Arabella paused for a moment before grinning. "Oh, okay," she said, "You have a horse?" She looked up at Matthew with interest. Arabella had two horses back in Attalia, and she only wished she could have taken them with her to Relkinshire. |

"Her name is Silvia." Matthew said with a small smile as he ran a hand though his hair, "She has a grey coat and a black muzzle. She's simply a dear.". He then crossed his arms and looked out the window, "I have a stallion too but he didn't travel with us."
"I am Sky. I am the son of Ingrid and Lucifer Kilzone." Sky said with a small bow.
"I am Winter of the kingdom Valen." Winter said with a small smile, "But must we be so formal? We are amongst our peers are we not? Surely we can take this night to act...common?"

Ridge looked surprised at Sky's fathers name, but said nothing of it. Daphne smiled in agreement. "Why not?" she said wholeheartedly, "I rather feel like having some dinner. Do you think we should eat now?" She smoothed a few wrinkles down the front of her dress.

"Hello, Tomix, I'm Arabella, from Attalia," Arabella replied, grinning widely, "My sister and brother are here too, 'cause of the war." She was obviously happy at finding a new friend. Especially one as nice as Tomix.

"Well then it's settled," Daphne said, and began leading the way towards the table on which the food was held. Ridge was glad Daphne hadn't suggested dancing, though he suspected he might have been the reason why. He followed her over to the table.
Daphne turned around and asked, "Ridge, could you please find us a nice table? Make sure there's enough seats, won't you?" She saw that some of the banquet tables were occupied, and thought it best that they take their seats before everyone else decided it was time for dinner.
Ridge nodded. "Could you bring me something good to eat?" he asked, and Daphne nodded. "How about roast beef and steamed vegetables?" she offered, and he nodded eagerly.
Ridge turned back around and made his way towards a large table with no one at it. He took a seat and waited for the others to join him with their food.

Matthew motioned over at his brother with his left hand, "My brother Matthew is seated over there." he said with a small frown, "He had asked me not to approach you because he had seen you licking your hand. But I of course thought that this certainly cannot be true. One as charming as yourself would simply not do that sort of thing, right?"
Winter followed after Ridge and took a seat next to him, "I didn't want you to be lonely over here." she said with a small smile.
Sky walked to the table which held the food, "There are simply so many choices." he said, "What ever shall I have?"

Arabella's eyes widened, and shook her head fervently. "No, no, of course not," she lied through her teeth, "Licking one's hands isn't polite nor ladylike, so I'd never do that." Oh dear, she thought, if he saw, what if other people did too? And who knows what would she would do if Daphne found out.

Ridge stared at Winter like a deer in range of an arrow, unaccustomed to the attention. "Oh, um, okay. Thank you," he said, flustered. He tucked in his chair and twiddled his thumbs. He looked at Winter again and forced a little smile back. |

Matthew looked over at Tomix before smiling at Arabella, "I told that silly brother of mine." he said with a small laugh. She really isn't the brightest girl he thought with a small smirk, "He needs glasses."
Winter placed her hands in her lap and waited for Sky and Daphne to return, "It's quite a pain to wait isn't it?" she said with a small laugh.

Daphne picked bits and pieces from the many bowls and platters, filling up both hers and Ridge's plates with a delicious selection of food. She spotted Arabella and called over to her, "Arabella! Do you want to come eat with us?"
Arabella turned to see Daphne, and smiled. Finally, it was dinner time. She turned back to Matthew and asked enthusiastically, "Do you want to join us? I'm sure you'll get along with Daphne and Ridge just fine!" She grinned at him, hoping he'd say yes.

Matthew looked at her and gave a small nod, "Why it would be an honor to dine with a lady such as yourself." he said, "And I'm sure your siblings are just as charming as you are."
Sky finished filling his plate with cakes and sweets before taking a seat next to Winter at the table. He gazed at the cheese cake that took center stage on his plate, "You my dear will be greatly enjoyed." he said with a grin.

Arabella smiled wider and blushed slightly. She took a plate and quickly filled it with all sorts of sweet things before leading the way to the table to join the others.

Daphne handed Ridge his plate, and he grinned at the amount of food Daphne had gotten him. She sat down with her own plate. When Daphne saw Sky's sugar-filled plate, she gave him a look of bemused disbelief, and jested, "Is it normal in Kilzone to have dessert as dinner?" She cut off a piece of roast beef and stabbed it lightly with her fork. She brought it up to her mouth and ate it. |

Whether we wanted it or not, we\'ve stepped into a war with the Cabal on Mars. So let\'s get to taking out their command, one by one. Valus Ta\'aurc. From what I can gather he commands the Siege Dancers from an Imperial Land Tank outside of Rubicon. He\'s well protected, but with the right team, we can punch through those defenses, take this beast out, and break their grip on Freehold.

"Tis a rare treat to have such fine treats as dinner." Sky said before cutting a bit of brownie with his fork, "But since I am treating myself it shall be allowed."
Matthew filled his plate with savory food before following after Arabella.
Tomix rose from his seat and followed Matthew with his gaze, "What is he doing?" he muttered.

Rika realized that she might as well do something she opened her book and straightened out her dress. To be honest a ball was a ball and whether or not you were going with someone, it was polite to attend. She sat down at an empty table and got herself a little something to eat. As long as she was going she might as well enjoy this a little. She smiled and picked up her fork, it was good to eat something.

Arabella pulled out a chair to sit down, brushing her dress under her legs. She tucked herself into the table, and got Daphne's attention. "Daph, this is Tomix," she said, motioning to Matthew, "He's from the kingdom Drentes." "Very pleased to meet you Tomix," Daphne said with a broad smile, though she was a little confused, "I take it Arabella has told you I am her sister?"
Her parents had shown her pictures of all the royals that would also be staying in the castle, and she was almost certain that who stood before her was Matthew Drentes, not Tomix Drentes. She thought it best not to say anything, though. She was probably mistaken, and had gotten the two brothers mixed up in her memory.

Madison jumped as a cat flew past her, dancing around the legs of people. Why is there a cat here? she wondered. She followed it, creeping on her tip toes and weaving through the crowd. She tried to get it's attention by clicking her tongue and making mouse sounds. The stray cats back in her kingdom always came when she did that. "'Ere, kitty!" she called softly.

Ebony continued to dart through the crowd, swiping at a few ankles for good measure. She glanced over her shoulder when she noticed the person pursuing her. She dived under a table and turned to face the direction she had come in. Let's see how good you are with cats.
Wharshin nodded. "Thank you. The news my people receive from the outer worldIis little, but I have heard of your kingdom as well." He studied Renia and Valkyrie breifly. "They appear to be happy."
