"Either that or you are just weak." Lin grunted with a small chuckle. He looked down at his arm where the snake had wound its way around. "What's this?" He asked glaring at the smokey black image. "That's your new best friend.  Akatsuki managed to hit a soft spot in the snake. So it apologized and promised to protect you and Mai, look she has one too." John explained pointing to Mai. Lin looked and realized that she really did have the same mark. "Great."

Mai's eyes fluttered open as she sat up and stretched. "That was a pretty good nap. I'm surprised you let me sleep that long." She looked up questioningly at Naru, obviosly not having any clue of what had happened since she had been reunited with her body. It was if she hadnt even woken up in the first place.

Naru couldn't help but grin. "You have no idea," He sighed. Monk roleld his eyes. "What ever," He huffed. "I should of left you in there," Monk stalked away to check on Akatsuki. "Is she okay?" He asked nervously.
