"Oh! Gracious no!" Tara exclaimed. Willow and Eli both chuckled, embarras-sed. Ignoring them, Tara went on. "They had to watch the birds for hours and I had to find books on Avies to-" Her face paled. "Willow. The books." Eli and Willow both looked at their hands, pained looks on their faces. "Gone, Ma. They burned the house almost as soon as we left." The female replied. "I...I didn't want to tell you. I'm sorry." Tara looked on the verge of tears, but quickly regained her composure. "No matter," She said, trying to make her voice light. "I memorized most of it." Eli and Willow both nodded halfheartedly. "Oh. C'mon you two. We need to pack." "Why?" Eli asked, tilting his head to the side. "Because," Tara explained "We need to find another town...and Banturi isnt too far from here; I'd say 7 leagues at most." ((A league in 3 miles))

"Well, anyway," She said "The two of you have my blessing. May you live long and happy lives, and your beds never empty." "Mom!" Willow and Eli both screeched as one, appaled. Tara thought they were hillarious and started laughing uproarusly.
