Jason woke up as soon as he heard the distant rooster crowing in the distance. As always Zues bolted up and went to the window howling along with the rooster's crow. Jason groaned and clicked his tongue at Zues ordering him to stop. Instead Zues disobeyed and jumped out of the window chasing after chickens. "Zues!" he yelled but he kept running. "Great at least theres gonna be more chicken to eat." he murmered. He then got dressed and put on his brown cowboy hat. He smelled bacon and coffe and he sure needed the coffe after a long night of off no rest because of Zues. Jason stumbled into the kitchen like a drunk man and plopped down into his seat nearly falling asleep again. "Darn pup didnt give me any sleep last night.." he grumbled. "Mornin by the way.." he said

Spirit chuckled a bit and rubbed her head. "Mornin Jason" she said and took a seat at the main end of the table. "Cattle stocks are getting lower... Their's only thirty cattle stock now..." she sighed and rested her hand on her for head and looked at Russ and Jason. "Is work goin good for yall?" she asked. She began to think of her four horses. She then rested her hand back on the flat surface if the table. She looked down at te surface and let out a small sigh as she changed from thinking of her horses to the cattle.

Jason leaned back on his chair and covered his face with his hat. "Well it feels like plowing just gets harder and harder each day. Unlike 'Mister Fancy Chef' over there." he chuckled. He then fell his chair slipping as he rocked back and firth and fell out of his chair landing on top of a leg. "Ah! Stupid chair.." he mumbled and kicked it. He then rubbed his back and felt a bruise. "Speaking of that. One of the horses threw me off yesterday. I was just beginin' to brush him when he merely kicked me in the stomach. Good thing his dung was there to land on -.-.." he said in a joking manner. Jason then picked up the chair and set it back into place. "So what about your horses darling?" he asked Spirit giving her a flirty smile

She raised an eyebrow at his flirty smile and blushed slightly. "Their uh, their okay I guess?" she replied. She bit her lip and turned her head "I think Chessie's pegger's though.." she chuckled. She then turnned her head back towards him with a smile. "Annd I bet you can't guess who the sire is?" she chuckled.

Jason slipped out of his imagination. "Oh um.. yea of course I do!" he said quickly. "Its uh.." he mumbled trying to think. "Uh chef wheres my coffee?" he said trying to change the topic

Zala woke up to the sound of Jason's dog like always. She walked out side to see him flirting with, yet, another girl. "Give it up already." She said as she walked between the two. For some reason she had always hated guys. She wasn't bisexual, she just didn't like guys. Zala always thought they were too cocky about themselves and think they can get any girl. She sighed and grabbed her basket to pick the corn. It was fresh and in season at the moment, and it was her job to collect them. Her kitten trotted behind her while she headed into the fields. Zala's short hair flowed in the wind. Chrono, her kitten, fell over in the gust of wind. Zala kneeled down and quietly giggled as she picked her up and cradled the small cat. Chrono was Zala's one happiness.

Jason blushed a bit when Zala told him to give it up. "Why you jealous?" he asked smiling. "Why dont you stop for breakfast? Ill give you my chair if ya want!" he called after her. He knew he was joking around with them but it was fun to mess with Zala sometimes.

"Me jealous over you? You wish lover boy." She quickly turned away from him. "And I'm skipping breakfast like always. I get much more work done this way." She replied to him. Zala knew she had this job for her father and not her. He needed the money, although he mostly just bought liquor and cigarettes. She felt pity towards him though. Every mounth she would send him her payment. All of it. Zala knew he was a lost cause, but with him was her younger brother, and she needed him to be safe.

She chuckled and once Zala walked between the two, her smile faded and she raised an eye brow, her whiskey colored eyes following her movement. She hated when people would break the fun. She really couldn't stand it. She was the type to mess around and do things she wasn't supposed to, she was mostly serious about her work with the cattle and horses. "I'm going to skip breckfast also, I have to wrok with the cattle, and see if I can raise the limit.." she sighed and walked out. She walked over to the barns with her mares were and went inside. She walked to Jojo's stall and sighed. Jojo wasn't just a horse to help kids learn, Jojo was a work horse, for the cattle and others. She was a barrel racer also.. Marie grabbed Jojo's tack and her lead. She walked into Jojo's stall and hooked the lead rope to her. She then pulled Jojo out. Marie tied the mare to her stall door and began to tack Jojo up. Marie's stomach growled but she ignored it. She crawled into the saddle and leaned up and untied the lead rope. She then leaned back and nudge her heels into the sides of the mare and pulled back on the reins, causing Jojo to back up. She then turned Jojo around and nudged her heels back into the mares sides again, causing Jojo to trot out.

((Meh! Guys slow down >_< Some of us have work))
"Work's going okay," Russ replied over his mug. "It would be going better if Jason stopped making goo-goo eyes at the girls all the time though."
When Jason started leaning pacariously on the back legs of his chair, Russ saw the perfect oprotunity to make him fall flat on his face, litterally. Carefully the older boy stuck out his foot and gave the chair a quick jab. The disired effect left Jason scrambling on the floor and Russ roaring with laughter.
Soon after Zala and Maggie dashed out of the room rufusing breakfast for the day. Elliot's heart started to ache. He could handle the other's teasing about him not doing as much work, he knew they weren't right (he'd like to see them try and keep this kitchen in tip top shape and everyone well feed for one day), but when they skipped meals it pained him more than anything.
"Wait girls!" he cried, runni g out the room waving a spatula. "You need your strength!" But it was too late, they were already out of earshoot.
Sulking the cook returned to the kitchen. He poured Jason a cup of coffee and prepared him and Russ a hefty plate of bacon, eggs, toast, and pancakes. He then started to prepare plates for the other in a much less chipper mood than he had been a few minutes ago. |

Jason chuckled. "Ah come on! What good is being stuck on a farm if ya cant?" he said jokingly. He then took a sip out of his coffee and it burnt his tongue. "Ah! Geez is everything going at me today?!" he shouted and he bit down on his tongue. Json then saw Elliot try to stop the girls to eat breakfast. "Just leave em' let them starve if they want to. If they do its their fault for not eating." he said. His coffee then cooled down a bit and he drank from it. Zues then came running into the kitchen barking crazily as a chicken chased him around. "Zue-" he began but Zues jumped on Jason causing him to spill the hot coffe all over himself. Jason then lt out a roar of pain.

Cian rubbed the sleep out of his eyes, heading for the kitchen. Rory had woken him by barking a welcome to Zeus and he'd had a restless night from getting Fall to sleep. He walked from Rory's kennel, where he;d spen his night, towards the kitchen. He padded lightly into it and found Jason and Elliot. Personally, he liked Elliot, but he didn't feel as close with Jason. He held out his hand for a coffe from Elliot.

When Elliot heard another set of foot steps on the stairs, he was ready to welcome the new comer with a mug of coffee in one hand and a plate of breakfast in the other. Luckily it was Cain that had walked through the door and not someone who preferred tea or hot chocolate with their meal.
"Morning Cain," he said offering him a hot mug and plate."You might want to eat quickly, some of the others have started their day already."
Russ let out another short laugh when Jason's dog Zues, the farm's own personal trouble maker, bounced ontop of his master causing food and coffee to fly everywhere.
"Jason! Zues!" Elliot roared brandishing his beloved spatula and trying to chase the purl strafed out. "How many times have I told you to keep that beast out of my kitchen!"
"You'll right buddy?" Russ asked, standing up and offering a hand for his fallen comrade. "Cain," he called across the room without waiting for a response. "You seen any of the girls this morning? Only two have come by here so far, and didn't stay long enough for me to ask of there was anything we needed from town." |

Cain grinned at Elliot and dug in, pausing when Russ asked him a question. "No." His answer was short, as ussual. Fall had crept up on him, trying to eat off his plate. "Elliot, can I grab somthing for the dogs???" He asked, shooing Rory away playfully.

Jason stood up grunting as Zues began licking the coffee off the ground. Itbwas his ntual way of cleaning up. "Uh sorry Elliot. But he just burst in without me knowing!" he shouted as he scooped up Zues. Jason then threw Zues outside and he ran towards the cows. Zues's favorite cow was Cally, she was always happy to see them both and sometimes Zues played wit her uttes trying to grab some milk. Jason sighed and walked outside. "Ill head out to work then." he said and closed the door behind him

Marie and Jojo walked to the cattle padok and Marie let out a sigh. Just thinkin that the cattle stock was low, and that it was going to be hard to get them back up made her slightly mad. Her stomach growled again and finally she ddcided to ride back to the kitchen and grab a bite of food before she began work. She and jojo rode to the kitchen. Marie tied jojo to the tie infront of the kitchen. She walked in let out a loud sigh. " I suppose I can take some food..."

Zala sat by the corn and sighed. She didn't skip breakfast just to work more, but she was also scared of the guys. Maybe not scared, but nervous. She looked at Chrono as she trotted up to her. "I wish I wasn't so nervous around guys... You understand don't you Chrono?" Zala patted her head. She might seem cool and annoyed around them, but its all an act guarded by a brick wall to her true feelings.

Ronni woke up with a start the sound of both barking and screaming ringing in her ears, she
shouted from her cabin "Can you guys keep it down, im tryng to enjoy my first ever lie-in in
peace." She then ran to the kitchen staring the food and then to the chef,"Well what are you waiting for? Thorn can't wait all morning for his ride, now can he? And besides my stomack is in pain!" She let out as she grabbed the last chair ,twizzled it around, and sat on it how you sit on a horse, rocking like mad. She then waited for the boys to talk.
