"I'm glad I don't need to heave those things around," Akatsuki giggled. She sat down on the couch and crossed her legs confortably. "What's all that stuff for, anyway?" She asked. Monk set his things down and shrugged. "Its all naru's stuff," He said, sitting dpwn beside Monk. "Where is Naru now anyway?" Monk asked. "Who said you could rest? We have to get the rest of the equpment into our room," Naru snapped.

"Oh be quiet Naru. Let her rest if she wants to, you can tell that she isnt one to do the lifting unless you want stuff replaced. Are you really that heartless that you would make her do that?" Mai snapped stalking out of the room to retrieve the rest of the stuff. John stood there, unsure of how to act, so instead he turned and left the room to get more things. Lin sighed(XP)

Naru sighed. "I was talking to Monk, mabye you should stay out of other people's buisness, so you don't embaras.s yourself anymore," Snapped Naru, shooting her an irritated glare. "As for Akatsuki, do you sense any evil spirits around?" Akatsuki nodded. "How many?" Naru asked. "I can't tell," Naru nodded a thanks and walked around the house. Monk sighed and stood up. "Hey, Mai, need some help setting up the cameras?" he asked.

((lol i missed the monk sitting down part! LOL)) "NO, I can get it my self." Mai growled glaring behind her with blazing eyes. Where does that jerk get off treating me like that. "I'll kill him." Mai stumbled, landing on her back, the air rushing out of her lungs. "Ow." She complained quietly getting to her feet.

Monk backed off. "Sheesh," He grinned. Akatsuki smiled. I wonder if this is what it feels like being in a family, she thought. Her smile faded when she heard the rattling. "Can you hear that?" She asked. The rattling continued. She heard something slithering on the floor. She let out a gasp and quickly pulling he rlegs up, right before the rattle-snake lunged to bite her. Akatsuki let out a scream and jumped ontop of Monk. "Settle down!" Monk soothed her. "Whats the matter?" akatsuki pointed to the snake right as it rounded the corner to where Naru was.....

Lin spotted the snake almost immediately as it snuck its way into the room with him and Naru. "Dont move." He stated, taking a step around Naru, looking more like a body gaurd than an as.sistant. He glared at the snake, trying to interpret its motives. John walked and and saw the snake, bending down low. "Come here little fellow." He said picking it up gently. ((Im off to dance.. ill post later.))

(( kk )) The snake hissed and lunged at John, barely missing him. Poisonous venom dripped from its unusually long fangs. "Get it away from me!" Wailed Akatsuki. "Calm down, Akatsuki." Monk said gently. "Its just a snake." He reas.sured her. "A poisonous one!" Snapped Akatsuki. "And there's something wrong with it!" She stared closely at it, yes, there was definatly something wrong with it. "Its not normal!"

"Monk, she's right. Rattle snakes are more territorial than agressive. It's not behaving normally, look closely at its eyes. Dont worry I have a hold of it so it wont bite you." John noted, placing his thumb on the snakes small head. Mai began setting up the cameras, not taking notice of a huge black dog behind her until it growled. She whipped around, screaming at the sight of the red eyes. The beast growled again and pounced, knocking Mai to the ground. Lin looked up from the snake as a scream sounded through the halls. "Mai!" He said remembering that Mai was out by herself setting up cameras.

Akatsuki slunk away from the snake. She heard Mai's scream also, and bolted from her spot. In a matter of seconds, she was standing infront of the two. She put on more kind of glove, and grabbed the dog by its neck. She threw it across the room, breaking through the wall into the other room where the others were. "Kill it!" She commanded. She turned around and pulled Mai up. "Are you okay?" She asked, her body shaking all over. "Did it bite you?"

Mai trembled looking at the strange dog, but then she looked at her arm. "Uh ya, it bit my arm, but I think I will be ok." She stammered looking at Akatsuki. "H-how did you do that?" Mai said with a yawn, she hadnt realized how tired she was. "Never mind, I should probably get some rest, I might even dream about what's going on here." She mumbled, steadying herself on her feet. ((Omg ok, so i was in the car on the way home from dance and i got this idea for a different case... there could be like this person controlling the ghosts and spirits, who can also do magic! Lol i am an epic failure.))

Akatsuki placed a shaking hand on Mai's shoulder. "No, Mai. We need to check out that bite, that thing could of had a desease, or something," She walked Mai to the couch and examine dher arm when they were settled. "Its a nasty bite, we should probrably put something on it to stop an infection," She said. "and if your still wondering how I did that, I'll tell you, if you tell me what you meant when you said 'dream about what's going on here'." Akatsuki smiled.

"Oh ya thats right, you dont know. When I fall asleep, I learn things. Get a better view of the case. I can see where fox fires are too, and one time, I even dremt that I was being murdered, but that helped us save someone because I knew how to get there from my dream. Its really neat sometimes." Mai smiled, looking down at the blood oozing from the wound. "Thats nasty." She yawned again, making her way to the couch. "Now its your turn."

Akatsuki smiled. "You know when its hard to fight a spirit, or a ghost when your hand just goes through? Well, this--" She took of her glove-thingie. "-- Sllows me to channel my 'powers' and focuse them into it, and eventually able me to land a punch on the ghost or spirit, it can also allow me to punch out an evil spirit that's possesing someone." She smiled. "Say that dog, it was abviously being possessed. I just 'knocked some sense' into him," She giggled, smearing some medicine onto Mai's wound. "I also have an Amulet, that wards off evil spirits." She smiled. She stared down at the glove, it was midnight blue and studded with red jewels, and had a hige yellow jewel in the middle. "Isn't it pretty?" She giggled.

"Ya, gorgeous... Ow that stings." Mai complained turning to Naru. "I'm going to take a nap, see if I can find out anything." She layed down her head hitting the cushion. "This is niiiiice." She trailed off, falling asleep. John laughed seeing Mai fall asleep. "Sorry little guy." He said snapping the head of the snake and looking at the once possesed, now dead, dog.

Akatsuki, still shaking, walked outside. The backyard was beautiful. Exotic Flowers littered the ground and there was a huge, but beautiful clear lake. Colorful fish swirled around. Before she could ob
ject, she was walking toward the lake. she sat down, letting her feet dangle into the icy-warm water. "Ahhh..." Akatsuki smiled. (( I'm gonna make something grab her and try to drown her. >:P ))

Lin watched as Akatsuki dissapeared under the water. "Akatsuki!" He dived in with a splash, his eyes searching the murky water. He spotted her sinking, fighting agaisnt whatever was pulling her down. He kicked hard sliding his arms around you, pulling against her captor. He managed to pull her head above the water so she wouldnt drown. He felt a hand wrap around his ankle. He shoved her to shore, climbing up with her and rushing her away from the waters edge. ((GTG be back soon))
