Roxy saw it all, and heard it all. There had been a hole in the wall where her kennel was placed and she was able to hear the entire conversation between the three mentors. She scoffed at the mention of Shii being a show dog. Then why on earth is she here? This training will kill the girl. Glancing in Myst's direction, Roxy mentally commented, Especially if that one is the one training her. Sighing, Roxu laid her head down on her paws. she would need sleep come the morning, because to all appearances, this training was going to be nothing less than harsh.

Myst shook out her pelt, coming to a halt at her own kennel, and collapsing to the ground in a graceful motion... laying her head over her right paw. Tomorrow would hold the future of all the recruits...seperates the pups from the soldiers. Many of these dogs wont make it. Wont last a day.

Myst was up before the sun that early morning. She crept out of her own kennel and came to a silent halt on the outside earth. The brisk morning air nipped at her pelt as she made her way through the grounds. Rule was asleep silently in his kennel.

Tojo rolled over, his eyes opening slowly, heavy with sleep. He handn't slept well the previous night, plauged by nightmares of his past... He staggered drowsily to his feet, his large head colliding with the kennel roof "Son of a b*!ch!" He yelled, laying down and clutching his throbing head in his paws "Damn, that hurt..." Gradually he got to his feet and padding out of his kennel and towards the training room...

It was only her second day back from her as.signment and already there were new recruits. She remembered when she was a recruit herself...the best in her clas.s. She graduated ahead of her clas.s and became a mentor... the memory was one of her best, but it was framed by so many bone chilling ones, that even she would refuse to speak about. Her dark green eyes scanned the darkened scene, her paws padded on the earthy soil as she came to the training area. Her claws dug into the soil as she quickened her pace. The pace becoming overun by her immence speed as she broke out into a flawless sprint. She seemed to be a blur as she jumped the panels and went through the rings... ((tojo and myst should meet up :3))

Shii woke up to silence and got up. She didn't feel well. She stretched and began to get up, remembering not to shoot up like a rocket unless she wanted to bonk her head again. Shii walked silently out of her cage and went outside.

Rule yawned and sat up, his cage was still locked, signifying he was not allowed to be up and about yet he noticed that Shii had disappeared and he hoped the shadow dog from the night before would not find her... he swallowed and lowered his head in between his paws. Myst shot through the training course with an impossible speed. Her paws beat against the earth as her claws dug into the soil, gripping the ground as she threw herself over the obstacles.

Shii walked towards the training area and gaped at how fast Myst could run. Myst could run almost as fast as she could run. Shii saw Myst's green eyes, the eyes of the shadow last night.

Myst came to an abrupt halt in mid stride, her dangerous glare fixated on the pup who gazed at the training rink. Her claws dug into the earth in agitation but she held the gaze. "Out a little early, pup?" she stated expressionlessly.

"I'm not a pup," Shii stated. She hated being called a pup. She watched Myst and wondered what happened to her to make her so bitter and frightening. Marsh slowly walked out of his kennel. He was still drowsy. He silently walked to Shii's kennel to wake her up. When he got there, he was shocked to see that her kennel was open and empty.

"You are a pup. Until you proove otherwise." she stated in the same expressionless manner. She was appauled at this pup's rudeness...if it was her choice, she would be expelled from the academy. She had not time for ignorant pups such as this. Her eyes still held their menacing glare, "Return to your kennel." she commanded, her muscles stiff but still strong.

This time instead of Shii smarting off to Myst, she started to feel sorry for her. Shii had never learned to control her emotions. She started remembering her life at her owner's house, all her friends, and now she was stuck here. She liked it here, she loved all the dogs here. Shii turned around, walked away and started to cry of sorrow and of confusion.

Myst turned abruptly and returned to her training. Her fury and annoyance made her pace quicken and she bolted once again through the course. She knew the recruits would be awoken soon. And they would meet her again. Hopefully Shii had learned her place, and she hoped the other pups would learn as well. Rule saw Shii coming, seeing the tears dampen her eyes, "what happened?" he called, standing up quickly.

Shii ran to her kennel ignoring Rule and stayed in there. She felt horrible. She wished she had someone to like her that was her age. She just wanted to be loved by someone.
