"Do you have any pes?" He asked, p*censored*ing Grace a wet mop. "I do. I hvave a russian Dwarf hamster. Her name is Lna, but I mostly call her Hammie."Sam leaned back.
"I like animals, I guess abecause I'm an earth type, and they help me loosen up when I'm annoyed." Noting the absence of another mop, Sam grabbed a sponge and started using that.

"I have a few pets," Grace said, going through the mental list of animals that she took care of. All of her pets were wild animals and they lived in the forest next to her cabin. When she called them, they would come to her. "I have a great horned owl, a black wolf, a grey fox..." she kept going on.

Sam went up to the front of the room and admired their handiwork.

"Light," Grace said, making a small veil of light around herself. She looked at their handiwork also and smiled. "You've seen me use my element a couple times, but I never really told you," she said, looking down as the veil of light dissipated.

"Why is it that people always think light elementals are in conflict with the dark elementals?" When Sam was a child, the lights and darks had made a bond, and they hadn't fought since.

"I don't know. We usually don't get along, but that doesn't cause conflicts." She jumped down from the counter and walked closer to Sam. She felt like she was yelling because she was too far away from him. "Most people also a.ssume that light elementals have light hair and light eyes. Me, I have neither. At first glance, people would either think I am a shadow elemental or an earth elemental," she said. "People also a.ssume that light elementals are air-headed and ditzy. I am definately not ditzy," she said, sticking her finger out at Sam for extra effect.

"You're not ditzy at all," Sam said. "and I have light hair and dark eyes, so appearance usually has nothing to do with what element they are."
Sam looked at his watch. "What's your first cl@ss?" He asked, leaning on the doorframe.

"History. As usual. My schedule is the same every day. Except on wednesdays. On wednesdays, I have elemental training all day long." Grace looked at Sam and smiled. "What's your first cla.ss?" She looked at him, raising an eyebrow.

Sam began heading out the door backwards, seeing if Grace would come with him.
((Just watched Prince of Persia, Sand of Time. Totally great movie. ))

"Sure. Why not?" Grace walked with him, making their way to the history cla.ssroom. Lots of people stared. Grace hardly ever wore dresses, so they were a bit surprised. ((That is a great movie. I've watched it like a bazillion times.))

"I hardly ever wear dresses," she said, taking a window seat in the back. "They're surprised to see me in a dress," Grace said, looking back at Sam.

"Oh, why don't you? You look quite nice," Sam said, as he slipped into his chair and the teahcer started talking......
Sam, not paying attention to Miss Q., studied Grace's face. Her eyes were wide, innocent-like, but her chin jutted out in a way that made her look prideful, and stubborn.
Miss Q. glared at sam so fiercly, that Sam looked up at her and listened to her talk.
"As I was saying, every few generations, there is a child wit the extraordinary power of controlling all regular elements. Earth, fire, water, ice, light, dark, and electricity. It seems, in this genereation, no one has been found with all powers.
"What are you all doing?? Write this down!" Miss Q. snapped, and Sam grabbed some lined paper out of his notebook and began writing what she'd said down.
"The power over all elements is random, although people that are linked in any way to an all-powered person has a higher chance of being one," she continued, her eyes looking into each student's face. "They show no signs of controlling all the elements, and seem to have only one element, like every other regular elemental, but as they get older, they will show signs of other element powers. If nobody has noticed yet, Professor Halting is in fact, all the elements." all of a sudden, Miss Q. slapped her pointer on the desk, making Sam and several other students jump.
"Homework," she said, and Sam groaned. "At least three page long summary about all-elementals. Write that down."

Grace groaned. Dam! Three pages long? She wrote it down in her planner. Her cheeks were still red from what Sam said about her looking nice in the dress. She looked at the clock and watched the bell ring. "Yes. Bye." She ran out of the cla.ssroom and stopped. She was waiting for Sam. She seemed to have taken a liking to him. She pictured him as a good of a friend as Mlle was.

"Well, right now's my free period," he said as he walked up to Grace. "what've you got?" Sam planned to idle by whatever cl@ssroom Grace was going to, and wait for her to come out.

Thomas looked around and quickly spotted Grace. He slowed down and was soon walking in pace with her.
"Hey. what's your name?" he asked, smiling at Grace in a friendly way.

"Oh. I forgot to mention that yesterday, didn't I? My name's Grace," Grace said nicely. She took a seat in the cla.ssroom and looked forward, waiting for instructions.
