Divide of the West and East

It seems that Chiron and Mr. D have gone off their rockers. They’ve gathered up the cabins of Camp Half-Blood and trooped them off to the forest with only a few rules. Dividing them up into two factions, West and East respectively, the two groups are too be given a small amount of food and scavenge from the forest and the other faction. Fighting and border skirmishes are encouraged, but eventually tempers will rise and there might be one last decisive battle before the summer ends. Of course, which faction wins is completely up to the Gods, since Chiron did his best to make them even.

The Rules

-          There are two factions, and whatever cabin you choose determines the side you are on. If it gets to the point where one side completely outnumbers the other, I will ask you to change the parentage of your character.

-          I don’t mind killing, but let’s keep it at a minimum, and please, ask first before going out on a death rampage.

-          There is only a limited amount of supplies given. The only thing they have plenty of is water from the creek (though one faction may choose to stop the other from having access to it) and wood for fires.

-          Please, I encourage fighting (but between characters only) in this role-play. As long as it’s not gory I don’t care whether we beat each other to a pulp.

-          The Big Three, Zeus, Hades and Poseidon, are allowed only a set amount of children. The numbers beside each god’s name determines this.

-          No godmodding or powerplaying.

-          No Mary Sues or Gary Stus either.

-          If I see any evidence of this you are being kicked out.

-          Literacy is a must. The joining board will be posted below with the same set of details. There you will post your bio and all that stuff.

-          There’s a magical border created by Mr. D that stops any camper from leaving the forest.

[Gwah, I am forgetful. And Athena is a virgin too, so explain Annabeth. O___O Iunno, but it didn't seem fair to shunt her out. And I'll add your charries now, ^o^]

Eudokia stood in the center of the riding ring, legs spread slightly apart and hands relaxed by her sides. Deep cyan eyes blinked lazily as she sized up the bay Pegasus in front of her, a smirk flickering on her lips. “Hush, boy,” she whispered in a gentle voice, tilting her head and staring at the stallion with an appraising gaze. “I’m simply going to try and ride you. No harm in that, right?”

Lifting one hand purposefully she reached out for the muzzle of the Pegasus, intending to pet him. He sniffed her hand delicately before tossing up his head wildly and backing off with a small whinny. Frowning Eudokia advanced again, this time grabbing his mane and vaulting onto his back before he could move a muscle.

Jerking his head up again the stallion whinnied harshly and flapped his wings wildly, dashing forwards. After a few seconds Eudokia felt the rhythm of his movement and he lifted off the ground, leaping for the sky, wings pumping powerfully.

Grinning widely she allowed herself to pat the bay gingerly, feeling his muscles move beneath her pale hand. “This is the life,” she whispered to herself as the wind whipped around her, blowing her raven’s wing black hair backwards.

A sudden ringing noise caught Eudokia’s attention and she leaned over the back of the Pegasus’s head and gazed down at the ground that lay far below. “Back,” she murmured decisively, and touched her heel to the stallion’s flank gently, urging him to land in the gra-ssy field by the main house, where Chiron and Mr. D stood.

“Chiron?” came a gentle voice from the shadows cast by the eaves of the main house, a lilting and soft tone that betrayed its owner’s true personality. “Why did you ring the bell?”

A tall and thin teen stepped out of the shadows, one hand tousling his hair lightly as he gave the centaur a dry grin. “Is there an invasion or attack?” Even as he said this Zekos knew that wasn’t the case. Chiron didn’t seem at all worried, his bow slung casually over one shoulder and his ex
pression calm.

“Not at all, Zekos,” Chiron said in a deep and mellow voice, inclining his head in a gesture of welcome at the son of Hades. “I and Mr. D have simply come up with an activity for the summer I think you all might enjoy.”

Shrugging and shoving his hands into the pockets of his skinny jeans Zekos sighed inwardly and leaned against the wall of the main house, lifting his eyes up to the skies.

The clash of swords echoed across the training clearing beside the arena. A large grunt of pain followed soon after, with one of the fighters dropping to one knee in pain. “Geeze Jordyn, do you have to attack me that harshly?”

The voice came from the person kneeling on the ground, his dark hair flung over one eye haphazardly as he glared at the daughter of Ares, who simply smirked and offered him a hand. “Seth, son of Apollo, why’d you challenge me then?”

“It was a dare,” Seth muttered angrily, ignoring her hand and grunting as he slowly stood, gazing with dismay at the line of red that crossed his chest, dripping slowly.

Karin had approached a rather woeful looking hippocampus. "Hush hush." She crooned, slowly making her way to the shores. The waterhorse gave Karin a disdainful look, snorting. "Ahaha, a feisty one, aren't you?" She grinned, as the hippocampus narrowed its eyes. Karin opened her mouth to say more soothing words, but tripped over a rather small pebble. "Owch!" She squeaked as Karin fell onto the sand. When she looked up, the hippocampus' eyes no longer held disrespect, but a light sparkle of amusement. "Oh sure, make fun of me now." She replied, grinning. Karin apparently had a way with animals, she just supposed it was something Artemis had given her. She jumped up when she heard a bell ring. "What now?" She asked, more curious then annoyed. Karin half-walked, half-skipped to the main cabins, falling down again a few times until she made it to the centaur. "Chiron, what's up?" She asked.

Noah was in the Athena cabin, though grudgingly. Most of Athena's children were girls, and that made him uncomfortable. He had unconsciously brought over a rather hefty textbook, and was skimming through it. "Stupid learning powers." He muttered, semi-amused. Noah looked up when he heard a bell being rung, presumably from the heads of Camp Half-Blood. He slunk out of the Athena cabin, his gait obtaining a slight spring once he was out of the cabin.

Arana was attempting to sun herself by the lake, desperate to get rid of her pale skin which she had obtained from Aphrodite. When a fish swam near her, Arana flipped onto her stomach and lazily trailed her fingers along the water, watching as more curious fish rose to nibble on her fingers. The bell coming from the centaur had scared the fish away in an instant, as Arana heaved herself up, slightly irritated. "I was having a good time." She murmured, pulling on a jacket to hide her swimsuit. [[Psh, yeah. Swimsuit. It was either this, or bikini D:< ]]

Jeraud was inside the Hades cabin, watching as fire shot from his fingers every now and then on his own will. He had already accidentally set fire to a fraction of the cabin, though Jer had covered it up, hoping that the other kids in the cabin wouldn't see it. He stalked out of the cabin when Jeraud heard Chiron ring the bell, glancing back to make sure that the burned wood was completely concealed by a very unfortunately visible blanket.

Annabeth sighed, hearing the bell go off before she got to the Hades' cabin. Ah, good old daddy. He really did give her everything, even though he wasn't supposed to have contact with her. Like Hades would ever listen to Zeus again.

Theo sighed, looking over the large lake behind the cabin his father had built him. It truly was beautiful, along with the scenery. He felt his eyes strain and focus until he could see the fish swim just below the surface. Theo knew that if he tried, he could make that water do as he pleased. It was an awesome feeling.

Chiron rung the bell, snapping Theo out of his thoughts and sending him on the trip to the centaur. 

Taylor pulled back on her bow string and closed her left eye, aiming at the target with her right. She released the tension of the arrow and the bowstring snapped, letting loose the deadly arrow. She slid the black bow through her fingers gently before stretching it across her back. She squinted and held up her eyes and saw that the arrowhead had missed the center of the target by a few inches. She sighed softly and a loud purr grumbled from underneath her. She glanced down and saw Shadowfax rubbing against her leg. She kneeled down and pet him lightly on the head. He meowed softly before flicking his ears toward the right. His maroon eyes were unblinking as the chime of a bell rattled in his ears. Without a backwards glance, he sprinted toward the sound before spreading his wings and taking off in the air. Taylor let loose another sigh at the adventurous creature and set off toward the sound.

Maksis watched Taylor from his perch in the trees. Sunlight dappled his arm as it streamed through the leaves. He fingered a small, white dagger that was the length of half his arm. He felt the edge of the dagger and frowned, realizing the edge was dull. He stuck the weapon into its small sheath on the side of his belt before leaping down from his perch. He heard the bell chime and his white cat, Rune, leaped on his shoulder, digging its claws in painfully. "Go away if you're going to do that." He sighed, but Rune only sniffed his cheek.

Gazing at the gathered campers Chiron did a quick headcount, stomping one forehoof into the ground with displeasure. "Can someone please fetch Jordyn and Seth? I believe they went to train in the stadium," he said in a clear voice, raising his eyebrows and looking around at the campers.

"Hmmm....perhaps you, Arana? You seem quite keen to get away at any rate."

Sighing deeply Eudokia crossed her arms moodily. "If it's nothing important howcome I'm stuck here?" she muttered, though she lowered the amount of scorn in her voice to a minimum. There was no point in insulting one of the heads of the camp.

Lifting one hand and flicking a lock of black hair out of her eyes in her customary move, the morose girl gave a small glare at the rest of the a-ssembled campers. Most of them disliked her, just because of her parentage.
