Lin didnt answer, still feeling fingers wrapped around his ankle. He wasnt one the had warding magic, how could he handle this. "Hey, hey! I need you to go back and get help. Grab Monk, ok?" He said, pushing Akastuki forward. He foot was slid back but he held fast, swaying a little bit. "GO!"

John walked by a window and saw Lin shove Akatsuki forward, shouting something. "Hey Monk? You better look at this, Lin might be in trouble!" Alarm filled his voice, as he rushed to Monk's side.

"What the?!" Monk exclaimed, staring out the window. "Come on!" They both darted outside. He tried to ward off the spirit that was holding him, but it only got worse. Akatsuki hissed, pulled on her glove and grabbed what ever was holding Lin. She pulled up a hand. No arm, no body. She let out a screech and flung it back into the water.

Monk helped Lin up. "What happened?" He asked. He turned to Atatsuki. "Hey, what was it that you just did--" Akatsuki was laying face down, barely breathing. "We need to call an ambulance!" He cried.

Lin winced as the hand tightened around his ankle but was soon released by Akatsuki. He dialed 911, explaining their current crisis, then hung up. He immediately went over checking her pulse. "She will make it until the ambulence gets here." He said, cradling her in his arms as he made his way back to the building. "We were talking, all of a sudden she was pulled under the water so I dived in after her. What ever it was changed targets and hung onto me instead." He growled, not glancing back. John gasped in horror. "What do you think it was? OOnly a hand? No body?" He thought about it but came up with nothing. Lin walked by Mai, who was still asleep. Neither one of them noticed a faint glow under the bandages that was seeping through the wound on her arm.

Monk stared in horror at Akatsuki's motionless body. Is she still breathing? He looked closer, he could see the faint rise of her chest. Yeah, she's breathing. He let out a sigh of relief. Akatsuki opened her eyes for a split second, but it was too hard so she closed them.

-FAIL-

John called over to Lin that the ambulence had arrived and he nodded, carrying Akatsuki to the worried paramedics. Worry clouded his features for once, as the paramedic removed Akatsuki from Lin's arms.

Akatsuki tried once more to open her eyes. It took a few seconds for everything to focus, but when they did, Lin's face came to view. What happened? Where am I going? Akatsuki asked herself. She stared at Lin for a few long seconds, scared.

Lin sighed and turned to Monk. "Tell Naru that I will be back later." He said climbing into the ambulence quickly, looking back with an apologetic look. He ignored the paramedic who was going on about how everything was going to be ok, sometimes he wondered if that statement was mandatory to say.

Did something happen? Why is it hard to breath? Am I dreaming? No, its too real. Who are these strange people? Questions swarmed through her head. Before she could ask Lin when happened, everything started to go dizzy, until everything was black.

John sighed watching the ambulence pull away. "Lets go tell Naru." He said walking into the building. He ran up the stairs and into the room, knocking on the door frame. "Um, Naru? We have a problem. Akatsuki was just taken away in an ambulece and Lin is with it." He looked over his shoulder at Mai sighing again. "And Mai still hasnt woken up"
