"Really?" Eli asked, *censored*uming a curious ex pression. "I find fear very amusing. Often brings out the best of people." He grinned back at her, then looked up, flying over to Willow and Tara, who was motioning to them. "We're far enough away that we wont be spotted by any searchers, so why dont we land?" Tara suggested from Willows arms. "I'm hungry."

"You just like teasing me, don't you?!", she laughed, looking down and admiring the view. "Sounds good, Tara", Rosalie agreed, "I'm starved!" ((P.H.A.I.L. *Headdesk*))

"Maybe," Eli shrugged with a grin. He followed Willow, who had been told by Willow to land. The clearing was surrounded by aspens and Willow immediately set to running through them, pressing hands on their trunks and closing her eyes as if speaking to them. Eli set Rose gently down and pulled on his large overshirt over his black wings.

"What about me, don't I need some sort of disguise?" Rosalie asked, her wings rustling irritably, "I don;t want to get caught any more than you do!" She laughed, grinning at Eli.

Willow turned. "No, we want you to get caught." She said with a grin. She pulled her shirt out from her waist band and threw it to Rose. "Your 'bout my size. I dont really need one," The girl vaulted up into a tree and perched, wings slightly spread for balance. Tara shook her head. "That girl is more like a bird than just wings,"

"Thanks, Will!" Rose said, smiling as her friend perched in the tree. She slipped the t-shirt over her head, pulling her wings in as closely as she could, frowning at the fact that she had to keep them in such cramped confines.

"You'll get used to it," Eli shrugged, reading her frown easily. "After a few years, maybe, but you'll get used to it." He walked over to held Tara start a fire, gathering dry, smokeless wood.

"Tara caught a squirrel." Willow pointed to Tara, busily skinning a rabbit. She blinked. "Or rabbit. Whatever."

"Rose, was that a pun?" Willow asked, jumping down. without waiting for an answer, she shrugged. "We could put it in a stew. there're plen'y of tubers an' mushrooms round here, a crick a little ways off. Do we got a bowl?" "Do we have a bowl, Will. Proper grammar please, though I know you dont care." Tara waved the bouncing avie off after giving her a small bowl. "That'll keep her occupied for a while..."

Tara smiled. "When she sleeps." "No," Eli laughed. "Shes pretty active even then." He pointed to a scar on his forehead, one of the only ones on his body. "Got this from 'er when we was little. Kicked me off the bed and I hit my head on the leg." "Were, Eli. When we were. Gahl. I swear you two..."

"She is most definately the most active being I've EVER seen, save one squirrel who used to visit our house sometimes. The silly animal would not ever calm himself, running back and forth like a madman. Erm, madsquirrel. " Rosalie chuckled, grinning at her hyper friend.

Willow bounded back and looked around, puzzled. "Where do I put this, mam?" She asked, spinning around and, to Elis surprise, managing not to spill any water. Tara brushed dark brown hair behind her ear. "Ehm, can you put it in the skin bag? No, not now. Stand there while we dig a hole." She shook her head and she and Eli started digging. When the hole was large enough, they placed several large rocks into the fire and Tara pulled out a skin bag with a stick frame to keep it open and placed that in the hole. "Now you can put it in. We may need more..." Willow nodded eagerly and took off again.

"That is so true..." Rosalie agreed, noding. She looked at Eli, unble to believe all that had happened in only two days. Finding the avvies, falling in love with one of them, nearly forced into an arranged mairrage, rescued by Eli, having to run away from the only place she'd known her entire life, and being pursued by ones she once called her friends. "Can you believe it's only been two days?" she asked, smiling softly.
