Snakekit leaped otu of his nest, heart pounding and breathing harsh and laboured. He looked around him wildly, expecting to see Tigerstar lunging at him, or the Doomsong she-cat hissing at him. Eventually he calmed himself down, and padded out of the nursery.

He stumbled where he was usually graceful, as a result of sleep deprivation. He shrugged it off, got back on his feet, and started towards the fresh-kill pile. His stomach growled loudly, and he flushed hotly under his fur before he grabbed a small mouse for himself.

(( Hay; Just for the record, Brambleclaw did NOT end up like Tigerstar or Hawkfrost, as far as I've read in the books. xD ))

Snakekit sat in the cool shade, and started to gnaw gently on the mouse, deep in his own little world of thoughts. I wonder why she said I'm going to the dark side. All I'm doing is training with Tigerstar. I don't want to be Clan leader or whatever. I want to be a warrior. A noble, loyal warrior that every kit will look up to and admire. He added quietly, Like Oakfeather. 

His eyes wandered to Silverkit for a moment. I wonder if she's ignoring me.

Silverkit flinched when she felt Snakekit's eyes on her, scorching the ground slightly. A hot flush spread through her body, "Stop watching me," she muttered as she stalked past him. 

Silverkit looked over her shoulder, "You know why," she hissed, turning backarounf and padding into the nursery. "Pretentious stalker," she muttered, ripping into the blackbird.

Snakekit, unfazed, followed her in. "Look," he said. "If this is about that whole prophecy thing..." He blinked, green eyes clear and honest. He still had no clue that Silverkit knew about him meeting up with Tigerstar; he was that oblivious.

Silverkit gave a sigh of disappointment when the blackbird was gone. With leaf-bare coming, the freshkill-pile is getting smaller. I dare not take any more, she thought, irritated.

{Now he;s stubborn? xD}

Silverkit raised her head, "You want to know? Fine, I think you're a mousebrain for trusting Tigerstar. If you join him, you'll end up like hawkfrost. I'm sure you know what happened. Maybe I'm concerned for your safety, maybe I actaully care for our clan. But I refuse to let you do this, we don't need more corrupted cats in our clan." she hissed.

Snakekit paused, caught off guard for a moment. "I'm not corrupted!" he said. "All I want is to be a good, strong warrior. I don't want to be leader, I don't want to take over all the clans and blah blah blah." He slammed his tail against the ground with a thump. "And it's not like I can just turn this off when I want!" He added in a low voice, "He'll find me."
