Lyra gave a throaty laugh, and narrowed her eyes at the boy. She whipped out his dagger again, and pointed it at the boy's neck threateningly. '' Don't think I'm silly, you. You might me slightly taller than me, slightly older than me, but you're probably not more p*censored*ionate about keeping your loved ones safe than I am. Go, before I slice your throat,''

''Stop being silly, Lyra!'' said Nico,'' Not every Fire-bender is crooked, alright? You should be happy that he's being truthful. If he were so foul, wouldn't he have already killed us? Move that dagger away, Ly!''

Lyra did what her brother asked, but continued looking at the boy. Her ex
pression softened, however, when she realized that he wasn't doing anything harmful to them. She shrugged, but then heard a loud noise echoing through the forest, and it came from their right.

Lyra and Nico spun to their right, and saw a tall black-haired figure standing there, as if he were frozen to the spot. Lyra looked over at the Fire-bender, and said,'' You forgot to mention your name,'' She turned to the intruder, and yelled loudly,'' You! Who are you, and what do you want? Where did you come from? When did you come? Were you here all this while? Answer me in one word!''

He blinked, completely taken aback by this absolutely mad woman before him; then, at her obvious degression, he murmured, "Seth." and awaited the stranger's answer.

 He didn't expect much. Staring at Lyra, then at Nico, then back to Lyra, he said:

 "One word? Isn't that a little..." he looked at the stranger, bit his lip, and said, "cruel? I mean, you didn't even let me really...explain..." he stared at her again, remembered her erratic behahviour, and finished softly. "...myself."

Rei's head jerked to where the loud SNAP came from, her eyes fixed upon the black haired ,ale who was trying to be sneaky and walk away.

She gritted her teeth and drew a dagger from the gauntlet on her left hand, and a small kuni from the other.

"Start comming up this tree, I dare you." She thought to herself.

She knew he had seen her, but she also knew the others hadn't seen her yet.

"I'm a firebender, hopefully they won't be dumb and try to attack me, I'm really not in the mood right now." She muttered under her breath as she continued to watch.

Jenos stared at the feisty young girl,holding her dagger and pointing it at the neck of the boy in front of her.She looked insane,her hair astray,her hand gripping the dagger tightly.The younger boy next to her finally convinced her to move her dagger away.He was about to slip away but his escapade had been marred by the dry twigs underfoot.

The girl whipped her head towards the sound and glared at him.He was a bit baffled but he answered anyway. "One word? I'd need a mouth of a giant to reply to all that in one word.And anyway,Isn't it common courtesy to give you're name first before asking another who he or well...she is?Besides I'm not really in a mood to answer anymore." he replied.

Lyra smiled at Seth tightly, and said,''It's not cruel when you've got insane freaks running about and burning forests,''

She rolled her eyes at the black-haired boy's answer, and said,'' Listen, you aren't really in the situation to negotiate, are you? You might be a bender of any kind, you might be a skilled warrior, but haven't you learnt in that tribe of yours...It's always better to respect a young lady?,''

Nico rolled his eyes, but said,''I rarely do this, but my sister's right. You might as well tell her your name, otherwise we'll attract some crazy Fire-benders just with her yelling. I'm Nico, she's Lyra, and our friend here is Seth. Now, would you tell us your name, sir?''

Lyra stared at her brother, and said,'' Now, why don't you talk to me with such eloquence?''

Jenos folded his arms and leaned against the bark of the tree behind him.He scowled.He certainly didn't want to tell anyone his identity but he didn't have much of a choice.He looked at Nico and shrugged,"If she did end up screaming her lungs out,we'll all be in trouble,and I doubt she'd want that.The only person who would be happy with THAT is a firebender.Anyway,my names Jenos." Then he held out his hand towards Lyra in a sort of truce. Jenos' eyes went back to the girl sitting in the trees.He had half the mind to tell everyone about her but he changed his mind.She didn't seem to be a threat at the moment.

"Stop looking at me or I decentigrate you." Rei hissed under her breath.

She then heard a rustling in the leaves behind her and slowly turned her head to see a fat bird getting ready to land on the same branch she was on.

"No... Don't do it birdie..... This thing can barely hold me, let alone me and your fat butt...." She hissed, her eyes widened slightly as it got closer to landing.

"If it wouldn't give away my possition to every one, I'd launch a fireball at you right now." She muttered before looking back at the small group of people.

She felt the bird land on the branch. The weight wasn't a whole lot, but it was enough to snap the already weak branch.

CRACK! Echoes through the area as the branch snapped, Rei came down with it.

She landed nicely on the ground, but winced due to the pain of landing on her feet.

"Greeting~" She said with a smile, trying to seem friendly. "I'm Rei." She added before the crazy chick could press her for more information.

"And she's a fire bender." Another girl said as she lifted herself up onto one of the sturdy, thick branches that hung above every one else.

After she was perched on the branch, she waved her hand, allowing the vines she used to hoist herself up to return to their undisturbed state.
