tails, and looked intently at Rosie. Rosie laughed. Charley wanted to play fetch! Just when she was about to throw, however, and massive grey shape came towards them. A steelix. Yelling in surprise, Rosie gathered up her pokemon and ran out of it's path. Looking back, she noticed there was a trainer and a pokemon on it's back.
Storming up to the steelix, she shouted as loud as she could with rage, "Hey! watch where you're going!" she cupped her hands to her mouth, as she was unsure if the trainer would be able to hear her or not.

"Skiiiitttyyyy!" Joy purred, stopping her chase and looking over to the JIgglypuff that approached her. She smiled and walked over to them, mewing in pleasant greeting.
"Huh? So your Buizel doesn't really like you..." Danny mused, thinking a little. "Hmmmm....well, don't let that get you down. I'm pretty sure that if you keep on training then Buizel will come to respect you eventually! I mean, take Meowsy, for example...she never used to listen to me, but now she and I get along just fine!" Meowsy, the Meowth in question, actually blushed a little when this was said and nodded as well. Danny grinned in a pleasantly friendly way and nodded to the stranger.
"Oh, and my name is Daniel, by the way...Daniel Westlake." he said. "But, please, call me Danny."
Meanwhile, Donna-Marie's Steelix had come to a halt. The trainer perched on the Pokemon's head also heard the voice below them and requested that her Pokemon let her get down, and Steelix lowered her head so that DOnna-Marie and Pandora could hop off. Donna-Marie nodded in apology to the other trainer.
"I'm so sorry." she whispered, softly. She turned and recalled Steelix to her Pokeball. Pandora looked at the newcomer with curiosity, but did not make an effort to approach them, instead staying at Donna-Marie's side.

"I don't know... I've had him for a year now, the only pokemon who favors me is Jingle. And, well, Absol follows me around a lot, but he isn't technically my own pokemon. I don't want to catch him; he loves to roam, coming and going as he pleases."
As if on cue, a rumble sounded in my background. "I know Absols are known for causing natural disasters, but it's a myth. Actually, I've done my research; they sense the smallest changes in the sky and the weather, and tend to go there. He's actually very intelligent."
The white and blue Absol hopped around in his queer way of walking- his right front and right back foot, then his left front and left back foot. He leaped next to Kyle's side.

Leanna looked up and saw two trainers who hadn't noticed her yet. Her vision was still blurry so she couldn't see who they were, but she was sure one of them was the Steelix's trainer.
Sapphire? Midnight?
She called to her two pokemon that were out of their pokeballs. Sapphire came up to her and laid down next to her. Leanna's vision went blurry again. Hopefully those two trainers had noticed her by now. She hugged her Manaphy and passed out once more.

Needless to say, Danny was considerably impressed by the Absol that had come to Kyle. He had heard Kyle's words about how Absol did not cause disasters but rather detected them and tried to warn others of them, and nodded, having had his doubts about Absol causing disasters as well.
"I must say, your Pokemon are rather impressive!" Danny said. "Oh, I should probably introduce my Pokemon...you've already met Meowsy..." Danny gestured to his Meowth, who winked and raised a paw in a rather sassy-looking pose.
"That's Pixel the Eevee and Sally the shiny Vibrava." Danny went on, pointing to the shiny Vibrava and young Eevee beside him. Sally waved one foreleg and buzzed her wings a little, looking cheerful, while Pixel cuddled up to the shiny Vibrava, looking quite adorable in doing so.
"I swear Pixel has a crush on her...kinda cute." Danny commented, with a slight laugh. "Anyway, the cute lil' Skitty just there is Joy. I'm thinking of evolving her someday, I just have to find a Moonstone first. And THIS real lil' cutie here is Chu Chu, and my first Pokemon."Danny indicated the Pichu sitting on his shoulder, who squeaked. Of course. Danny had not yet introduced Milo, the shiny Milotic, who was still in his Pokeball.

Kyle smirked a tad, looking the boy up and down. There was not a doubt he was an incredibly attractive man. "Your pokemon are adorable. I'll introduce my gang, too, but... make sure you have a pokemon ready to defend you just in case, they seem to not like people." Kyle took a deep breath, grabbing four pokeballs. "C'mon, guys. Try not to kill someone." Kyle joked as he threw the fancy ultra and great balls, each with fanciful seals of their own. The first pokemon to jump out was Munchlax. The tiny guy shook himself out, probably stiff from not being out of his pokeball for a while. "He's level 21, and the most adorable thing, isn't he?" Kyle chuckled, reaching down his hand to pet him as teeth buried into his fingers. Next to him came Pontaya. It's flames raged as it stared down Danny's Skitty. With a call it send a ball of fire straight towards it. "Hey, hey, Pontaya! Stop!" Kyle screamed as the horse-pokemon spun around on it's heels, rearing onto it's read hoofs and pawing the air right in front of Kyle. One hoof struck him in the stomach roughly, knocking him right where the sun don't shine. "Jing-Jingle!" he hissed sharply. "Sing!" Quickly, under the Jigglypuff's song, the Pontaya quickly fell to sleep.

Joy gave a squeak of alarm as the fire was sent at it, and would no doubt have defended herself had not Sally the shiny Vibrava buzzed over, grabbed her and lifted her into the air to avoid the flames. And when the Ponyta turned and managed to hit Kyle with a flailing hoof, Danny started forward to help him, but found that he did not need to as the Jigglypuff used Sing to make the Ponyta fall asleep. Sally let Joy down to the ground and the small Skitty shook her tail to get some dust off of it.
"Uh...are you ok?" Danny asked, evidently concerned. "Here, this should help the pain a little...Joy, use Heal Bell!" Joy ran over to Kyle, hopped gently onto his shoulder, and then waggled her tail in adorable way, using the move Heal Bell to help ease the pain from Ponyta's kick. Once this had been done Joy ran back over to Danny. Chu Chu, who was still on Danny's shoulder, smiled and squeaked, tugging at Danny's ear.
"Feel any better?" Danny asked, taking Chu Chu off his shoulder. "That Ponyta has some real power to it, huh?" He grinned a little at this, and Chu Chu walked over to Jingle.

"Yea. Thanks." Kyle said, hiding a blush. "They're a piece of work, huh? I'm frankly too scared to try to train them anymore. Absol, though..." The legendary looked up at Kyle. "He's different, I guess. I don't know if he likes me... but he never attacks me, and he fights for me sometimes. But on another note, what are you doing out in the forest?"

Danny listened to Kyle, and after he had finished, Danny shrugged in response to the question that had been asked, his grin a casual yet friendly one.
"No particular reason...just killing time, mostly. Letting my precious Pokemon have some fun and a bit of a run around, ya know." he said.
"Chuuuuuuuu!" Chu Chu squeaked in agreement, bobbing up and down. This action drew Joy to pounce on her and the two adorable Pokemon rolled over, then ran around, playing what looked like a game of 'tag'.
"I mean, if my Pokemon are happy then so am I." Danny commented.

Midnight came running from the forest to Leanna. When she found her there, passed out, she looked up at the two trainers. She growled and bit their pants and pulled, trying to get them to see Leanna and try to help her.

"You headed to Heathome? I live there, I could show you around... if you want," Kyle added quickly. "Jiggly!" The adorable fluffball cooed. "That's right- if you're gym battling, you should probably come back 'cause Fantia- gym leader- got sick. I'm over there a lot. The contest hall is here, too, and you can show off and see some seriously adorable pokemon. And we have the Pokemon fan club and the poffin house and-" Kyle was interrupted by something- or someone- crashing through the bushes.

Danny listened to Kyle intently, listening as Kyle explained what there was to see and do at Hearthome. Danny wasn't really into gym battling as such, so that aspect of the city didn't interest him much. The mention of the contest hall, the Pokemon Fan Club and, in particular, the poffin house, did peak his interest. He always liked to have fresh poffins for his Pokemon, and especially for Sally, who had something of an addiction to them.
"It would be nice to very visit Hearthome...hey, guys, what do you think of a visit to Hearthome City?" Danny said, the question directed at his Pokemon. Chu Chu hopped up and down, squeaking, and Joy mewed adorably. Meowsy purred, Sally flew up and latched onto Danny's head in a friendly way and Pixel squeaked. Danny laughed.
"I think they wanna go, too!" he said. Pixel, who happened to be the youngest of Danny's Pokemon, walked up to Kyle and nudged his leg, looking up at him with an adorable look on his face.
Meanwhile, Reila had been thinking over what in the world to say next when the Pokemon had emerged and started to tug at her jeans. Reila looked down.
"I think this Pokemon wants us to follow it." Reila commented. "Call it a hunch, but..."

"Oh my God, aren't you just adorable!" Kyle laughed to the tiny Eevee. "We should probably be going. It's getting close to rush hour in Heathome. It's a sight when it's busy; the lights shining and all of the pokemon and-" Kyle cut himself off, mentally scolding himself for going on like that. He probably seemed to be a fool. "There's also a nice park where pokemon can find some items to dress 'em up in. You wanna come, Absol?" The pokemon didn't respond. It glanced around, the moon shape on it's forehead began to slightly twitch. "Absol!" He urged, taking off about six bounds and waiting for the two. "Abs!" "We have to follow him. Sorry 'bout this, Jingle!" Kyle yelled, pulling the jigglypuff into a safari ball. "Get your pokemon and come on! Something very bad is about to happen here!"

Donna-Marie saw the wounded person and gasped in horror, realising that it was probably her and her Steelix that accidentally wounded them. She felt awful, absolutely awful, for allowing such a thing to happen. She just HAD to help! But how? Then she had an idea. Quickly, Donna-Marie sent out her Leafeon Axel.
"Axel, could you please use Synthesis to help this trainer?" Donna-Marie asked, to which her gentle Leafeon nodded and walked towards the injured person, gently crawling into their lap and curling up, his body glowing softly as the healing energy flowed from him into the injured human.
Meanwhile, Pixel loved the comment about his cuteness that Kyle gave him. He purred a little and Danny laughed a little under his breath. But when he and his new friend had to run in pursuit of the Absol, Danny had to recall his Pokemon to their Pokeballs (well, they were actually Luxury Balls). Chu Chu stayed out, though, hopping back onto Danny's shoulder and squeaking as they set off at a run after Kyle.
