Dusk led them into a marshy territory, stepping over mounds where she had burried her entire pack. she had done it by herself, not even her mate ahd survived. Tears dripped onto the mound that held her mate and she wiped them away with her paw. She kept walking...

Zep looked around. Many mounds were scattered around the land. "Is this your pack?" she asked sniffing one of the mounds.
