The pitter patter of water hitting the gr*censored* was a inviting sound. It sort of called her to go out and let her face be splatted on as well. In truth, it wasn't such a bad offer. Rose had always loved the rain, it had calmed her, clensed her, and helped her in many situations. Yet inside the Pokecenter, she couldn't great her old friend the rain. The only thing that stopped her from walking outside right then was the knowledge that she would have to change clothes and this was her last clean pair. She really needed to do some laundry. Glancing down at her Ninetails she smiled. The female was currled around on the mat that was in her small rented room of the Center. With her silvery appearence, it was no wonder that Rose had named her Rain. Shaking her curly brown hair softly, she squated down and stroked Rain softly, waking her up. "Care for some training out in the rain, Rain?" The seventeen year old girl spoke softly, watching as the light in Rain's eyes intensified at the thought of training. Standing back up, the girl hurried to put her shoes on as rain stretched out the kinks from the sleep. As she sprinted out of the room, jacket hood pulled high above her head and her ninetails following after her, she probably looked more like a shadow then a real person. Because the fact is, Rose meant to be a shadow. For the truth was, she was more then she seemed. More than just a girl, more then just a trainer. Rain wasn't her only parter pokemon, she was one of two. Her other had been getting some rest inside his pokeball from the training she had done with him earlier. As she sprinted through the center of the room where trainers gathered to stay warm away from the rain, she secretly laughed. No one knew who she was, and at this time in the world, it was a good thing. Dodging around a few humans, she pushed the door to the Pokemon center open, popping open her umbrella, and continued on to the battle field to the left, her steps swift but careful since she didn't want to slip and fall. Rain was right behind her, not caring the least bit about the rain. She was a fire type, but her name held true. The rain didn't bother the ninetails in the least. Squish, squash, squish, squash. Boots hit the ground one after another, not even trying to avoid the puddles that littlered the ground and grew larger by the minute. The canopy of leaves above sheltered the boy from getting to soaked. Water dripped from the leaves above, making the pokemon that were already trying to find shelter in the forest reconsider their hiding place. Glancing at the pokemon center full of warm lights and inviting humans inside, the male scowled. He had never been a peoples person but today, he needed to be someplace warm. Sighing, he trecked over to the door, and pulled it open slowly, before making his way to the fireplace where no one yet sat.

Sitting in the near deserted Poke Center, Greylocke sighed sadly. Her team, composed mainly of non-water types, didn't really enjoy the rain. "Whatever. I get to enjoy the warmth by myself... Safe from those demented aura pokemon..." A small flash appeared, and Charizard appeared, looking sullen and wet. Waving a hand over to the fireplace, she grinned. "Go on. Dry yourself. Just don't burn the whole place down." Snorting, the Charizard ambled over to a safe distance from the fireplace, careful not to disturb the male near there. Cupping her face with her hands, Greylocke waited albeit a little impatiently for Nurse Joy to come out with the remainder of her pokemon. Speak of the devil... Greylocke thought wryly as the ever present and cheerful Nurse Joy came over, with a tray of pokeballs. "There you are Greylocke! All your pokemon are healthy and fit, just keep them out of competitive battles for a week or so." Nodding cheerfully, Greylocke pocketed the pokeballs and put them on her belt. "Yup! thanks Nurse Joy, I'll remember that!"

Jake sat down in an empty chair, hands reached out to warm himself. The heat from the fire was nice on his light tan skin, yet he didn't feel warm. The thumping of a large pokemon sounding behind him surprised him but not enough to make him turn to look. Sighing, he shook his head, little droplets of water flying out of his black hair. Just another pokemon. One who it seemed wanted the heat as much as he did. Jake raised his hands up to his lips and blew a hot burst of air into them, willing the warmth back into them. The fingerless gloves he wore were good for keeping heat in but once the heat was gone, it was hard for them to regain that warmth. A bolt of lighting and a rumble of thunder sounded from outside, and he was glad that he had found someplace dry that evening, even if it was with other humans. Rose looked up at the overcast sky, smiling as water pelted her face. Slipping her pokeball out of her belt, she glanced at it and then at Rain who stood prepared a few feet away. Tossing the ball up into the air, she waited till the familiar pop spunded and almost instantly her pokemon stood in front of her. "Hey Luxray." She said quietly, catching the capsule again and slipping it back into her belt. A electric vs. a fire. At least, part fire. She would only be using that set of moves at the moment. "Ready you two?" Rose called, and nodded once as the calls of her pokemon came back with their quick reasurance. "Ok then, Luxray, use ChargeBeam."

(( Double post for you Lake :P)) Tilting his head, Charizard blew a small puff a smoke towards the male, imitating his movement. This was his way of entertainment in Pokemon Centers that weren't big enough for him to fly in, to imitate other Trainers. Shaking his head like the male, Charizard also released a gusty sigh, and breathed on his... forearms. "Charizard! Come here, the others are fine, you up for a practice battle, or d'you wanna stay here?" Greylocke called out, pulling out the pokeball they both knew contained Altaria. Shaking his head a bit violently, Charizard resumed watching the fire and the male. Shrugging, she sighed. "All right Char, but you know what to do if Professor Oak or someone like that comes. I'll be right out, so you stay all right?" Without further ado, she sprinted outside, quickly tossing 4 pokeballs into the air. But when she came to Tyranitar's pokeball though, she hesitated. Ground and Rock types hated the rain like Charizard did. But Charizard had his flame to worry about, whereas Tyranitar would only have to deal with a pattering on his head. Pausing for a second, she shrugged good naturedly, and released him too. Blowing on the whistle she always had around her neck, all 5 pokemon trained their attention on her. "All right guys, it's practice battle time. One on one training, but first I'll check up on your moves all right? Who wants to go first?" Noticing all of their hesitation, she added cheerfully, "All the rest get to stay in their pokeball until it's their turn." Trilling, Altaria broke out of the huddled m*censored* of pokemon and floated cheerfully onto top of Greylocke. "You're going first Alt? All right!" Greylocke grinned, and withdrew all but Weavile and Sceptile. "You two are going to practice sparring first, all right? Weavile, make Sceptile practice more on using his feet than forearms. Scept's a bit like a rock when using Leaf Blade and Dragon Claw." When both pokemon nodded, she turned her attention to Altaria.

The male rolled his eyes as he saw the Charizard mimic him. With sigh, he just gazed out of the window, attempting to see through the dark sheet of water towards were a small light was flashing. It was another pokemon..... and a trainer to by the looks of it. One that didn't seem to mind the rain. Looking once around the pokecenter, his gaze finally stopped on another group of pokemon huddled around one trainer who looked as if she to was planning on heading outside. Odd, everyone seemed to not mind the rain all of a sudden. Rose smiled as she heard the familiar crack of energy sound, and the whole world burst into light as if a lightning bolt had hit the ground and stayed there to illuminate the night. The powerful attack shot at Rain, and Rose didn't say anything to command the female what to do. This training was for instinct, not for listening. Rain understood immediately, and steadied herself, then with quick breath of air, she let out a Flamethrower to match the light of the chargebeam coming at her. Moving her head in a circle, the flame swirled around the lightning attack and snufffed it out.

Vernon looked up from where he laided in the gr*censored* and sighed. "Okay Tirta. Time to go back into the Pokeball." he said to the Vaporeon. He sat up from where he was. He got to his feet and pointed the ball at her. She gave a smile. "Por!" yelled the pokemon as the red lightly flashed out and consumed her. Vernon looked at Rei and smiled. "Come on buddy. I'm sure Jess isn't happy to be to have been in the room for too long." he laughed. Rei looked back and nodded, with a small smile on his muzzle. He sat up from the soggy gra.ss. Vernon walked into the Pokemon Center, his Lucario after him. He laughed when he noticed Jess walking down the stairs. She looked at Vernon and pouted. "Gar!" she yelled. Vernon chuckled. "Sorry Jess. We were just comming to get you." he smirked. Jess noticed the soggy clothes of his and Rei's wet fur. She looked at him confused. "Oh. Its raining." he said as he walked over to the fire place, where there sat another trainer. He didn't want to bother him and so he sat somewhat away from them. Rei looked at them. His eyes narrowed as he sat close to Vernon.
((Edited it. For some reason my computer didn't show that Greylocke moved. xD So now it says one trainer.))

Nyla was watching the space around the Pokemon Center with interest. Suddenly, it seemed, everyone was practicing their battle techniques. And it looked like a few of the water types had gone in, too. Shrugging, and eager to get her errands done and get on the road, she glanced up at Aira, who was watching her expectantly. With a smile, Nyla nodded. "Go ahead, Aira. Sunny Day." The Dragonair brightened excitedly, and started looping around in the sky, more out of excitement than anything. Before long, the clouds were moving away and the sun was starting to shine again. Nyla breathed in deeply. She loved the smell of wet gras.s and leaves, but not the rain itself. Ventral shook out his wings and Nyla took him back into his Pokeball. The Tropius would end up getting into trouble if she hadn't. Glancing up at her two Dragonair spiraling around in the sky, she got to her feet and started toward the town, Teva at her side. Maybe she could find someone to double battle with. Dragom and Aira hadn't fought together in a while. Teva yawned, and Nyla smiled sympathetically. The Ninetails hadn't had much sleep lately, since they'd been on the road as much as possible. Silently and swiftly, the girl took her Pokeball from her belt, and returned Teva to it. "Go ahead and rest, girl. You deserve it." At that point she was just left with Dragom and Aira, who were now on the ground out front of the PokeCenter, one on either side of the door. As she walked in, she made sure to pause to pat each on the nose. "Okay, you two, be good. I'll be right back." She strode inside and, after a few quick words with Nurse Joy, walked out with her arms full of berries. She tossed a Leppa to Aira, and an Oran to Dragom, before stuffing the rest in her backpack. After a moment, she shouldered her bag and gestured to an open space in front of her. "You two want to practice Draco Meteor?" ((I'll just as.sume that berries are sold at PokeCenters, because most PokeMarts don't sell berries, and yet, in the shows they always seems to have some just after visiting a town. xD))
"You're off the edge of the map, mate. Here there be monsters."

Blinking in surprise, Greylocke looked up into the sky where a Dragonair or two where using the move sunny day. Grinning mischievously, she looked at Weavile. "Would it be cruel to use Hail and Blizzard now, or shall we save that for tomorrow?" The Weavile looked at Greylocke like a patronizing mother, and she sighed reluctantly. "All right, fine, I won't make you use those moves.. But at least practice sparring with Sceptile as I practice Altaria's Sky Attack and Dragon Pulse all right?" Nodding, Weavile resumed her intent position across from Sceptile. Lunging forward, she swiped at Sceptile, only to miss and be slashed back at. Turning her attention to Altaria, she nodded. "Altaria!" She called out loudly. A melodious hum came back a minute later. "You see that Pecha Berry near the Oran Berry tree? The one right next to the Poke Center?" Another melodious trill answered Greylocke. "All right, I want you to use Sky Attack on that Pecha berry and slice it in half! Can you do that?" Once again, a melodious trill answered Greylocke, and Altaria shot upwards a good 600 feet. "Sky Attack!" She cried out, following battle procedures as Greylocke already knew Altaria was smart enough to use the move at that height. Altaria began to glow, then an instant later, plummeted quickly towards the tree. Moments later, she landed neatly, nearly unsettling a mound of Oran Berries from their places. Hurtling over to were Altaria was, Greylocke spied the Pecha Berry. It was neatly sliced in half. "Good one Alt!" She praised her, as Altaria hummed gently in satisfaction.
