Erebus took a look at the kid and his eyes softened. "The Dark One. No One knows his true identity. Only the fact that he has power over the element of Darkness. The only problem is, no one knows what his other half is. His Dark Magyk has already tainted the Magyk Realm. When you arrived here, could you not see the wary stares of the inhabitants?" He asked. Taylor recalled the trolls she had seen when she traveled here before. They had watched her as she went along. "When do we start?" Taylor asked and Erebus looked at her. "So you wish to help?" He asked and Taylor shrugged. "I bet if this Dark One came into possession of the Medallions, it would affect us also." Erebus smiled. "Then you may begin when you are ready," He said and swept around, causing his dark cape to fly out behind him. "Look to your elements to find the source of their power." He said and the doors to the Library flung open as he walked out. He hesitated at the door. "Good luck. The Magyk Realm and maybe the world's fate rests in your hands." He said before the doors shut him out. [[I added more to the plot cause it was missing something...any idea who the dark one is and who wants to be him? XD]]

Kye looked at his hands as the doors shut. "I dont think mine are big enough to hold the worlds fate," He mumbled, looking around. "Anyone have huge hands? Maybe if we combine them...what did her meant by 'look to your elements to find the source of their power?" He mimicked Erebus' voice almost perfectly. ((Another phail post brought to you by Tode. Im brain dead. The Dark One is a lady dressed in white that pretends to be your friend but isnt.....?))

Taylor drew back her hood, exposing her face once more. She did not feel exactly comfortable around a bunch of people she did not know, but shrugged it off. "Well, we're supposed to be looking for Medallions that supposedly give us our power. Maybe we should use our elements to find them." She said and shrugged, leaning forward in her chair. "I think we should find the elements in order. Air is called to the pentagram first." She said and looked at Kye.

"Air is first?" Kye asked, wide-eyed. "I thought Fire was," His head whipped to the striped-hair boy. He raised his eyebrows before looking back at Taylor, making a slight face. "How do we do that, anyways?" It took him a while to notice she had removed her hood and her suddenly grinned. "Thats a nice look. We c'n see more of your face."

Taylor shook her head. "Nope. It goes like this: Air, Earth, Fire, Water, and Spirit." She said to him and moved uncomfortably in her seat when he mentioned the fact that she put her hood down. Her ear tips grew red, but her face remained impa.ssive. "Thanks, but I prefer my face to be hidden. I just find it rude keeping my hood up when I need to speak to other people," She said to him and continued. "You should know how to manifest your element. I was just doing it a moment ago." She said, raising her brows.

"Manifest my...oh!" Kye blinked and frowned, furrowing his brow. An unseen breeze seemed to ripple his hair and his brown eyes turned a stormy gray, which seemed to whirl with other colors as well. Dark gray flowed over light gray and white. Throw in a little blue...He blinked again and grinned as his eyes returned to normal and settled. "Like that?"

Taylor rolled her eyes. "Yes, like that. Do it again, but this time focus on where your power rests. Where you draw your energy from." She said and not wanting to sound like a total nut-case. "I'm just saying that because Erebus hinted it." She did smile though when the breeze swirled around Kye. She had noticed that his eye color changed when he summoned his element. She wondered if that happened to everyone here. Her eyes were violet in her dragon form so she would know soon enough.

"What...do you mean by that?" Kye rolled his head around. "Where I draw it from. The wind? The air 'round?" He pressed his hands together as he resumed his element form and brushed them together, as if he was spinning a top. A small whirlwind played between his fingers and onto the table. "Sorry, but I really have no idea what'cha mean." He seemed to be transfixed by the play of his element.

Taylor sighed, frustrated. Apparently, this kid was not grasping the situation. She looked at the whirlwind which he was seemingly fixated with. She pushed her palm out and a purple and white light cut through the whirlwind, scattering the wind. "Now." She said. "I think this situation is a little important so I think you need to focus. The air and the wind are only the tools that come with your element. You must have a source of power for which you can control the air to do your bidding." She explained. "You must be able to find the source of that power."

Kye lowered his head into his hands. "I still dont know what'cha mean. Find the power of what? How?" He really didnt know what they were asking. No one had ever told him there was a certain way he had to do the stuff he did.

Taylor bit her cheek from trying to restrain herself. Right now, she wanted to bite the kids head off because he wouldn't try. She closed her eyes and drew her hood back over her face, allowing her eyes to blaze in the shadows where no one could glimpse her face. Once she got over her irritation, she closed her eyes again. She looked deep in her soul and felt the Spirit that was nestled there. She grasped at it and tried to find the threads of where it existed. She opened her eyes and they were a glowing violet. She did not see the Library or the four other kids in front of her. She saw a large building of the deepest purple and brightest white. It seemed secluded and it felt like she was only one of few to glimpse the landscape's beauty. It seemed surrounded by a dessert with blistering winds. They would be impa.ssible as of now. Deep down, she knew that they could not fly there or even walk with all their strength. She knew the other Medallions had to be collected first. She shivered and blinked. The room came back into focus and she drew her hood back. "I found where my medallion is," She said to him.

"Well, if you'd just done that a'fore..." Kye smirked. "I learn visually. Sorry." He did the same, grasping at the tendrils and following them. His building was a small cabin on a mountain, surrounded by clouds. He shivered needlessly, expecting cold that wasnt there before taking a breath and walking towards the gray and shifting form. Like the wind, he thought as he reached for the door. He pushed and it opened without so much as a groan, though, by the looks, the element building-or the building it was based off-hadnt been used in years, maybe decades. Well. That wasnt expected. He walked towards the beam of light, wondering where it even came from and reached for the ob
ject on the ground...more out of curiosity than the tug he felt towards it. As soon as his fingers touched it, it was as if a chord had snapped. He gasped and opened his eyes shaking. He wiped sweat away with a clenched hand and laughed weakly. "That was...really weird." ((Sorry if thats wrong. Goin on what your post was sortta. XD))

Taylor looked at him expectantly. "So you know where it is?" She asked him. Her eyes had faded to their normal gray, but instead of the silver flecks, there was purple. This happened when she was using her element too much or for a long period of time. It was a major drawback if she tried to fit in the Human World; hence why she liked to wear her hood up. [[yeah, it's good 8D]]

Blinking, Kye nodded. "Yeah, I know where it is." He grinned and turned his head looking at Taylor out of the corner of his eyes. "Do I tell you where it is?" he asked jokingly, looking back at her. His eyes danced with humor, while hers changed their color and he nodded at a thought in his head.

Taylor glanced at the boy again. "I think it would be wise if you told us where it was," She said, emphasizing the us. She stood up and resisted the urge to pull her hood up again. "Alright. We know where the first medallion is. We just need to follow Kye and defeat the guardian. Then we can go to the next temple," She said. "Questions?" She asked and then felt stupid for saying that. [[we need to wait for the others to reply :P]]

Zakeru watched Kye and Taylor talk about finding their temple with the least bit of interest. He leaned the chair back so it balance on two legs and clasped his hands over his stomach. As the two continued to talk, he closed his eyes and let his mind wander. His element quickly came to his mind's eye and it danced in fornt of him. Writhing in joy and happiness. Reaching towards it with a mental hand, he found himself suddenly back in the library with his eyes snapping open. His wandering mind brought back to reality by Taylor's voice as she addressed all of them. Rubbing one eye with the heel of his hand, he shook his head before running the same hand through his stripey hair.
Nothing can stop the US Air Force except lightning within five nautical miles.

Keb stared blankly at the two having their conversation, not listening all that much since much of it was the boy misunderstanding and the girl trying to tell him what to do. He quietly cracked his knuckles a few times, then his neck, not knowing what else to do and tensing the muscles in his arm. The girl quickly adressed them all, telling them that they would go to the place of the medallion and defeat the guardian. Something within his eyes glimmered, a fondness, as the muscular, quiet boy quite enjoyed defending others, and he would have fun destroying the monster. He was a very muscular boy, Keb, the steryotyped "strong and silent". Though he hated to think about it, that grouping pinned Keb to a tee, a tall boy that's very muscular and handsome, not talking much, but with some consideration when they do. Keb stood up abruptly, his chair skidding behind him as he got up, the boy catching it before it tipped over. He gave the girl a curt shake of his head to her asking if they had questions, obviously eager to get the "mission" done to protect the Magyk Realm.

Kye shrugged and told her where is medallion was. "In an old rickety cabin up high on a mountain, shrouded by clouds. I went through the door and found it on the floor in a beam of sun that came from nowhere." He sighed and looked around the table, shuffling his feet restlessly..

Taylor nodded at the small group. She had thought out a plan as Erebus explained. It was not complete, but it allow them to drive straight into their mission. She wondered why the kids were accepting her so easily. Why they did not care if she led them. She shook that thought away quickly. "We know the Air Medallion is somewhere in really high mountains. I suggest we go into town and find out more about this place. Someone may leak some information about the Guardian or whatever." She said, though she doubted it. She pulled her hair out from under her sweatshirt and it fell along her shoulders. She then pushed her chair back from the table and stood up.
