Rosey was scared, but excited. She started walking, feeling lonely. She didn't know who her trainer would be.

Spike nodded watching the pup run in circles. "There has got to be an easier way to break that habit of being distracted easily. We just have to find that one thing he is most intersted in. Plus I wonder how good his nose works."

Dwaine quit chasing his tail and layed down out of boredom wondering when they would be learning something new.

Tojo looked thoughtful "You may have a point there, Spike..." He said, continuing to scratch behind his ear "Hey pup!" He called "Get over here, I've got something to teach you..." He grinned slightly 'I remember being put though this test...' He thought, biting an itch on his foreleg...

"You should go meet your colleages," Marsh said hopeful that she might make friends.

"Okay," she said as she walked off after finally relieving herself. She walked into a room and saw a couple of other dogs. She walked up to Tojo and Spike and said, "Hi, my name is Shii."

Spike watched as Dwaine perked up and ran over to them wagging his tail. "Yes?" He asked sitting down then noticing the new dog. "Hi! I'm Dwaine" he said bringing his back leg scratching behind his right ear. "Do you have fleas Tojo? You've been scratching for a while" he said placing his back paw back on the ground as he tilted his head side ways.

Spike held in his laugh at Dwaine's question before looking down at Shii. "Hello. Are you a recruite as well?" He asked curiously having to really focus seeing She was sitting on his bad side. "I'm Spike, one of the trainers."

Dwaine flinched when Tojo yelled at him causing him to back up a few feet before sitting back down again. "I was just asking" he pouted wiggling his nose at the weird feeling of Tojo's paw. He watched as Tojo left and came back in with a scent rag. "What am I going to do with that after I sniff it?" He asked inching forward sniffing the rag. "It smells funny" He complained wrinkling his nose a little bit.

"A lot of things you smell will smell funny, but you have to know what they are" Spike explained watching Dwaine and Tojo. He remebered this test as well. They all had to go through it to test which department to go into, or well that was the case for him.

Shii looked at Spike and noticed his eye. She moved over to his good side and said, "Is that better?" Shii let out one of her killer smiles. "I'm a new recruit. My trainer is Marsh," she said pointing towards the tall belgian malinois in the corner observing the situation.

Shii looked at Rosey and thought, Finally, another girl. Shii smiled at Rosey and said, "Hi, Rosey, I'm Shii." She flicked her head to the side letting her floppy, golden haired ears go sideways.

"Hi Shii."She smiled. She sat down.

Roxy was late to her first training session, not that she really cared. She was pointed in the right  direction by an older dog and she nosed her way in, peering inside. it looked like one of the recruits was already being trained. Before she could get out of the way, a rather large female rotweiler pushed Roxy through into the training room.

They had let Marlene sleep in, even though it was the first day of training the new recruits. She pushed a tardy recruit into the room as she came in, glaring at Tojo. "WHY didn't you wake me?!" She bared her teeth in irritation.

Spike growled at Marlene pulling his ears back. "It is not our job to wake you. By now you should be up and ready for duty at all times" he growled before looking down at Shii. "You didn't have to move. I could see you just fine" he huffed not liking to be thought of as blind or cripled. "All recruites please line up in an orderly fashion and we will get started."

 Dwaine wagged his tail all excited about the new recruites that had come in. He couldn't wait to get started. He jumped to his feet and stood in front of the trainer's wagging his tail watching Spike and Tojo.

Marlene glared venemously at Spike but deflated soon, her professional side taking over. she took her place next to the other trainers as the lead "sniffing" specialist, as they liked to call it. The recruits this time looked bleak, Marlene was doubtful whether many would make it through.

Roxy lifted herself from the floor, looking incredulously at the trainer who had pushed her and didn't even have the courtesy to say sorry. Her ex
pression one of severe annoyance, Roxy sat down next to the other recruits. There was one dalmatian who looked waaaay too happy to be here. Roxy hoped his disease wasn't contagious.

Shii had a look of shock on her face. She was just trying to help. Shii walked to a space in the front of the line and didn't look at the trainers in fear of being chewed out again. Shii's former owner had taken her to dog shows and everything. To her these dogs weren't exactly show dog material.

Marsh walked over to Spike and Tojo. "Was Shii nice," he asked afraid that she was being mean just because she used to be a show dog.
