Halien threaded his way around the animals, never stepping on a paw or tail with a kind of feline grace. Approaching Castor, his mouth twitched slightly and asked him, "Black bear?"

Castor pulled out the frozen fish that the camp had bought the other day.
"Black bear?"
He heard the voice come from behind him. He turned to see Halien, he had never talked to kid much but he regonized him. He looked down at Koda who was eyeing the boy. "Yeah. Just somehow he turned out brown." he said smiling slightly. Koda made a snorting sound and nudged him with his paw. Hurry and defrost that. His voice rumbled impatiently.
