Eli nodded. "I'll be back soon." He closed his eyes and reached out his mind. The mayors archers were eaasy to sway. Once they felt a prick in their minds they forgot all about their orders and took off for home.

Once he was sure that no more men were 'battle-ready', Eli opened his eyes and smiled tiredly. He wobbled a little as he stood, but the effects of the mind-swaying soon wore off.

Eli's face twisted ina ferocious snarl. He cast around for a place to land and ran to a stop. The avie placed Rosalie carefully down. "Just hang on Rose." He choked. Again. Torn between staying with her and going to take care of the man, he simply reached out and, with some trouble on his part, put him to sleep...permanently. Eli sagged and sat beside Rosalie and cried. For himself, for what he was, and for Rose. (Aww. Poor Eli. Having a pity party. :( )

((Poor Eli! D= )) Rosalie moaned slightly, her eyes fluttering open, her breathing rough and pained. The arrow had gone in deep, missing her right lung, but placing much pressure on it. She was bleeding, badly, and Her back felt like it had been stung by a thousand bees. "Eli...", Rosalie whispered hoarsely, slipping Eli's hand into her own gently, "Eli, take me to Willow... She'll know what to do.... She'll help me....." That was all she managed to say before slipping back into uncontiusness. |

Eli looked at Rosalie, startled, and nodded. He picked her up gently and vaulted into the sky, his wings hardly seeming to move as they shot through it. Within the span of a few minutes, he landed them at Tara's house. Willow ran out, already knowing what had happened.

((WE NEED PEOPLE! XD)) Tara washed her hands in scalding water, temporarily diverting Eli's attention from Rose as he wondered how she could stand it. She did the same as she had done with Eli less than a day before, doing the job as easily as if she did it every day. She might need to. Came Willows silent mind-voice, making Eli smile slightly.

Rosalie stirred, than awoke, as a sudden wave of pain ripped through her body. She bolted upright, feeling the bandage that Tara had wrapped tightly around her wound. "Eli, what happened?", she asked groggily.
