"Bitter root." Tara said, still holding it out to Rosalie. "The name suites it, wouldnt you agree?"

"what's it for?", rosalie asked, still holding her nose, "do i eat it, or what?"

tara chuckled."you eat it." she explained. "though, it really should be called the deciever, as it's actually very sweet."

"okay..", rosalie agreed, uncertainly taking the foul-smelling substance from tara and cautiously tasting some of it.

tara laughed and patted rosalies knee, standing up. "i think you'll be fine." she said, roving around, taking in the extents of willows handywork.

personality traits: fun loving and energetic but he has his serious and quiet moments. Normally doesnt get involved in fights, but if a loved one is in danger, he wont take a moments though before leaping in and trying to settle the score.

rosalie smiled, finishing off the surprisingly sweet bitterroot in two more bites. She looked over to eli, and than to willow. In a short period of time, she would be like them. A winged being. What she'd only dreamed of becoming.

eli grinned, catching rosalies eye. He was glad to have won her affections, and glad that she would soon be able to really fly, but he was also sad; she wouldnt be able to lead a normal life.

rosalie chuckled when eli met her glance, smiling almost as widely as he was. The pain had disappeared... Probably the doing of the bitterroot that tara had supplied her. She had long since come to the realization that she'd never see her small village ever again, but she didn't mind. She never really fit in with the other humans. 

"of course," willow piped up "this will cause some trouble...What with us just having quote-on-quote 'kidnapped' the mayors daughter..." eli looked at willow from thecorner of his eye, for the first time in a long time allowing an annoyed look to cross his face, though only for a split second.

"you didn't kidnap me!", rosalie exclaimed indignaintly folding her arms, "i came willingly." rosalie noted the willows ex
pression, the same irrite look coming onto her own face.

((i got to fight a fire today))

"but the town and mayor might see it differently." eli said, unfolding his arms and going to sit beside rose. He rubbed the spot between her shoulder blades...The area that would soon be between her wings. 

"i'd give it at lease 24 hours before they appear." tara said over her shoulder. "another 24 before they're fully fledged. And dont even try flying for a month!" she shuddered. "willow and eli will teach you when the time comes."

"good point, eli... Tara, is there some particular reason for that?", rosalie asked, looking at tara and cocking her head slightly.

"particular reason for what? Not fllying or why the mayor might see it differently?" tara dried her hands off on a dish towel, her face the picture of wide-eyed innocence.

"tara," eli chuckled. "we've either got to get you a memory stone or just sit you down so you'll be forced to pay attention whilst we talk to you."
