Cain growled and stood. "You wanna fight pretty boy? I'll fight." He said. Rory got up instantly, after years attuned to Cain's feelings. Fall was only seconds later both wore worried expressions. Cain was an exellent fighter, but they were more worried for Jason. Their master was easy to anger, and often forgot about his friendships with the opponent. They prayed Elliot would come, he was the only one Cain never forgot about.

Jason gave Cain a sly smile. He forgot about everything even Zala. "Yea well Im sure I can agree with that.." he said slyly. Jason then swung a fist at him and attempted to kick him in the gut. Zues was already up and barking. He was never in this situation before and he was only a puppy anyway. Zues ran out of the cabin and to the kitchen looking for Elliot. When he found him he barked loudly trying to get him to follow

Cain easily dodged the two, in his vision, clumsey strikes and responded with two solid jabs. Behind his emotionless mask, he was raging. How dare he hurt Zala and the fellow farmers. How dare he try to hit me. Cain growled inwardly and kicked Jason in the knee. Fall and Rory ran outside, chasing after Zues to help get Elliot.

Jason felt the pain in his knee and let out a groan of pain. He then punched Cain on the lip hardly. He remembered being in some fights before so it wasnt like it was his first time. He then saw Zues and the other dogs run out but he didnt care. Jason then pushed Cain into the wall.

Cain grinned to himself as he was pushed against the wall. He punched Jason in the temple, hard. It must of hurt, because it forced Jason to loosen his grip and that was when he really struck. Cain dipped hs shoulder low, ramming it into Jason's gut. Then he twisted out of Jason's grip completely and rammed a punched into Jason's kidney. He picked Jason up, threw him against the wall and looked down at him. "Why on earth would I be afraid of you." He spat. Why on earth would I care? He thought.
((Ok, don't beat the bejeebes out of him, he won't let you, but be knocked out. You won't see Cain but he'll run away and be there.))

Jason felt pain all over his body and blood running from his lip. He looked up at Cain now glaring. He now felt defeated but he didnt want it to be that way. He reluctantly stood up wobbling feeling like a drunk man. Jason threw his hands on the wall trying to balance himself. He grew angry and punch Cain in the jaw. "Just leave before I do any real damage.." he said threatingly an evil smile playing across his face. Jason then reached for his pocket knife and pointed it at Cain. (( mkay lets wait for the others then o-o))

(Wow! Theres been like 2 pages since I last posted yesterday!)
As Ronni was trotting back to her cabin on Thorn she saw Zala storm out of the kitchen and wondered what her problem was. She then jumped off Thorn and walked him to his stable where she brushed him then went to her cabin and changed into some clean clothes. When she had changed and brushed her hair and put it into a bun ahe skipped over t the kitchen and pushed open the door and said " Hey guys, whats the problem with Zala? Just watched her run out of here and run offf into the corn field." She then turned to Storme and her beautiful bird and gently stoked it under its belly "Thats one magnificent creature you got there!" She then went over to Elliot and asked,"Whats for dinner Elli?" She then took a chair and sat down next to Storme and stroked her bird for a bit.

Zala heard Russ call out to her. She hesitated to answer. "W-what do you want?!" She called out. Zala sat against a large broken-down tractor that was always in the middle of the field. She felt it was a stupid place to hide if you knew your way around the fields. A lot of works didn't work in the farm that much or at all. Zala felt Chrono rub against her legs. She picker her up and held her in her arms. "At least you understand."

Storme stared at Ronni and silently watched as she stroked Ivory. Ivory gently nipped Ronni on the finger, clearly disliking being stroked. Timmy, on the other hand, jumped up and licked Ronnis face with a panting smile. Storme slightly smiled then commanded Ivory to go and perch on the tap handle. Storme smiled and looked down.

Russ heard Zala speaking from somewhere in front of him. She must have gone to the very heart of the field then. All the rows of corn lead to the same place, a huge abandoned tractor smack dap in the middle. It had broken down one year and they were preparing the field for seeds, and they decided that they didn't want to move the feild when they were half way done preparing it.
He pushed the last stalk of corn out of the way. Zala was curled up against the tractor, hands wrapped around her knees. Russ stuck his hand in his pockets and leaned up against the tractor next to the girl with glasses.
"I just wanted to make sure you're alright is all," he told her fidgeting with the coin around his neck. "Jason didn't mean anything by it. He likes to act cool, but really he's never been with a girl in his life. So don't be too mad at the idiot."
Elliot looked over at Ronni saying, "We're having the chicken Zues killed earlier today, on a bed of..." The boy trailed off when the barking started. The dogs were going mad outside the kitchen. Zues burst in followed closely by Fall and Roy, but without Cain and Jason.
"Oh no..." Elliot muttered as they hopped back and forth in front of him. Those boys never let their dogs out of their sight. He ran out of the kitchen, yelling over his shoulder, "Where to boys?"
The trio of dogs quickly caught up with Elliot and lead him over to Jason's cabin. The sounds of scuffling and things breaking reached the cook's ears just before he opened the door with a loud "BANG!" In front of him Cain and Jason were standing on opposite sides of the room. Jason looked a little worse for wear with his bloody lip and hanging onto the wall for support. Cain hand one hand over his stomach as if Jason had gotten at least one good punch in.
"What do you think you're doing?" Elliot cried walking in between the two. "I told Russ you were going to talk some sense into Jason, not beat the crap out of him!"
He walked over to Jason and pushed the boy's hair out of his face, trying taken what the damage was. "Cain, Jason is your brother, how could you do this to him? We all came to farm this farm because we didn't belong in the place we were before, for whatever reason. So we came here, and made a family with other people that didn't belong." |

Marie watched what all was going on and she let out a loud sigh. Their wasn't really any fights here, they were rare.. Not counting the three she'd been in.... She walked to the barn, not wanting to go check on the guys, or any one eles. She walked to Fly's stable and grabbed his tack. She lied the tack on the door and opened it, being greeted with a nip to the shoulder by the morgan stallion. She pulled him out by his halter and pulled back on it, once he was out, motioning him to halt, and stay. She tacked the stallion up and climbed onto the saddle. She grabbed the reins and nudged her heels into the stallions sides, telling him to move. They trotted out, Marie figuring they should go for a trail ride.

Jason growled after Elliot came in. "He is not my brother! I dont know why 'family' is important anyway! Just wait until they turn their back on you like Cain here!" he screamed. He wiped the blood off his lip and stood up straight now. "Amd he didnt beat the crap outta me. I was about to take care of him myself!" he growled. He then thought about what would Zala think if she found out Jason did this. "You know what, forget this! (( meant to say the other word .-.)) Im going out!" he shouted and stormed out of his own cabin. Zues attempted to follow him but was told to go back. Zues did as he was told and walked back to the cabin with his tail between his legs and his ears back. Jason walked out of the farms property and into the woods nearby. He liked to go there and blow off some steam sometimes. "Why dont I just run away instead of staying at this hellish place.." he asked himself

Marie rode off into the mountian's, to her own secret trail. Hopping no one would see her, her and fly galloped to the side of a mountian and up the side.

Zala looked up at Russ. She slowly stood up and bit her lip. "Can I tell you something?" She asked nervously. It felt as if there was a rock in her throat. "I-I'm..." She paused as soon as she began. Zala took a deep breath and stared again. "I'm afraid of boys..." She hid her face in her hands. She didn't want Russ to see her in tears. Zala knew he wouldn't understand. Its not like he could possibly be afraid of guys, he is one. She thought to herself.

Cain growled, after Jason left, staying silent throughout the confrontation with Elliot. "You know what, I'm done." He said, his voice tinged with sadness. He'd threatened to run away, but this time, he was serious about it. And he knew Elliot could tell. Fall whimpered and put his paws on Cain's shins. Cain shook his head, walking out of the battered cabin, towards the place where the dogs slept. Once inside, he grabbed all of his stuff and headed out towards the field, because Jason had headed the other way. He whistled, Fall, Rory and about half of the farm dogs came, as he reached the middle of the field.

After a while of aitting against a tree Jason saw Cain head out in the oppisite direction. "Its about time.." he mutterd to himself. He then began walking back into the farms territory when he heard Zala and Russ voices. He stopped in his track and turned around to see what hey where talking about. Jason felt like showing himself and apoligizing to Zala and Russ for the way he acted but then took a look at himself. Blood was at his lip again, he had a black eye, and bruises everywhere. Jason sighed nd hid in the shadows. He attempted to run off avoiding Zala and Russ but tripped ove a large rock. He fell with a satisfying thump and tried to hold in the hurt. Instead he let out a little moan and clenched his teeth tightly together as he rubbed his injured ankle. He hoped they hadent heard him trip and fall for his own sake.

Cain froze at the sound of the thud. He turned around and jogged lightly to Jason's prone figure and scowled. He looked at Rory who gazed back at him. he sighed and helped him up, before walking off, towards the edge of the farm territory. The dogs looked at Jason, as if silently begging, before following Cain and rubbing against his legs. A heavy mist had descended into the farmlands, so it was hard to make out their figures.
