Plot: You all know the story of Snow White, Little Red Riding Hood, Cinderella, Hansel and Gretal, etc. Let's say all of these characters live in a land called Minae (latin for 'paralel'). Put a dark twist on things. The cute little characters you once thought they were have changed. Who knew Goldilocks could use a gun? The characters you once thought were evil have changed... Or have they? The ones you thought as good have turned evil... Or have they? Nothing is as it seems anymore.

You see, the trouble started when evil beings started overrunning everything, creatures called "Nightmares", who are creatures made up of nothing but shadow. They can possess people and bend them to their will and then leave, or stay in the person permenently if the person doesn't fight back which makes them so dangerous. Most of the time they'll simply possess animals. Who's to blame for this deed? Is it one of the old villains? Or maybe it's somebody you don't expect.

Yep, that was the basic plot up there -pokes-. I've been dying to do something like this. So, you can be any character from any faerie tale. Evil characters are up for grabs too. There's many, many characters out there, so no fighting over any, please ;3 Of course, I have dibs on Goldilocks and Snow White, okay? But if someone really wants to, they can fight with me for Snow White xD

Rules: I hate posting rules. Regular roleplaying rules apply, you know them by now. Anyway, be literate. Your posts do not have to be very, very long. I know there are times where one feels like only line is neccessary. Only two characters allowed per person. If you want anymore than that, you have to ask me. For this rp, four sentences is the minimum unless you absolutely can't write anything more than a tiny sentence. But I have a feeling that won't happen. Violence and romance is allowed. Don't allow romance to completely take over the rp unless it really does have something to do with the plot. Mild cursing is allowed. Keep it PG-13, please.

If DevilAngelKia joins, or one of my friends, they have as much power as me. :)

Note: I have a basic plot in my head... But I really like it when people come up with plot twists. :) If you have this amazing idea for the plot, rmail me if you need to so I don't ruin it... Or you can keep it a secret and reveal it whenever ;3 In this rp, betrayal, death, surprises are allowed to happen. Who knows who is going to turn out to be the one pulling the strings. I'll state it once again: if you have any idea whatsoever, rmail me... Or keep it a secret, if you wish.

I feel like I'm forgetting something. Post that sentence (the one in the bold) so I know you've read everything. Well, I always feel like I'm forgetting something so of course I'll add and subtract rules as I go.

Bio, anybody? Well, there's no bio, actually. Post an intro for your character though, letting us know who they are, and anything you've added to them, etc... Well you get the idea. I'll post my into my my character after somebody posts their's.

OOC: I'm going to post my intro. ^^ We still haven't started yet, officially though. I made an edit on my post all the way up there... Be sure to read it...

Intro: She was in an abandoned city. It had been Minae's capitol city. It really looked different then. Back then it was filled with people, sights, smells, colours... Now all of that was gone. Now there was only one lonely girl standing in the empty streets. She was beautiful. Her hair was a perfect, beautiful, golden colour that tumbled onto her shoulders gracefully. Her eyes were as blue as the summer sky. But her eyes were cold. They were angry and empty, staring at the lifeless city. She was wearing a cotton blue dress that was short on her and fit her curves perfectly. On her hips a loose black belt was; it had a gun in it. She looked to be about seventeen years old. Somehow she pulled the look off.  

Finally her eyes narrowed. Her lips curved downward into a frown and in one fluid motion she drew her gun and got it ready... Her eyes were sharp and darted around, listening closely to her surroundings. It was Goldilocks, wielding a gun.

(I feel like I'm forgetting something. And according to Nightmare, yes. Incidentally, I'm Scarlet Weather, Nightmare's older brother. Temporarily stepping in with the obligatory obscure fairy tale reference).

Devil Went Down to Georgia

Tick. Tick. Tick.

Scratch pushed up his top hat, which had begun to droop on his head over the course of the evening, and brushed dust away from his elegant suit. Really, did they always have to pick such depressingly abandoned places? Just once he really wished he could sense a potential soul somewhere with a more conducive atmosphere for a debutante such as himself. He leaned gently on his cane- a long, slim walking stick capped by a silver bust of a goat's head. Always. Always it had to be in the deserted places. 

He turned to the young woman beside him- a lithe redhead wearing a pressed business suit and sungl*censored*es. A small pair of horns were just visible poking through her hair, and rather than a belt, a forked tail curled around her waist. "Kat, my dear, are you absolutely certain that's the one?"

Kat glanced at her employer- a man who appeared to be in his mid-thirties, unremarkable save for the forked tail that swished behind his suit tails and the goat's legs which supported him. "Yes, your disgrace. Miss 'Goldilocks'. Gunslinger extraordinaire. A prime catch if she sells."

"When she sells," Scratch corrected the woman. "When. Do learn to be more positive, Kat, it's a skill that will serve you well for the next stretch of eternity."

Kat humphed but said nothing.

Scratch snapped his fingers. A puff of smoke enveloped him, and he instantly stood behind Goldy.

He wondered for a moment whether he should introduce himself immediately or wait for her to turn before making his sales pitch.

(Before you ask... yes, Scratch is who you think he is. He and Kat are actually from the same fairy tale, though Kat was an unnamed character in that one. Not sure what I'm talking about? Look up "Bearskin".)
