Sara sat quietly in an alley and pulled out a gl*censored* of water. "Here we go," she said. Her hands began to move in smooth, upward motions. Soon, the water was floating in the air. The water crashed to the ground as she heard a strange noise behind her. She turned around and found something sitting there, a dog with a piece of paper attached to his neck.

The paper said:

Take care of him...

Sara thought nothing of the letter. Just another strange occurance in her life. She looked at the dog and thought a while. "Shinook," she said randomly, "that's what I'll call you." She rubbed the dog's head and smiled.

Click, click, click. Shetwoni's heels smacked against the sidewalk as she hurried to the meeting, where Horatio was waiting. She had recieved a text from her friend, telling her she couldn't make it. She yanked open the door to the building, and went inside. It was dim and cold. She shivered and made her way to a room lined with books, filled with people.

She sat down beside Horatio. "Hey." Like Horatio, she was a total brainiac and was social, but unlike him, she had an amazing temper, and she could not begin to tell you the number of times she had gotten in trouble for blasting peopel with fireballs when she got mad. Also unlike him, she was a total-technology nerd, she got do anything with a computer, and had the most complicated phone imaginable.

The meeting began with Horatio beginning it, talking about what they were addressing. She sat up straight in her seat, alert and paying attention. She acted as a scribe for them, and was furiously writing down what he was saying.

Horatio saw Shetwoni come in and sit, and he smiled at her. Then he started the meeting, talkign about how they needed to convince people to pick up their trash and recycle it. After a two-hour brainstorming session, he ended the meeting and walked outside with Shetwoni, enoying the sun, but it was now setting, and a party he had been invited to was starting at 8:00. He had two hours to get ready. He sighed, then remembered he was supposed to pick up an order at the candy/sweet shop. ((Hurr-gurr, they only sometimes have that order-thingy, so that's what I'm doing here. xD)) after picking up the order, he walked home, whistling.

Horatio looked at her, saw she was crying. "What? Why?" Though he figured she most likely wouldn't tell him, considering he was a complete stranger. "But don't cry, I won't tell." He hated to see people cry, it made him depressed. So in his attempt to make her feel better, he generated an airball which collected her fallen tears and made them dance inside it.

Once she got home, she decided on an outfit for the part tonight, a simple black-mini and white tank-top. She slipped on her yellow wedges and yellow-crystal earrings, then headed back out. She was to help out setting up the pary, since it was one of her friends. She arrived at a huge house, where balloons were strung up, a banner saying "Happy Sevententh Birthday!"

"Yes. You'd be surprised how many people have such powers." He watched the tears crash together, making a splashing noise. "Why are they after you? Whoever they are?" He was curious, he couldn't help it. That was part of his personality, he would say curious, others might say nosey. He made two more airballs and made them into patterns. They then turned into small figures, who waltzed around, hand and hand. Then they exploded, sending a rocket of fresh, cool air into both of their faces.

Shetwoni grinned when she wen inside. Jazabeth hugged her and squealed, then gave her orders. She followed them, and but 7pm, everything was ready. She looked around at her work. Refreshments on the table, decorations, hard-rock and pop playing, mixed with current hits and hip-hop/rap. Around 7:30, guests started to arrive.

Continuing to lick the lollipop Jason sat down by his fire place. Being bored and not having anything to do he lit the fireplace up. 'Much better' he thought. After watching the flames for a while he began to manipulate them. Making them dance and twirl. He loved being able to work with fire. He had no idea how he could do it, but he could.

He figured this out when he was at his friends birthday party. It was time to sing happy birthday and the candles were lit. While everyone sang happily Jason noticed that his friends parents had given him a giant slinky. It was the exact one that he saw at the toy store. It was red and had a polka dotted pattern. He was so enraged in his jealousy that he imagined the candles exploding. Soon after the thought the small flames on the candles were now on the cake. Little children screamed and ran out of the house. Jason just stood and stared. 

Little Jason believed it was only a coincidence, thats when he got a box of matches and experimented. Soon he found out that he had the ability to manipulate fire. 

After twenty minutes of dancing with the flames he was reminded of a party. He didn't know who it was for and why it was happening. All he was told was the location. Looking down to observe his clothes he gave a nod of approval and began to head to the location, still with the semi giant lollipop in hand.

Sara stared in confusion at what he mentioned about the Ilakan. She had seen that word on her cell door when she was there.

She then heard him mention a party. After thinking for a couple seconds, she nodded, "I'll come." She hadn't been to a party in ages. The last one she attended was her 13th birthday party. She called Shinook and said, "I gotta get him to my place first," and pointed at a small apartment across the street.

Shetwoni greeted the guests at the door, smiling to each one and collecting the gifts. Each time she got a load of gifts, she deposit them on a table and then headed back to the door. she wondered when Horatio would show up, he was usually early to these type of things. Probably changing his clothes or making new friends or something so Horatio-like.  Just then, she spotted a guy walking towards the open door, a semi-eaten lolli-pop in his hand. How odd, she thought, chuckling slightly. She called out to him, "Welcome to the party! Jazabeth shall be your host!"

Horatio nodded and smiled. "Well come on then, otherwise we will be late." He began walking out the alley, looking back to see if she was coming. Well, now I have a new friend, maybe.  He looked down at his clothes, sighing. There would be no time to change, so he would just go looking the way he was.
