"Ah, that's interesting." She said absentmindedly, not really paying attention for the moment. There was someone outside, staring at her through narrowed eyes. A man dressed in black and she knew exactly what it had come for. Now or Never, she told ehrself and glanced at the man at the table. "Ummm... Can you see him outside?" If he could, he was like her, a supernatural being, if he coudln't, she would tell him she was a bit sick and hallucinating...

He cocked his head to one side when she spoke. She asked if he could see somebody out the window. Looking out of the corner of his eyes, he spotted what she had asked about. A tall man in black, watching the world through narrowed eyes. His own narrowed slightly.
Who was the man targeting. If it was somebody in here, the man was doing very poorly in concealing that fact. "You mean Mr. I-Hate-The-World on the opposite side of the street?" he asked.

"You are a supernatural." She breathed quietly and turned her gaze to the window. "He is after us." she stopped and took a quick intake of breath as her ice cold eyes met the man's red ones. He was a demon and not just any demon, the worst kind. "I'm going to ask you to do something that might sound a bit crazy." she said in a low voice as the demon started trotting towards the coffee shop...

He grinned at that last part. "Crazy is in my almost my middle name. Been called a Berserker when I fight so..." He trailed off and shrugged as he leaned back in the chair, seeming completely casual and relaxed about the whole thing. Though, he was keeping his senses alert as he watched the red-eyed man trot up to the coffee shop.

"Alright, keep the waiter distracted." She dashed out of the coffee shop and wandered up to the demon. "what do you want." she asked, glaring at the full 6 feet of the man. She was lucky it was early morning and not a lot of people were roaming the quiet town. "Tell me, now." A dagger made from ice slid from its sheath and emerged from her hand...

He smiled at that and slipped from his chair as he moved over to the waiter, making sure to keep her back to the window and focused on him. All he could think about was flattery and flirting. Which were two things that came almost naturally to him. He started off by telling her how beautiful she was, even when she denied it, he highlighted the simple wonders of her. How her eyes lightened when she smiled. How she looked a little younger when she laughed.
She took to his flattery quite easily it wasn't even a challenge, but he was fine with that. He gave a cursory glance over her shoulder to see the woman he had been talking to had confronted the man with the crimson eyes.

The man with the crimson eyes smirked at the woman's question. Or demand. The smirk was pure of contempt and it showed his sharpened teeth and his eyes narrowed further into crimson slights. "Demands will not bring answers," the demon rasped in a voice that sounded like a stalling icebox. "But if you must know, my master is very displeased that you -- in particular -- are not dead yet. The male in the cafe is of no concern to him seeing that my master has portrayed his death in his current line of work."

"Who are you." She pressed, the dagger still clenched in her petite hands. "What do you want from me. Who is your master?" She didn't have much of a memory from before she turned 17. Her mind had closed them off and she was unable to access her past. Maybe this demon was from her past...

The demon laughed. This noise didn't even sound like anything found on the mortal plane. It was deep, echo-y, and very hollow at the same time. Then he glanced back at her, his eyes blinked once. "I will spare you one detail, other than that, you will have to figure it out on your own. I am Zhu'kaya and you had better remember that this time," he snarled as he moved to attack her.

Avalia screamed and thrust the dagger deep into the heart of the demon, even fully knowing it wouldn't deter him in the slightest. "Leave now." she said, trying to move away from his attack as she pulled her dagger out, dripping in green blood...

Zhu'kaya stopped short of his attack when he felt the ice dagger pierce his heart. It didn't bother him and he glanced at the icey protrusion with mild interest. He watched as she withdrew it, the blade covered with his emerald blood. The demon snarled and was about to answer when he felt three, sharp prongs pierce his upper back. The three went through his back and out of his chest.
It was the man from the cafe. His green eyes were narrowed as a slight golden glow surrounded the irises. He saw a skeletal and circulatory system this time. And any weakness the demon had.
The demon's crimson eyes widened slightly. How did he get from the cafe to behind him so fast. Without conscious thought, his heart beat increased with the slight fear of being jumped by this man. "Who are you?" he asked.
"Blake Hawke," the man said, smirking. "And you just interrupted a very nice conversation." Blake raised his other hand; which was clenched into a fist. Metal claws a good foot long protruded from in between his knuckles. "May I have the pleasure to send you back to whatever deep, dark pit in Hell you crawled out of?" he asked, as he set the curved tips against the demon's throat.
Zhu'kaya swallowed in his fear. Something he only got when his master threatened him. Then, he vanished; leaving a few wisps of sulfur behind.
Blake snarled and lowered both arms. One set of claws streaked with its green blood. With a shink, the six claws retracted back into his arms.

"Thanks." Avalia breathed and put the dagger back into her belt and letting the water melt so it was just the hilt of a dagger. "So.... what are you?" She wondered allowed as she stared at the male who had just made the demon very angry. "Actually, not here. I know of a better place, follow me." she said, her eyes flashing like ice for a moment. she trotted down the street for a few blocks before arriving at the entrance to a protected forest. she jumped the fence and crawled into a small hole which opened up to a large, dirt and stone cavern...

Blake blinked his so his golden glowing eyes reverted back to normal. Then they flicked to the woman as she asked at question; which he was about to answer. But she said something about not here before trotting off. He shrugged and loped off after her. Watching her approach the fence, he increased his speed and leaped over it like one would do to the hood of a convertible. When he saw her crawl into a small hole, he stopped short.
It was one thing to follow a girl who had an Ice dagger, it was another to go into a place were he had not been before.

"It's safe to come in. If I wanted to hurt you, I would have done it a long time ago and if I had tried... Well... You would have won. To say the least" she called from below. Now, this hole was not ordinary by any means. It was more like a large, underground house. It had chairs and other posetions, as well as a fireplace and a pool of water. It was quite well lit as well...

Blake smirked at that and ended up slipping down the small hole before dropping next to her. His green eyes took in the underground cave... home as he slowly stood to his full six foot height. It looked like a home away from home. "Nice place," he commented before turning his attention back to the woman. "Now, you had a question or four?"

"I did in deed and since I know you might be wondering. I am Avalia Martl Orikani. I am British American. I am a Water Elemental who can control water along with some other talents." she said. "Now, how about you." She sat down on a comfy chair and folded her legs, her hands in her lap...

Blake leaned against the cave wall behind him and slid his fingerless-gloved hands into the pockets of his black jeans. Hell, he could tell her now, this place was under the radar. "I am Blake Hawke. US citizen and member of the US Army serving as a mercenary. Though, I am off duty so you don't need to worry." He grinned crookedly at that. "I am not a master of the elements though. My abilities are a little more... Fine-tuned I guess you could say. I have X-Ray vision, which also includes Heat and Night vision. I also have regenerative abilities. So I heal immediately after I get hurt, but the deeper or more serious the wound is the longer it takes to heal." Then, he removed on of his hands and clenched it into a fist. Three slits could be seen in between his knuckles before three, long metal claws slid out with a metallic shink. "Then there are these. And my entire skeleton is composed of this metallic substance." A sister department in the Army division had actually done this to him. The metal claws had originally been bone until they molded a liquid metal around them, changing that and his skeleton.

"My bones are ice as you could see if you used your x-ray vision. This makes it tough if it is really warm out, but other than that, I tend to be quite good at keeping them from melting, which is actually quite easy because I can just drink something really icy and it will stay regulated for about 5 hours." Avalia said and then stood up, her eyes glinting. "Would you like something to eat? While that cafe's chai was good, their food was an abomination." She snickered..

Blake shook his head at her question as his metal claws slid back into his hands before resting in his forearms. Slipping the hand back into his jeans, he felt his phone vibrate and his mouth shifted into a scowl. Now what? He could wait until it went to voice mail so he wasn't as rude. But then, it might be is CO and he can be a real SOB when ignored. Tilting his head, he just let the phone continue to vibrate.
