Ridge nodded and left the room. He walked through the corridors and searched the halls. He made his way down to the gardens and saw Daphne sitting by the pond. "Daphne?" he said. She turned around. "Arabella got in a, um, accident and now she's in the infirmary." he said. Daphne looked shocked, then angry. "Why didn't you tell me sooner?!" she scolded "What happened?" "She, erm, fell of the tower..." he said quietly. Daphne got up immediately and sprinted up to the castle. She knocked on the infirmary door. Ridge hurried behind her. |
