The brakes squealled, and the car abruptly came to a stop in front of the camp boundary. A boy exited the pink beetle, keys in hand. He grinned as he hit the lock button, and a beep resonated through the air. Dropping the keys in his pocket, Adonis walked nochalantly through the camp boundary and into the camp. Walking further in, he was surprised not to see any campers milling about. The Apollo cabin wasn't out playing basketball, and the Ares cabin didn't appear to be battle training, he found after visiting the arena. His carefree grin melted into a puzzled frown. "Where is everyone?" he wondered, outloud. He hadn't thought he'd come that late. He knew he was late, of course, he had a few stops to make before coming. After lifting the beetle, he went straight into the nearest mall, buying all the appropriate clothes and hair products he'd need at camp. It was just something you couldn't forget, especially if you're the son of Aphrodite. Adon was about to return to the beetle, when he turned the corner. "Well, that's where they are," he thought, slightly surprised. He spotted Chiron in the crowd of people. That's funny, Chiron didn't often call meetings this early into camp. Something must have really gone wrong, he thought, growing worried. Despite his anxiety, Adon's grin appeared as he announced, "It's alright everyone. No need to worry! You're hero has arrived," His green eyes twinkled in amusement, as he took a shallow bow and made gestures with his hands. He always liked having a dramatic entrance.

Snorting with disdain Eudokia sent Adonis a glare. Dramatic upstart, she thought with irritation, her eyes darkening somewhat. "You always need to be in the limelight, don't you," she told him sourly, crossing her arms and narrowing her indigo eyes. [Sorry it's short...science cla-ss. :c]

Adon turned toward Eudokia, feingning hurt feelings. "I'm hurt you'd think such a thing," he replied, his mouth agape. "Even if it's true," he said, his fake surprise fading into a grin. He winked at her, the cocky grin painted almost permanently on his face. He stuck his hands in the pocket of his jeans, then remembered the stolen beetle parked outside the boundaries, as his hands brushed the car keys. "I almost forgot!" he announced, to no one in particular. "I'm going to need somewhere to park my newly acclaimed car," he said, the grin still there.

"Too helpless to do it on your own?" Eudokia taunted with a smirk, her eyes glittering. "Poor little Adon can't park a car. Fail your driving test?" Gently she uncrossed her arms and pinched the bridge of her nose in irritation. Closing her eyes and taking in a deep breath, the ornery girl tried to stifle the outrage she was feeling. What is it about Adonis that makes me so...bitter? she thought with a slightly agonized sigh. ~ Zekos snorted lightly at the loud exchange. “Can’t you two lovebirds take this somewhere else? Chiron has an important announcement to make and you’re holding us up.” He flicked one finger in the centaur’s direction, the small gold band on it glittering faintly in the growing sunlight. “I’m waiting for you two to stop. I’m quite sure you don’t…want to make an enemy of a son of Hades.” ~

Echo let out a soft snicker as she listened. "Maybe they do. I don't know why you would seem like a threat, I mean just because you father is all big and powerful doesn't mean you are." She said not being able to hold herself back this time. Almost as soon as the words came out she wanted to suck them back in. Crap! Why did you have to say that? I thought you wanted to not make people angry at you. She thought scolding herself.

The smirk on Zekos' face faded slowly, his dark mysterious eyes becoming as cold as flint. Latching the fingers of his left hand on his right wrist, as if attempting to restrain himself. "Just because I don't demonstrate my powers openly like fool doesn't mean I'm a weak demigod. Care to try me?" The muscles and tendons in his bare arms rippled as he flexed them, an ex pression of anger flashing across his face, thought it disappeared as swiftly as it came, gone in an intstant like the wildest storm.

Calm thyself down" A girl said whowas sitting down near the hades child. "Listen to Chiron instead of fighting against thyselves." she wasn't faking it, using a medieval accent was just the way she spoke, she always had and always would. Opening her palm, Hecate's daughter, Disa, recited a few words. They were in greek: Sharpness of thy tongue Turn thyself to kindness Bliss fall over thee Calmness fill the air. A rainbow flowed from Disa's hand and flowed over the surrounding people, Echo and Zekos and Adonis. She only knew basic magic, but happiness magic was her specialty...

"Get that stuff away from me," Zekos snarled, waving one hand angrily. The glittering rainbow of light crackled then collapsed into a shifting rain of dust, clouding the air. "Disgusting," he muttered to himself, nudging the faint coating dust covering the gra-ss, coloring it a dark gray.

He thinks he's stronger then you...C'mon, you can beat him! Her her mind nearly screamed to her. "Yes, I would. But unfortunately I don't feel like wasting my time today." Echo said. It came out a lot nicer then she had expected it to, mostly because of the 'happy magic' that swirled around her fighting off her harder tone of voice. She clenched her fists and looked over at Disa with a cold glare. "Stop it!" She hissed as her fists clenched together as she tried to gain control over herself.

"Hey, It got you to be mad at me instead of him, so I'm happy." Disa smiled and got up, walking over to her recently claimed friend, the son of Hephastus, a fire user... ((Fail.....))

Chiron's voice boomed across the clearing. "I would like you all to stop. When you regain full control of your sense I will tell you of this new installment in the camp. Now quiet yourselves. Now." His brown eyes were hard and they swept across the gathered campers accusingly. "I will not tolerate such strife in the camp."

"I see you haven't changed, Eudokia," Adon replied, his tone slightly cooler, but he smirked when Zekos said something about lovebirds. His grin faded as Zekos and Echo began to argue. He didn't want to have to charmspeak them, but he would if the fight got any worse, he decided. He was grateful when Disa broke in with her calming power, instead. Less work for him, he thought to himself, relieved. He looked up as Chiron spoke. "What exactly are we doing here?" Adon asked after he finished, gesturing to the clearing. ((Ahh! Late post! *Edited*))

Echo rolled her eyes and let out a heavy sigh. She grumbled something about being stuck with a bunch of loosers before she finally let it go and went back to stand next to a tree alone. She narrowed her eyes and watched Chiron, waiting for him to continue with what he had been saying before the argument began.

"I'm glad to see you're....somewhat under control." Closing his eyes and sighing deeply Chiron ruffled his dark brown hair. "Alright then. Someone please tell Adonis which team he is on when I'm done debriefing you. The two teams will be split up and taken into the forest with a limited amount of food. The creek and the edges of the forest will be the boundaries." "Killing will not be tolerated, but battles and skirmishes are. The point of this is to survive throughout the summer with a steady or at least non-limited amount of food and some shelter and safety. At the end the winning team will be given a prize to be rewarded the next year. Are you all clear?” ~ Eudokia nodded in a bored way, sending a killing glare towards Adonis. “Crystal,” she murmured silently to herself, a smirk widening on her sallow face. “This is right down my alley.” Blinking she sighed and gently traced the bark of the tree she was leaning against, feeling the carved whorls in it dig into the fleshy skin of her finger, creating a sort of releasing pain that helped the girl to think. Survival…but not necessarily of the fittest. This, I like. ~ Keeping his scowl on his face Zekos rubbed his arm with irritation. “Whatever,” he muttered sullenly, lifting his eyes to the heavens as if in prayer. I wish we didn’t do such…pointless things at Camp Half-Blood. How is this supposed to help us stay alive? Geeze.” ~ Noticing the sour looks of some campers Chiron spoke again. “There’s only one catch. At times I will release various monsters into both parts of the forest. The first, to help you out, shall be a pack of hellhounds. Good luck during the summer and please, stay alive as best you can.”

"Wait, so, we can't kill eachother, but we can get killed by monsters and starvation?" Pheonix noticed a couple of hands go down as she raised this quiestion, they must have had the same question as her. She sighed and waited for an answer, fiddling nervously with her black hair...

"Of course. And besides, if you are near starvation you have two chances in which we will bring you food. As for monsters...there are enough of you. We won't deliberately overwhelm you, Pheonix." Chiron stroked his chin and shook his head. "Any more questions?" ~ Smirking Eudokia padded over to Pheonix and leaned close to her. "Scare?" she whispered in a devilish voice, the noise sounding like the whispering of water over pebbles. The wind on a breezy day rustling the reeds in the pond. A normal yet so...mysterious sound.
