((Tis okay Ribun)) Kioko resisted the urge to roll her eyes at the Shifter. "You realize you could have been killed just then," she lectured. "Don't you know better than to shift into your animal form this close to a town, especially when it's a predator like that?" Kioko frowned when she saw the large hole in her cloak. It would take awhile to repair that. And she didn't have the money for a new one. She noticed the Shapeshifter hadn't yet changed into human form. "Well, what are you waiting for? If you're going into town, I'd suggest being human. People tend to be nervous about big predators like that."

Ribunny sighed, slightly ashamed with herself, then nodded, and transformed back into human. "I'm.. sorry." She said, hanging her head, "I usually can control my mountain lion form..." She kicked the sand, dust coming up and making her cough. "And sorry about the Cloak too. You can make a hole in my hoodie for payback if you want!"

"Nah, it wouldn't fix mine, and there's no point in both of us having ripped clothes." Kioko turned back to the rundown town. "I suppose you're either an exile or bounty hunter, seeing as that's the only reason anyone comes out this way." An idea began to form in her head. "So, which is it? Hunted, or hunter?"

"I'm hunted of course." Ribunny replied. Then her eyes widened, "Your not a hunter.. are you?" She took a few steps back. She was usually a very trusting person, but being in the desert for so long had changed her. Now she was quick to judge people, and would run from any dangerous situation, unlike she used to.

Kioko snorted at the other girl. "How many bounty hunters come out and ask if you're an exile? Don't worry, I'm hunted, just like you. It's actually why I asked. I've been on my own for awhile, and it's a bit boring, not to mention dangerous. I'm trying to get a few traveling companions together, people to help watch each others backs. So, you interested? I've got another "ally" over in the town, we're planning on traveling to the walled city soon."

((this seems like a good re-entering spot)) Hikari followed the boy until he sat down in the shade. She glanced up at Kioko to see what she was doing. In the distance she could make out a big lion that was battling with kioko. she gripped her blade in-case of any means of as.sistance. She relaxed when the creature stopped attacking, but what surprised when it transformed into a young girl. she looked to the sand ad cocked her head slightly. "A shifter?" she asked herself.
Ikkaku: Rescue her? How many of you are here? Seven? Maybe eight?

"Alright then," Kioko nodded. "All I ask is you be more careful when you shift. It's going to be hard to avoid detection if we're traveling with a mountain lion." In the distance Kioko could see Hikari watching them, hand on her dagger. She should probably get back to the two of them and explain things. Walking back into town, she waved to their new companion. "Come on, I'll introduce you to Hikari. You can call me Kioko Fuurin. What's your name, by the way?"

Ribunny nodded. She had an urge to tell Kioko that she could shapeshift into other things, not just the mountain lion, but she didn't trust her enough yet. "My name is Ribunny." She replied. "You can call me Ri if it's to long for you to say." She followed Kioko hesitantly, she didn't really like to be around more then one person, but she knew she would have to deal with it.

"Ribunny? Odd name," Kioko thought to herself, then gave a mental shrug. Maybe it was a normal name for a Shapeshifter. She didn't know much about them, except what she'd heard from the older Shinobi in her village. Maybe she could ask Ribunny more about it later in their travels. She stopped next to Hikari in the shade of the old building, where the Elemental was standing next to the man from the bar. He had decided to listen to them and had sat down in the shade. "One hour in this town and I've gathered an entourage," Kioko mused. She looked at the boy, trying to decide whether or not to invite him along as well. Too large of a group would draw as much attention as one person traveling alone.

Aaron winced when the girl nearby said "shifter", he thought she meant him and figured out what he was. He sighed to himself when he knew she wasn't talking about him. Off in the distance he saw another shifter and the girl that wanted to make sure he was all right coming over to him. He braced himself just in case there was a bounty hunter amongst them.

"Feeling better there?" she asked the boy sitting in the shade. Kioko noticed the tension in his shoulders. "Either an exile, or an inexperienced bounty hunter," she decided. "Aww well, if he's a bounty hunter I'm sure the three of us will be able to deal with him." "Hey there. I'm Kioko Fuurin," she told him, watching his reactions. "The red head is Hikari, and the one I just brought in from the desert is Ribunny." She turned her attention to Hikari. "Ribunnys' decided to travel with us. That okay with you? I figure one more person wouldn't be a bad idea."

Aaron nodded, not wanting to say anything wrong so he chose not to say anything at all. What if one of them is a bounty hunter? he thought to himself nervously, I can't take them all down, I am just a lion-shifter. Thinking just made him more nervous so he cleared his mind of all thoughts and just stared out in space.

Kioko noticed the man staring off into space. Frowning, she waved her hand in front of his face to get his attention. "Oy! You okay? You're staring at nothing, you know." She straightened up. "The heat didn't addle your brain, did it?" she joked.

Kioko stepped back to allow him to move. "Hey, what's your name?" she asked suddenly, not wanting him to leave just yet. "After all, you heard our names. It's only polite to introduce yourself in return."

"Aaron." he replied without looking at her. He walked in the direction of where he thought the walled city would be, not knowing what was in store for him now. He stopped in his tracks, what if they are exiles too and are going to the walled city? he asked himself. He thought he would take a chance and ask them, he never took any risks in his life and he thought maybe now was the chance to make one. "Do you know where the walled city is by any chance?" he asked her, turning around. He thought he heard those two girls talking about it and he hopped he wasn't wrong.
