The demonic equine lifted his dripping muzzle from the cool stream and pricked his ears, his nostrils flaring as he scented the humanoid demon from before further upstream. Aleks snorted and trotted to the bank, walking along the side of the river with his nose to the ground and ears listening, tracking.
As he came to the pool, he stopped again to scent, then lifted his head to spot the other male. The horse demon stayed in the shadows and simply watched, growing silent again as his ears flicked to and fro to catch all the sounds, four eyes trained on the form before him. He didn't move, other than cocking a back hoof out of habit and dropping his head just slightly to catch the scent better.
It seemed the other was sad, and from the way he talked, Aleks guessed he'd lost a loved one recently. The younger male couldn't say he sympathized, he'd not had anyone close to him to lose, and such didn't know the pain of death.
As the sun came out and the scent on the wind changed from sad to peaceful, Aleks snorted, accidentally of course, not used to the bright light. He cursed silently. How stupid could he be?! Alerting a possible foe to his presence.

Just as Alistair began to doze off, the warmth of the sun relaxing him, his eyes flashed open due to a disturbance from the darkness of the woods. He remained still, as if he had heard nothing at all, but he was well aware of the scent of a demon. He figured that if it wanted to make itself known, it would have already, and it wasn't like Alistair was bothered by the presence as long as the other demon respected the area. He finally stood up and stretched his muscled arms, trying to get rid of the drowsiness in his body. (I'm sorry for such a lame post. I have such a writer's block right now.) |

Aleks blinked and allowed himself to shift back into a human, stepping slightly out into the sunshine and sinking down, far away from the other demon, as he'd seen him doing before, crossing his legs and staring down at the water silently, bright blue eyes flicking around to watch the fish and such.
He glanced back up at the other male with a questioning glance, as if asking if it was ok for him to be sitting here. Even if it was, the silver-haired youth remained on edge, muscles tensed and ready if he needed to fight or flee.
He shifted back to beast only partway, skin turning grey, tail sprouting from his bottom, and wicked horns growing from his forehead and nose. His tail curled forward over his shoulder, the tips trailing in the water and teasing the fish.

"Well, hello there," Alistair said to the demon in a kind tone, his gaze still on the rippling water. When he finally glanced over, he was shocked, not because of the form that he took, but because of how young he appeared. He had sensed that the demon had been young, but he was expecting a demon around their twenties, not a child. The one question that ran through his mind was 'What possibly could this kid have done to have to pay the price of becoming a servent of hell?' But the truth was, it was not any of Alistair's business to ask. So, he didn't. Instead, he sat back down, this time on a comfortable rock, and watched as water elegantly crashed into water. "I would be careful of those fish. One of them has a mean bite." A memory of a past experience caused Alistair to look at his foot and flinch. "I considered calling the rotten thing Hades, but I don't think it would have done it justice."

Brad bared his long teeth at Shadow. "I was just bored and decided to say hi to people." He scratched Shadow back in return. "You really don't wanna get on the wrong side of me, look at my teeth."

Shadow laughed and replied,"A simple misunderstanding. I thought Satan sent you after me. Sorry. Also,you aren't that scarey,by the way." She then gave him a friendly shove and added,"I believe you don't like the ol' guy either. I'm correct,yes?" Sitting down,she waited,kindly,for the answer.

Shadow nodded and said,"What did you get banished for?" "I got banished for talking about heaven and all that. I tried to figure out how to get there.",she explained and laid down,letting her bangs blow in the faint breeze as she looked up at him.

OoC:// Thanks BIC:// Bow gathered her things and began to settle off. Not soon after she smelled more demons in the area. She followed the scent and found where they were. One male and a female. She stayed hidden and watched for a few seconds and came out of hiding and looked at them a bid oddly. Waiting for them to notice her.
