As he walked down the sidewalk of the small town, Atreyu became aware that he was being followed. Deciding it would be best to try to shake off the stalker than to confront him, he abruptly turned the corner into an alley and walked right into an unexpected group of thugs. Atreyu turned to try to run, but he was then cut off by the man who was stalking him, another thug. "Well, what do we have here? A nice clean-cut kid like yourself should be worth a pretty penny to your parents." That was a laugh. Like his father would even give up a penny for him.

Atreyu glared at them. "My father does not negotiate with ignorance. You're better off selling soda cans if you want easy money." The men sneered. "Let's teach this punk a lesson. I don't like his attitude." All at once they swarmed him with their fists raised. Atreyu, in a panic, raised his hands in attempt to sheild himself and shut his eyes. Suddenly, his temperature dropped and every thug that layed a hand on him spontaneously turned into ice, a few even shattering into peices. In shock, Atreyu fell to the ground backwards with widened eyes. "What..What did I.." Unsure of what to do, Atreyu got up and ran. When he finally stopped, he was leaning up against a house, still shocked and confused and trying to catch his breath. Little did he know that the house was Sonali's home. (Yay. Finally caught up with everyone! -_-; hopefully.) |

Shadow looked out the window and saw someone,Atreyu. "I think we have a visitor. I'm gonna go check it out.",she suggested and then went out the door and walked towards Atreyu. "Hello?",she greeted and saw his confused face and wondered,'Has the same thing happened to him?'

Sonali followed shadow, "atreyu?" she asked. "um, well, I guess you can come in", she opened the door and waited for shadow and atreyu to come in. "it's getting dark", she said. She walked inside the house and went to get a glass of water.
(not totally sure what to say now, sorry it's short.)

Atreyu seemed to be trembling slightly and his eyes were fixed on his hands. "I..didn't mean to..I..It just.." He broke off when he finally realized that he was in the company of others. His pupils shrank and he backed up against the wall even more. "Don't touch me!"

Sonali looked at him, "Oh, I think he's afraid of us." , she said. "we're not going to hurt you, I'm just inviting you inside my house", she smiled gently. "do you want a glass of water", she asked him. She looked at atreyu, he looked like he was in shock. She wasn't quite sure why.

Shadow backed away from him to try and let him know they weren't going to hurt him and looked questioningly at his hands. 'I'm pretty sure he has just experienced what we have.',she thought as she continued to watch his hands silently.

After taking a moment to calm down, Atreyu finally regained his composure, altogether looking like a completely different person now. His ex
pression still held a bit of confusion, but it was now aware and a bit cold. His pupils went back to their normal size and his breathing slowed. "I did something that I cannot wrap my head around. A group of men came after me...but when they touched me.." He looked down at his hands again. "They all turned into ice." He looked over at them, his ex
pression never changing. "I apologize for my behavior. I know that I must sound insane. Perhaps I am." He turned without another word said and began to walk away from them.

She looked at him and then at noctis and shadow, "very strange as a matter of fact, do you think there is a connection between the two events?", she looked at him again. Atreyu shook his head and then continued off. He felt hardened, as if his heart had spontaneously turned into ice like those men. It was like he was numb. Along with this, his body began to feel like it could not get cool enough, and he could not understand why. He began wandering towards no place in particular, trying to think things through, until he eventually entered the park.
(I'm going to catch up with Rika's characters. I'll bring him back around, though.) |

Elros stilled when he felt someone else coming near, his scarlet eyes widening in alarm as he turned around, a soft wind beginning to blow as clouds began to form in the sky above. He let out a soft growl, missing him as he cocked his head, waiting, watching, for a threat to make itself known to the albino boy. He had been subjected to bullying for his entire life, he had to be cautious by nature.
