Ronni wiped away a tear and then turned to Elliot and said," Yea, I suppose your right. Besides thats what friends are for, hey!" She then sipped her tea and let out a calm sigh as the warm sensation rushed through her throught. When she had finished all her breakfast she blew Elliot a kiss and strode to her cabin to change into her day clothes. As Ronni was a small teen she was able to ride on her Shetland pony Thorn like a normal horse/pony. As it was a rther hot day Ronni decided to wear a strappy orange top and some camo shorts and gathered her riding hat and some sugar lumps for Thorn.

Zala glared at Jason. "This isn't a date." She hissed and looked away. Honestly, Zala didn't understand why Jason asked her to 'hang out'. She was always so cold towards guys. Same went for Russ. Though he seemed more calm and not all over every girl he saw. Zala looked at Jason. "Why?" She asked, knowing he would know what she meant. She wanted an answer.

Jason let out a small laugh. "I-I knew that." he said blushing a bit. He then heard Zala ask why he wanted to hang out with her. "Um, well because.. you're always alone. So I thought it'd be nice if you and I could hang out." he said scratching the back of his head nervously. Jason realized he actually had a crush on Zala. Which was weird because it looked like she hated him. Jason took a glance out the window and saw Zues chasing cows around. He made a worried look and stood up out of his chair. "Um Ill be right back!" he shouted and ran out the door. His hat feel off as he ran towards Zues. "Zues!" he yelled. Jason then grabbed Zues before a bull had a chance to buck him. He then ran bck to his cabin. "Bad boy! Thats it Im tieing you up." he said. Jason then tied a rope around Zues neck and wrapped it around his bed tightly. Zues whimpered as Jason walked out of his cabin. He took a look at himself and realized he looked like a mess. Before he reached the cafeteria he grabbed his hat which fell in the mud. "Great.." he muttered before walking in.

(whooooa i am behind! cant be bothered to read all of it so can somebody give me a recap?)
Storme opened an eye, then the other. she had the biggest lie in ever- it was practically all day. she saw the hooked beak and staring eyes of a confused looking hawk. "sorry girl." she whispered and stroked Ivory. Ivory squawked and nipped Stormes nose, making her laugh. she held her hand out for the bird to stand on, and the white angel hopped happily onto her perch. Storme lazily strutted halfway downstairs, then stopped. she sat down. "girl." she whispered. "how long have i slept? i dont want to look like an idiot to the others."
All Ivory could do to reply was screech. she flew downstairs and landed on a chair in the kitchen. the smell of leftover eggs and bacon wafted loomingly in the air. ivory snatched some bacon fat and leftover egg whites to guzzle as a small breakfast/lunch/dinner- whatever the time was. Storme ran after her bird and grabbed her quickly. "dont do that again," he breathed. As she was having buisness looking after Ivory, Stormes wolf hybrid timmy stood barking and scratching at the door. Storme responded quickly and opened the door, and the giant mutt came panting at her feet. "love you boy." she shouted, as timmy attacked her face with a loving wet tongue. Storme then realised everybody else staring at her strange entrance. she blushed and then stared at them back, using her creepy looks to give revenge.

She chuckled at him and shook her head. "Okay then." she said and turnned back towards the door. "Wanna help get Street pumped after you eat?" she offered, hoping to hear yes or sure at least...

"I'm sure she's still in my room," Elliot told Cain, looking confusedly at the door Ronni just exited. That girl was an emotional train wreck, always keeping you on your toes. "She's not a fan of the dogs, and they've been coming in and out all day long now."
He wasn't worried about his cat. It wasn't uncommon for her to disappear for long periods of time and return with her breath reeking of rat and mice. Not that she needed more food, Elliot was always feeding her left overs just like the boys did with their dogs too. It seemed like he made food for every animal and human on this plot of land.
As Elliot ponder the seer amount of food that he made, a white bird flew in, snatching up some extra that had been left out. Strome burst into the kitchen after her pet, reprimanding her for her theft.
"Don't worry about it," Elliot said with a slight chuckle in his voice. "Everyone seems to be doing that today."
Russ put the last piece of corn that would fit into his basket. The rest of the farm seemed to be winding down and heading back to the kitchen once more. He walked past Jason and Zala,whose outing did not seem to going well so far. Jason was covered in dirt from head to toe. He pushed open the door to the room full of people and animals, and sat down quietly. |

Zala sighed as Jason walked back in. "Really?" She said and looked away. As she looked away she saw Russ enter the kitchen and sit down not to far from her. She looked at him for a few seconds. Hopping he didn't notice, she quickly turned back to Jason. "So tell me again. What was the point of this?" she crossed her arms. "You have plenty of other girls that crawl all over you anyways. Why'd you have to bother the one that wants nothing to do with you?" She hissed and got up out of her chair.
((Don't take it personally sly-chan! Zala is just like that towards guys... Well most of them. ^.^'))

(( its cool brah I dont take things to reality anyway :P)) Jason widened his eyes as Zala began to get out of her chair. "Whoa'whoa wait!" he exclaimed. He then grabbed her by the shoulder and looked into her eyes. Akwardly, he looked away and took a glance at Russ. What if she doesnt even like you? What if she likes Russ instead?.. His consciounce told him. Jason grew a bit angry but kept it inside. "Look the reason why I 'bothered' you is because.. I uh.. l-lo...." his voice started to trail off. Though for some reason he was too embaressed to say he loved her. He nervously dusted his clothes off and blushed a bit. Then waited for Zala to respond to his lame reply

Zala smaked his hand of her shoulder. "Don't touch me!" She yelled and ran off. She was terrified and didn't know what to do. She ran into the fields, hopping Jason would find her. She huddled in a ball and kept completely silent. Even her breathing was almost erased from sound. Zala held her head with her hand and whispered under her breath. "Idiot. Hes an Idiot." she repeated. Her whole body was shivering and her eyes were closed tightly.

Jason startled at Zala slapping his hand. He stared as she ran into the field. He started to follow her but had the feeling he shouldnt. Jason grew angry and turned to Russ. His first thought was to pound him. Jason raised his fist above Russ but sighed and pulled his hand down. "You're lucky this time..." he growled then walked into his cabin. Zues was fast asleep and Jason slammed his hat on the floor. "Dammit!" he screamed and punch the wood wall. He pulled his fist back and realized he made a hole in it. "Im so sorry Zala.." he mumbled

Russ watched the whole Jason/Zala altercation with only slight interest. The only reason he paid attention to any kind of drama on the farm was to try to avoid it from happening. Like he told Zala earlier, he liked it when everyone was happy better.
The grand fianally of the argument was for Zala to run out of the room and for Jason to turn on Russ as if he wanted to start a fight. The young man was so shocked by the outcome that he didn't react to Jason's fist above his head. When Jason also stormed out, Russ turned to the kitchen at large.
"What the heck did I do?" he wondered. He stood up, not sure if he should run out and comfort Zala, or chase after Jason and figure out what was going on. "Uggg!" he yelled and sat back down, putting his face in his hands. |

Cain grinned at Ever. "Sure." He said, leaning back in his chair. He watched Zala and Jason have some sort of episode with mild interest, but not real happiness nor sadness. He liked Zala, as a friend, but didn't want to be like Jason had, and completely blow it. And he liked Jason as a guy, but not as much as Elliot. He sighed. "Right, cause no one else is going." He said, gritting his teeth and walking out the door. He got to Jason's cabin and knocked on the door.
((Don't push him away, Sly. He won't do this for anyone else but Elliot.))

Jason heard knocking on the door and hesitated to get the door. He realized he still had his dirty clothes on along with his muddy hat but he didnt care anymore. His hand reached for the doorknob, "What do you want? Not in a very good mood guy." he said bitterly. Jason realized it was Cain. Cain was a good guy but he want in the mood for even his kindness. "W-What is it Cain?" he asked now acting calm. He looked back at the hole he punched in the wall and sighed as he hid the hole from Cains vision.

Cain eyed Jason. "I thought about seeing Zala, but she'll take care of herself, and you'll beat yourself up." He said, stepping into the room. He looked around for Zues as Fall and Rory padded in, sniffing and licking Jason, before laying down. Cain grinned, sitting down and kicking hi feet up.

Jason smiled a bit and stared at the hole in the wall. He quickly put a picture over the hole and smild wide as if nothing hapoened. "So how you like my new.. picture?" he said trying to stall. Zues woke up after Fall and Rory came in. He then struggled to be set free and Jason let him off the rope. Jason wiped away the licks as Zues barked playfully at Fall and Rory. "And why would you think Id beat myself up huh? Wait so have you seen Zala around? I need to apoligize soon." he said

Cain grinned to himself. "Fine, it's good. And the evidence beneath is why you'll beat yourself up." He let the grin show. "I don't think Zala wants to see you, though." He watched Zues as Fall and Rory lay beside him. They then got up and lay beside Zues.

Jason sighed and removed the picture. "Um yea.. guess you're right." he sighed and sat down in a chair across from Cain. "But why do you even care? Ive never really talked to you before. And you seem a bit threatened by me sometimes." he laughed. Zues settled by Fall and Rory and fell asleep.

"Well, Zala is kinda my friend. And if you wanna see if I'm afraid of you, we'll fight." Cain shrugged. He was a big guy, and used to fighting to get what he need, so he'd do it. He chose to let that show in his eyes along with a dangerous light. Together they made the blue in them seem to glow. He watched Jason out o the corner of his eye as he smiled at Rory and Fall going to sleep by Zues.

Jason felt a bit threatened by Cains suggestion in fighting him. He made a fake cough and stood up. "Yea well I wouldnt want to start one now. Haha by the way Im sure you really dont want to fight me right now. Maybe you should check on Zala now." he said acting a bit cocky. Jason was prepared to fight, he could blow off some steam from earlier if it was nessecary.

Lifting his head up from his hands, Russ turned to Eilliot who was leaning up against the stove with his arms crossed. The slightly younger boy was an unnatural sorce of advice for when things turned sour. He hadn't seen much of life, but he knew people.
"Elliot what do I do?" Russ asked him.
The boy in the hat looked up at the ceiling for a moment thinking. He nodded to the door finally saying, "Go find Zala. If I know Cain like I think I do, he's gone to talk some sense into Jason."
Russ gave a quick nodd of thanks to his friend and went out of the kitchen. He had no idea where Zala could be. He first headed for her cabin and knocked on the door. The lights were off and there was no responce. Then we went to the barn, looking in the stalls and behind hay stacks. He called her name a few times with the same effect. The only other place he had ever seen her on their huge farm was out in the fields.
The corn fields looked very different in the dim light. It almost could have been frightening if Russ hadn't know the place inside and out. He picked a row at random and waded his way through the tall staks.
"Zala!" he called. "Can you hear me? Where are you?" |
