Jake looked at Alex with slight suprise. "So your a demon as well? well then, that makes us two of a kind." Jake smiled and brought his tail back. "What are you doing in a city like this?" He ordered a double vanilla scoop and returned his attention to Alex. "wouldnt you rather be in a different place?"

Alex smiled a little. "I'm looking for someone." He responded, "but if I don't find him here then I'm definitely getting out of here." He shifted slightly in his seat, wondering if he should leave now and continue his search and leave this demon alone. "Well..." He said, after Jake had ordered his ice cream. "It was nice meeting you I suppose. Sorry for mistaking you as an angel.."

Jake looked at the demon. "wait, your looking for someone? My my, we seem to be in the same boat once again." He smiled and took the ice crea' from the waitress. He bit into it before gently licking the frozen treat. "Who are you looking for and is there any way I may help?"

Alex tilted his head a little, it seemed like they did have a lot in common. "His name is Malice." Alex replied, "I've been looking for him for centures actually." He added, thinking aout the demon that he'd been looking for forever it seemed. "I've finally tracked him down to in or around this city which is why I'm here."

Alex cleared his throat, that was a touchy subject. "No, he's not." He responded, he'd heard about Malice taking a mate but he was hoping that it was just a rumor. Malice was very well known in the denom world, thankfully, that was the only reason he was able to get this far. He was surprised to hear that this other male wanted him to search ever though he thought that he was his lover. He chuckled slightly, "I don't even know your name~" He purred a catlike purr.

Jake smiled and looked at the other demon. He licked his lips and then looked back at Alex. "Jake.. Just Jake.. Don't mind my last naeme because I never bothered to remember it myself." He held his hand out for Alex. "Midn we go somewhere more private so that we can talk more.. And my human self is getting weary.. I need to let my other form out before I run out of energy completely.." His tail began to show and he forced it back in.

Alex took Jake's hand immediately, looking at it only afterward. Maybe he didn't want to help him look and he just wanted sex? This was certainly possible and it ouldn't be the only time that it haad happened since Alex started looking for Malice in the first place. "Sure." He responeded, "I'm Alex." He stated, not bothering to give a last name since Jake hadn't. It seemed that Jake wasn't able to hide his demon form very well, Alex seemed to be fine at hidingt his though he only hand markings that could easily be taken as tattoos.

Jake smiled and took the demon's hand. "Let's head over to the lake so we can talk and I can be relaxed. Plus, we can discuss where this 'malice' character is right now." He smiled and walked out of the building. He walked down the street and turned quickly down the street and toward the lake. His wings already began to show underneath his shirt. He quickly grabbed Alex by the wasit and carried him. He ran to the nearest wooded area and let his wings come out. He flew up and toward the lake. "I'm so sorry, but i can't stay in my human form for a very long time."

"Ok." Alex responded and got up and followed Jake out of the ice cream parlor and down the street. He didn't know that there was even a lake around here. This city didn't look like it would have a lake hidden in it. He was a second too slow to react when Jake grabbed him by the waist and started to run with his in his arms. He automatically gripped Jake's arms around his waist. And then they weren't on the ground anymore. "OH shi-!!" He closed his eyes. He hadn't been flaying in forever, he could remember the last time that he flew but his black feathery wings slipped out of hiding all on their own. "Jake!!" He whined, "It's fine, it's fine, just don't drop me.. "

"Whoa! Your wings.. Your a fallen angel??" He flew over the trees and then toward the outskirts of the city. He fell toward the ground and then flapped his wings again. He landed softly this time and looked at Alex. He ran his fingers along teh wings. "Angel... Dark... But.. WHy do you smell so much like a demon?" His wings folded back and disappeared.

Alex would have laughed if he hadn't been scared out of his mind. He might not have been scared out of his mind if he had been prepared to leave the ground either, instead of being suddenly whisked away on a whim. Once the were on the ground, Alex was still off of the groud, Jake holding him and playing wit his wings. "Because I am a demon.. Please, put me down." He said, his hands still on Jake's arms.
