Mr. Youji nodded,"While you are eating, I would like to explain our little situation. It seems you have no place to go, so you may stay here as long as you wish. My brother runs a nice little academy that I have enrolled you all in, I do ask that you attend while you stay under my roof. My servants shall tend to you, and don't hesitate to ask if you need anything.
I wish I could stay and chat a while longer and get to know each of you, however I have business I must tend to."
He gave them a smile,"Well I am off, come now Max."
The butler followed him out. After the door shut, there was an awkward silence.

Azroth slowly sat down in an empty seat and put some food on his plate, and began to eat. Again slowly. He didn't know where he was really, who these people were, or why he had no memories.
Kevin stood up as he heard Mr. Youji approach the office. The news he had was not good news, but neither was it terrible news. He chuckled quietly at that thought.

Spirit sighed and sat back down "Am I really that invisible?" she muttered then finally looked over at Azroth and looked back down, she twittled her thumbs and after a few seconds she lied her hands flat on the table, not really hungry.

Azroth looked up at her when he had finished eating. -Is she like me?- He thought. -No memory save for one's name?- He gave a small sigh and stood up slowly. He had questions popping up in his head that he wanted answers. Could this, Mr. Youji, answer them, or would he have to find out on his own.

Yuki and Yuke looked at each other, "I'm bored."
"Hey, Yuki. Lets find something fun to do."
"Yeah! There has to be something fun in a mansion!"
"I wonder if they have any exotic animals! Hey, Sebastion! Do you have any animals?"
The butler nodded,"They are held in the room down the hall and to the left."
"Come on girls," they said in unison,"oh, and mystery guy, you too. Let's go and see the animals!"
Ayase glanced up from his plate,"You do know I am a guy, right?"
The twins shrugged, making Ayase sigh. The brothers grabbed the hands of the others.
"Come on, lets go!"

Azroth was rather shocked by how excited they were. "I'll ummm...catch up with you. I have something to take care of first." He left the room by the same door that Mr. Youji had left through. He had to have those questions answered before it drove him crazy. He then stopped just within the doorway, and sighed. "Whatever." He whispered to himself and turned to look at the twins. "I'll join you for now...He's in a meeting." The last part he said to himself.
Kevin wondered how Mr. Youji would take the news. There was one thing that he would keep to himself for the time being until he learned more.

The twins' red eyes glistened. They grabbed Azroth's hand and led him and the others to the door indicated by the butler. Their eyes sparkled when they entered, noticing the jungle-like room.
Two fuzzy monkeys popped down from a tree, taking an interest in the newcomers. One landed on next to the brothers, the twins immediately began to fuss over it.
The other landed on Ayase's shoulder, making him jump. He stood there, shaking while the monkey picked at his hair. His eyes were wide, staring at the animal.

Azroth hung back. He had the feeling that if he moved closer, the animals would either become afraid and bolt, or become enraged and attack.
Kevin went to the door and opened it for Mr. Youji. "There is something that I must tell you." He said, his eyes grave.

"What is it Kevin?" Mr. Youji's tone seemed to have changed,"What have you to tell me? It seems it is not good news, now out with it."

Kevin nodded. "You know the company that experimented on human children, so as to create the children that you see here? Well, apparently they made another...one that has either the power to create or to destroy, depending on how it is interacted with. Well this one, they started it as a fetus, so it has more energy. I'm still looking into it more, but I fear for those kids. That company plans on erasing them so as the world won't know about them. Apparently they are to dangerous...unpredictable." He shrugged and looked at the grandfather clock. "I have to head back. I got hired there as a tech. That is how I'm finding out so much. I'll let you know more before the end of the week." He stood to leave. "Be careful." He said before leaving.
Azroth watched the twins and the other kid enjoy the monkeys, though the other kid seemed a little unsure of what to make of the monkey, that was now trying to find bugs in his hair. He looked around and saw a small cat like creature. He approached it and it bolted. He hadn't realized that he had come close to the monkeys, and they too bolted. He sighed. "Sorry..." He then turned and left feeling that they would not want him around, especially since he had scared the animals. As soon as he left the room though, they came back to play with the three kids.

Mr.Youji sighed,"Why do these things always happen?"
Ayase followed Azroth out of the room. He tugged on the bottom of his shirt, looking up at Azroth.
"I don't like animals, either," he stated, trying to reassure him.

"Yeah!" Ayase nodded.
He took Azroth by the hand and went off to explore the estate. He peeked into door after door. Most were bedrooms, there was a kitchen, and one that looked like a study. In it were thousands of books of every kind.
"Ah!" Ayase's eyes went wide, he had never seen so many books. He let go of Azroth's hand and began to flip through the books, a slight smile on his face.

Azroth joined him and looked around. He gave a small sigh and looked at Ayase. "Ummm...what are these?" He asked looking away, ashamed that he did not know. "Also, who was that girl from earlier? She seemed kinda lonely..."(ok sorry have to go, will try to be on again later. Have a wedding to go to) |

She nodded to herself "Yeah, exzactly.." she muttered to herself feeling alone. She all the sudden went quiet and tried to think of the peoples names around her, even her own, but, noting poped up into her mind.

Ayase looked up from the book he was inspecting, cocking his head to the side.
"These rectangular objects contain information, some stories. I do not know the name of these strange items, I am afraid. I have seen them before, I just don't remember where..."
He paused for a moment,"As for the girl, you know her as well as I do."

Azroth nodded, wondering if he should go find her and keep her some company. Deep down though, he wasn't sure if he should get close to anyone. |
